    its the same thing, something a construct cant kill, but theres a purpose to killing such a creature rather than just for drops like in traditional mmo's

    Exactly. I think it will be possible to do so, but NQ wants us to use vast amounts of firepower for such a project so that people could "evacuate" and fight back instead of mining inside the planet and chilling at a bar and suddenly re spawned at another Resurrection node :/

    Honestly i think the big "surprise" du is working on with the 7000$ backers is to have an alien invasion way later on in the game where everyone from the arkship has to work together

    I hope you can shut those radio signal off <3 i dont want to hear a 12 year old bragging on the radio how his 10 meter hoverbike is superior to a destroyer or cruiser and getting all mad when people dont like him lol.

    In the beginning ti will give the backers the advantage of getting away from the new players and not interfering with their learning, sure but in the relative future i think these alpha/beta ships will just be more of prestige items to show off that you played for so long and if its a good item you can claim you did the best design in alpha and compete with other alpha players on whos idea was the best for its time.
