For what it is worth I am still loving the game, not even had to look at the ToS though, it doesnt bother the players that dont look to cheat (sorry, push the bounderies) -

Just not sure what you are deeming 'clearly unacceptable' that is all, presuming you are referring the that little gobshite that got banned, personally I find that perfectly acceptable. Part of me wishes there was a big community focused org that was driven by NQ at this stage, something focused on linking up all the dots, giving small / solos a way to find the career paths that are out there. Almost like a not for profit organisation, purely focus on helping create the platform of civilisation.

With the advent of Beta, I was expecting to get a massive windfall of requests for help so much so we'd be having to do bulk runs where we load up on a dozen or so people going to one planet, then fly around and hit them bing-bing-bong-bong-bing-bing-bong. Our number of requests was fairly nominal as we became more well known through advertising on the forums, in the DU-scord, and from advertising at marketplaces. We're not yet advertising at the markets because DU Classifieds isn't yet fully operational, and I don't want to plop just a lonely screen there anymore.

And no, I'm not here to pick on NQ. I'm pointing out a problem, in fact, I knew this would be an issue a long time ago which was why I started E&ESAR to begin with. I'd like to solve it on my own as a member of the community, but I'm not being allowed to, so we're here with support because this was allowed to happen. Like a lot of people, I would have blazed a different path than NQ did, probably starting in Alpha 2. I'm not a developer though so the best I can do is offer my support, well wishes, and hopefully this can be taken as somewhat constructive feedback.You are 100% one of the services this thread is here to support, this story is not surprising, if i am honest i would have sat in support channel protesting for the last 6 weeks if I was you. Rescue is massively popular in other games and a OBVIOUS career paths in this game. It is time to give it back to the players.
Can I also add that DU's support team are possibly the best I have ever seen in a game, they are hard working, dedicated, and still manage to keep good spirits despite the sometimes apocalyptic levels of reports they have to field. This will also give them a well earned breather...... come on NQ you know it makes sense. Find me another forum post where EVERYONE agrees.

I would agree with this apart from the fact that any solution would be better than the clusterfudge of trying to get support currently, where people with ACTUAL issues have to stand there with their hands up trying to be seen behind a wall of players wanting to be teleported to their friends on Lacobus (have literally seen this requested). How could it make it any harder? You have to go on Discord at the moment anyway. You just make another channels called community support and have orgs registered to be allowed access to some sort of support channel. It is not difficult.

It wasnt a rule, as soon as it became a rule it is an exploit and you should be banned for doing it. I have no issue with it as gameplay but other players and NQ do, I accept that 100%. That doesnt change my opinion that I would have it in the game. Are you just trying to have to start and argument or being obtuse? Anyone how knows me on this forums, knows my stance on exploits, I have reported many. This is simple a difference of opinion, stop trying to imply it is something that is isnt. Stand down mate.

No, I think it is solid gameplay, once the safe zone is removed I hope they bring it back. NQ see it differently, i am cool with that.

Other thing could be that player made markets are coming soon, so they might be putting effort into that, which in turn will solve the problem at the markets. Hoping they get rid of buy bots at the same time.

In which case I think you need to pay more attention to people replies, I CLEARLY said in a previous post - if they did not use exploits and just claimed the tiles and moved the ship it is no problem, if they used other exploits then different story. Do yourself a favour, read posts, and reply to the content of them, dont just keep repeating yourself.

Not really, GTA is an old game in a completely different genre, Cyberpunk is a new, much hyped releasing an a similar genre to DU (although single player). I would agree that cyberpunk will hit the playerbase more than GTA.
