  1. ah true, you didnt exactly say they were, my bad
  2. I dont think NQ will let players dig deep enough to hit any sort of magna core, more like digging 1km down and thats it (I just pulled that distance out of my head). I dont see the need of going to all the trouble of modeling a seismic world, that could pose a severe strain on the server, to create an effect (earthquakes) that could damage constructs and piss off the player base. I see this idea generally as a lose-lose proposition.
  3. NQ has said several times that there wont be any NPC's.
  4. Pretty sure most of that will be done by players.
  5. Go round up some cows, load them aboard and head into deep space then
  6. Just make a big 'ship' and cover it in dirt. This will be doable by the release of the game.
  7. I want to shoot frozen chickens.... those things are lethal !
  8. Ah ok, then maybe you should have written something like "There's no need to be intimidated but people should also not be ignorant about this. " to avoid confusion Thx for clarifying
  9. I said : "I am not intimidated by,,,,,," and hence I am also not ignorant of 'big orgs' - you are good at spinning things to say something that was never said..... And big orgs are, generally, 'easier' to survive in than smaller orgs, so my comment still holds true. Organisation org members to achieve results is valid, and optimal, however dosn't necessarily imply a large org. either. (think Rocks and Kings since you have played Eve). So organisation of members to achieve goals quickly is one key of a successful org, this however doesnt mean that the org needs to be 'big'. Especially considering the size of the current universe, and systems to come after it.
  10. Im not intimidated by big orgs which may/maynot control all the resources. Nor their ships nor number of grunts at their disposal. I pity them. They take the easy path - how boring! You cant really die in game and all your core items (construct blueprints and quanta) stay with you. Im sure i will crash n burn, often, but will grow stronger every time. So for you who are afraid to die I say: toughen up, be bold, and see what mayhem may come your way - live on the edge, you will never feel more alive!
  11. NQ has said that the early backers will get some of the items given in the new packs. Not sure if details have been released on who gets what. Check out the news section.
  12. The chick in the logo sure has big boobies. It is a chick, isn't it?
  13. Or just have the option to right click on a construct, have a menu option of "About" that when clicked on shows the builder of an item and the blueprint name that created the item. That way the more items that are in the world the better the 'advertising' for them and greater the sales. Simple, elegant, no server lag, and multiple points of advertising.
  14. Welcome aboard Have a good look through the forums and the question and answer section as lots of topics and ideas have already be floated
  15. Welcome aboard mate, will see you in game soon
  16. I dont know ARK, but ARK is just one world isnt it? DU will be several, over (eventually) many many solar systems, I dont see how any org could do that, no matter how big.
  17. Quite true, however, having non automated mining will still reduce the whole resource rich environment - and resource slaves will get sick of being used like that and do other things in the game. There will still be large orgs in game, thats the nature of things, nothing you can do about that - just like in real life
  18. not to mention its only a few days old, posted on a weekday when most forum participants only look at the forum on weekends - assuming they arent in-game participating, which is becoming more and more common as the game unfolds.
  19. Keeping mining a manual task will help in reducing the 'unlimited resource' issue you mention above.
