    Im against this, mostly because this is how it works today, you are not taking in 500 more years of innovation. I drive a fork truck for a living, there are also already gps/robotic fork trucks, so if we already have that.......why now just do the pipe method, or a transporter beaming them from one ship to another.

    I could see marijuana making the ark ship it has a lot of medical uses, plus the other uses like hemp plastics, and other hemp products. Plus its a good non addictive pain medicine.

    I am going to have to agree with CaptainTwerkmotor, why would we outlaw it? we are the ones that make the laws and rules etc in this game, so a few groups might make it contraband, but there are going to be a lot that don't

    well there are a lot more than radar for sensors already in use, I can't even imagine what futuristic sensors would consist of, or how good they would work. it might be something as easy as looking for "exhaust" or light displacement.

    I can see something like this in the start zone around the ark ship, then there is no taking over etc.... Also there will be centers like this to bring traders, and buyers together, He said in the interview that when you buy something you still need to get it from the sellers location, which will make centers like this more popular for merchants etc... Also as a place later on other planets, the community would hopefully help defend them since it is a commerce center.

    IMHO I honestly think the combat is not going to happen yet, they are probably still just focusing on getting the elements in there, look at the video they released with him going to the space station, everything you would need to show combat, was placeholders for the real thing. so hopefully showing more on building,. and showing those are working customization screens would be cool. Don't get me wrong I would love to see some combat footage, i just think its a bit to early for them to have it in yet.

    The problem with this pact, is the same problem we have with our Geneva Convention, rules of war. there are always loopholes, and countries that will break the rules. Take the Vietnam war, and the rules on treating POW's who enforced those rules??? no one! so you would have the same problem here if a very powerful Organization breaks this rule, a lot of smaller ones not at war with them, will not want to risk their assets to help punish them. I think its a great idea, but I don't think it will work.

    The problem with emp, our current military has their systems shielded from emp damage.

    I agree the wrist thing should be able to do this once you learn the skill etc to do it, like the dev post avout the indestructible metal.... So lets say i dont have that skill, but have a great mining skill and you sell me the meshes to refine it..... Now that is one reason to have this kind of system, and at the same time have the nano device do it, once you have the skill to do so
