You can create a blueprint without DRM. So, you can ask other players.

The outpost station description is a bit confusing.  It leads one to believe its movable, then in fact its just fairly cheap to blueprint and rebuild.  Since it has containers, you cannot re-compact it once deployed.

Even without containers, you can't compact static cores can you?

I don't think so, but am not 100% sure - will try in a bit.  But a newbie to the game is not going to know that.

 

Update:  Carter on the forum proved it.  You can only compact items with an XS dynamic core.
