I'd say yeah ... the universe doesn't exist until someone goes there and the game generates it so you could probably take a long time to get to a galaxy far far away.

My "Am I the only one in Yin Yang Federation?" thread was deleted too ... and no hate in that one .... It was just dumb. I'm going to start another thread titled "Am I the only one who had a thread deleted because of how dumb it was?" hahaha Seriously I thought it was all in good fun, nothing with hateful intentions but like mentioned before you can't allow something like that and then delete the ones that have hurtful or hateful intentions behind it after allowing that door opened.

I'd love if we could do this. I wouldn't bet on it happening but it would be nice. When in my ship I lock S-foils in attack position then my ship plays this ....

The point of currency is to make transactions easier without multiple conversions. No barter please. If we crashed on a distant planet with only the Arkship then .... AC = Ark Credits or Ark Creds for short Short and simple without needing to the power of unnecessary.

Only thing I have seen concrete is 1st quarter 2017 alpha is hoped to be going. Very few chosen to alpha test then.

I want my toon to look like that ^^^^ with the trails and all haha I know what I'm scripting .... such a "currency yet to be named" maker!

This is only day 3 since I found out about this little gem and I already can't wait for this game. I find myself asking ARE WE THERE YET? Sooooo ... I know this is early but anyone want to guess a release date? I am guessing July 2018.

Don't forget ... youtube is your friend. I'll be doing the same but looked into it a bit and it isn't difficult. I'll brush up on commands closer to launch, otherwise I'll forget some things and need to do it again anyway.

Unless there is a tech to balance the weather effects then no. If balance is able to be done then that would give more depth in gameplay/building for specific planets/areas. From what I read about survival it seems the most detailed it would be is like shielding/armor to keep the ship from being damaged from radiation, toxicity, extreme coldness or heat. The only effect is damage, but there are different "defenses" for the different causes. Like a rock paper scissors type of play. If the game would handle more in depth/varied effects than great but I wouldn't bet on it.

I really like this idea. Sort of like Eve and wormholes ... instead of making sure I have plenty of probes in my hold to find openings in DU just make sure you have extra probes if a gate is blown up while on the wrong side. The possibility of being able to connect/disconnect interstellar travel lanes brings a huge strategic component to the game. Plus you build it, you own it
