  1. speaking of death. 42, the answer to life and everything, if you split it in 4 and 2, then translate them to Japanese and put them back together, translate it back to English, you have solved the riddle: "to die". The one inevitably thing life faces in existence.
  2. ... And take over the world!
  3. Hotel California Flight Services. Passengers do board, but don't depart.
  4. pssst, hey, Hades. C'mhere! Go stand on this platform. Just keep standing there, alright? What? Why did I build four tall pillars of upside down gravity generators? Don't ask such silly questions, just keep standing there while I flip this big red switch from a safe distance.
  5. >JC toying with Gravity Generators. No JC! Don't do it! >Looks over at Keen Software This is all your fault!
  6. exploit? Try this one: "hello player in safe zone. Nice base. Let me put a box around it with basic mats. You'll get access if you pay me x amount ingame resource y." Or that one falls under 'how do I get banned'... Barely ever can tell the difference.
  7. I work in Phone Tech Support. What's your profession?
  8. I'd like to update my statement made on page 1: A turret could be designed to have 2 states, manned or unmanned, and one state could draw more power than the other. Also, a construct that wants static auto defences needs a core targeting computer.
  9. in Space Engineers you got a jump-drive. Very Battlestar Galactica like. You can do one of two things with it: >Blind jump >Jump to coordinate. This is not such a weird way of exploring, blind jumps. But space is big, like, REALLY big. So if we first have to thruster our way to these stars before being able to plant a node for others to jump to, we'll have to wait years (perhaps even more than a decade) before dedicated explorers find another star system.
  10. I see no reason -NOT- to build a space viking ship.... Like in the comic STORM

This, right here. Make it a non-safe zone so no major corp can hog it all and monopolize. Park some scoopers on the side of the base to suck up the winds, gathering up the raw materials, change it to fuel, ship it off world for trade. Fuel will be highly sought after, a treasure trove like that wouldn't be too crazy.
  12. great addition! Though, I can imagine during project meetings some of his sentences might start to often with "yeah well, what we did with EvE was..." Which might on some nerves. Hehehehe.
  13. I love it. I feel, from the videos and promotion material currently released, we do lack more organic building blocks. I want to build my oriental style dojo with Zen garden.
  14. something about not wanting weapons of mass destruction. Although, knowing gamers, we'll find a way. You hear me, NQ? WE'LL FIND A WAY! *mad laughter*
  15. I'm always surprised when people think it's odd that an MMO asks for subscription. There are numerous benefits to sub a service you, as player, expect to work 24/7 as is. Benefits, such as: > an actual professional customer service > ingame GMs > decent servers > constant updating and adding new content. > Less chance of spammers, griefers, bots and the like. People are spoiled by Steam and likewise services. They see the swat of money DU has garnered, but don't realize how fast that money dries up. Especially with an ambitious project like this.
  16. ...you noticed a shadow organisation is active near you. Members are not officially on their roster, but you know they infiltrate other orgs, cuddle up and smile... and then at the right time, gentle whisper in your ear "Hail Hydra~" Join the DU version of Hydra or resist?
  17. hang on, what's the difference between a physical slider and sliders? Also, once you have rotors you have hinges and pistons. Especially with rails. A piston is basically a tube with a shaft in it, however you push the shaft out of the tube can be thought of in many ways. Rotor that spins a large wheel can have another rotor near the edge. Then you have a rotor on the back end of the shaft and connect the two rotors with each other by another shaft. As the disk spins the shaft moves through the tube like you see with steam engines (but with reversed mechanics, of course). And with that, I've said 'shaft' just enough times to keep this post PG13
  18. Hmn, interesting, I'd advice to contact https://support.dualthegame.com and be as detailed as possible, including screenshots and all. Their reply rate is fairly fast!
  19. I had the same error. From what I've gathered is the following reasons: 1. busy traffic 2. if you're trying to use a mail address as a sign in it fails 3. you should sign in with username but be aware that username is case-sensitive.
  20. Playing tennis with two planets: > Large giant tower up into the atmo on both planets > time correctly to move an object in path of tower 1 > Gets slammed and thrown towards tower 2 > Meanwhile tower 1 gets repairs done as tower 2 smacks the object back at tower 1. LET THE SPESS-TENNIS GAMES BEGIN!
  21. From the videos currently released about the game, I haven't seen any rotors or hinges, let alone seperate moving objects. I doubt it right now, but the game is far from done so... who knows if we'll have mechs!
  22. GOT EM!... was indeed case sensitive for username. I tried signing in with mail account but this resulted in the same error. Tried again with username and this was a success.
  23. Ah, of course, could've thought of that myself. Yes, alright, I'll check in tomorrow and see whats up.
  24. I've once seen this before with creating organisations, where the person clicked one page back and proceeded back forward and noticed the org was already created. It won't let me sign in on dualthegame.com at all despite being possible to sign in on the forums and elsewhere. I've tested this in both Firefox and Edge. The support page sadly has no subjects on the matter. I'm not sure if there's a limit to how many packs there are but it would be very sad for folks like Warlord and me to mis out due to a website error. Submitted a ticket. I, myself, work for tech support so I know how importaint it is to file tickets and be precise in order to prevent this for others.
