Anleitung zum Thread (Bitte zuerst lesen!)
Im Folgenden findest du vier Abschnitte, welche stets farbig mit "ICH BIN" beginnen. Bitte such dir zunächst den zu deiner Situation passenden Abschnitt heraus und beachte die Regeln, welche du weiter unten findest.
 
LFO steht für "Looking for Organization". Zu Deutsch: Auf der Suche nach einer Organisation.

Bitte folge diesen Schritten zur Teilnahme in diesem Thema:
 
Kopiere zunächst den Inhalt des Musters und füge diesen im Antwortfeld dieses Threads ein. Passe den Text an, indem du deine eigenen Infos an Stelle der Platzhalter einsetzt. Absenden und fertig!

Außerdem möchte ich dir wärmstens empfehlen, das Community Portal zu durchstöbern, sowie die Forenbereiche Novark's Registratur (Deutsch) und die Novark's Registry (Englisch) zu besuchen, um die Listen der verschiedenen Organisationen in Dual Universe einzusehen. Das Community Portal bietet dir eine vollständige Liste über den Navigationspunkt ORGANIZATIONS, während du hier im Forum die Vorstellungsthreads jener Organisationen finden kannst, welche bereits einen solchen erstellt haben.

Sollte jemand mal nicht innerhalb einer Woche antworten, dann kannst du den Beitrag melden (bitte mit entsprechendem Hinweis) und ich versuche selbst Kontakt zu dem Suchenden aufzunehmen - sollten auch ich keine Antwort bekommen, kann ich den Beitrag ausblenden, bis sich der Suchende bei mir meldet. Am Samstag gab es wohl schwerwiegende Probleme, soweit ich das verstanden hatte, hatte man die Server auch aus Sicherheitsgründen Offline geschaltet, um das Problem zu untersuchen, Sind wohl Dinge verschwunden.
Gestern waren die Server schlicht überfordert. 
Ich denke ja, dass man für DU eine Beta mit Abo eingeführt hat nicht nur um die Finanzierung zu sichern, sondern auch um die Menge an Spieler zu regulieren. Bei einer kostenlosen Beta wäre alles noch schlimmer geworden. Allerdings kamen viel mehr Spieler als erwartet, gut für die Finanzen, schlecht für Server und Image.
Auf Sanctuary waren gestern schon über 15.000 Gebiete beansprucht (Am Freitag glaube waren es noch 12.000), das kann ein guter Indikator sein wie viele Spieler insgesamt DU spielen oder zumindest das Anfangstutorial so weit abschlossen haben. 

I am of the opinion that communication via the Discord-Chanel is not necessary.
Any support should also take place in the game itself and not be communicated via external channels.
I don't want to increase the number of clients out on Discord, just get the usual, quick help in the game I'm used to and which I find as good as it was.
 
In the Past:
I asked for help many times between February and April.
And: It went like this:

>>> In the chat I asked 1-3 times for an NQ-Mod and >>>

>>> Then: It was less than 5 minutes later. up to 10min. A mod in the chat that invited me to a private channel

>>> Then: I have described my problem and if the problem could only be solved "personally" by a mod, he teleported to me and in 2 minutes. it was all over.

Result: Everyone was happy and it didn't take long for everyone involved to fix the problem. ?


Why doesn't this work in beta? ?

The whole crap started when the support channel became to a open-channel, so many weeks before the beta ...
During the whole chat chaos, of course, nobody saw a mod when someone called for an NQ mod ...

So in retrospect, NQ kind of worked to make it the way it is now ...

Because probably everyone will realize that the support channel mixed with an open channel is just as useful as;
as if I wanted to have a discourse about the meaning of life with 5 friends at a rock concert. Am I right? ?

being tasked with keeping this forum a place everyone can enjoy, I agree with the original request and took the liberty to forward this. As I see it following your conversations, members could benefit from finding the announcements on the forums too.
 
Please take note that this is not an official statement. In my personal estimation I'm not sure if there is enough capacity to make it happen just now - or even decide on it right away. But rest assured you've got my support when it's on the table. Not as replacement, but as addition to announcements on Discord 
 
Regarding the current discussion I'd like to ask you to keep things civil. There's room for every voice on this matter - irony, sarcasm and attacks won't help this thread move forward

The servers are down atm.
 
Notification went through chat in game about an hour ago - Did you not see it :D:D:D LOL
 
They really need a server status update on the log in screen... oh and to communicate this better.

Communication by and through third party programs is bad communication.  99% of games communicate or have help channels on the main forums and in game support channels.
 
I shudder at the refunds NQ will have had to shell out because support and announcements are hard to find.
 
It's also cluttering up these forums with errors and requests for help, even on the recruiting channel.
 
Nowhere on the forums and in this main forum does ot say "Go to Discord for help", for example.

#1 If the 'chosen' method is Discord, why are there so many other official methods still in use? Things like the forum, News section, ingame channel, etc.
#2 Don't force stuff down your customers throat when you don't have to. If people have to do things (out of game) that they don't like, that will weigh in when it's time to renew the subscription.
#3 Discord in an 'ephemeral' medium, finding specific information is a bloody pain. That is great for the instant gratification crowd and things happening now, things that were announced a few hours or godforbid, a day ago are a pain to find!

"Server Down" und "NOT AUTHORIZED TO CONNECT TO A PRIVATE SERVER" sind irgendwie nicht das selbe xD

das kann ich so bestätigen. Meistens baue ich ein zwei Sachen weiter und dann bleibt irgendwie doch alles da =). Ich habe das Problem auch.
Manchmal hilft es wo anders einfach einen Klotz zu bauen und wieder wegzunehmen... Vielleicht buggt dann der Klotz, aber deine anderen Sachen bleiben danach...

Dear Alpha testers,
 
The Beta launch is coming in just a few weeks and as you might expect it, so is the pre-Beta wipe! You will have 2 last test sessions before the wipe, during which we ask you to save all the Constructs you want to keep under the form of a Blueprint. 
 
We know that this official announcement comes on short notice, but as you can imagine, the whole team is on a tight schedule to deliver the Beta at the end of the month and we’re trying to inform you as much in advance as possible with the time constraints.
 
The last test sessions before the wipe will occur will be:  
 
From Thursday, August 6th at 14:00 UTC
To Monday, August 10th at 14:00 UTC
  From Thursday, August 13th at 14:00 UTC
To Monday, August 17th at 14:00 UTC  
Remember, everything will be wiped following this session, except the normal blueprints located in your Player Inventory (Nanopack), so be sure to keep those previously on your character, and not anywhere else (like in a container).
 
Last but not least, we also want to apologize for the inconvenience regarding the very short notice about the extended PvP zone and the issues that may have resulted from the situation. However, if you’re in a situation where some of your Constructs have been damaged before you can make an up-to-date blueprint of the said Constructs, please contact our Customer Support as soon as possible so you can get help from our team before the next test session. If you’re in such a situation, please read carefully the process described in the previous announcement published here.
