  1. You see the city as something not on a planet but on a flying cube... Meru! Classy, yet easy. So you wish to have gravity generators that powerful? A planet can be 200 km large or more... It's technologically impossible. But reactors why not. I thought you could use the planet's gravity field to get somewhere easily just by not falling into the planets' atmosphere (with lateral reactors), as done for the Martian rover to get to Mars.
  2. It becomes more and more interesting, the more topics of this kind we have. I haven't thought about that. First we talk about breeding different kind of species, now the possibility to land onto a toxic planet (beware too have enough oxygen not to die when terraforming). You have various ideas then but it seems complex, and could be great for specific planets (surprise mthfckr!) but not for all of their kind, otherwise there won't be any surprise at all. I kindda would like NQ to update the planets to get to find new ones like that without them telling us (and also other secret things for players to find themselves), the MMOs nowadays are too straightforward and give you all the necessary infos at the beginning, that's boring. We want freedom and all its fears and hazards.
  3. I wouldn't take services of such an org. Too risky I may say. But it seems a good idea, mercenary cops, it just seems like the US coming to help some citizenship in order to take their money (kindda but don't we talk about it directly).
  4. I had this exact idea when visiting NQ. Someone in the staff said to me it would be possible to do by marking the field with points of passage. It could be the same way by implementing gates in which the spacial train would get through during its round I suppose. Though hover engines are supposed to be used for low level (not in the air).
  5. Thanks. I've read your signature and I agree totally. Your post is so clear and yet a little long I could read it all along without feeling any boredom. I personally think that it shouldn't be as easy as in Minecraft, that game is purely a minimal game, focusing into simplicity, while DU is focusing on freedom, then complexity. It should be difficult to raise animals. I would prefer if we wouldn't know how to do it (well we know the actions but not the process) and the breeding would differ from one environment to another, and even more from a planet with life to another (of course planets shouldn't all be with life on it, but migrating animals from a planet to another, or even creating hybrids of any types should be cool, I mean even though the chances to get a new species would be thin).
  6. You actually need to build your own weapon, but the power will be limited, you can't reach as much power as you'd want otherwise it would be the mess. There will first be personal weapons released, then spaceship weapons.
  7. Interesting yeah I thought about something like that too. Should be funny, particularly if you don't see it coming. I remember how it looked in Interstellar ; easy to make yet stupefying, like a simple soap bubble.
  8. I think the cube unit implemented in any structure, movable or static, permits to have a gravity field inside of the structure that permits to walk as on earth The last part I didn't get a word, too sophisticated.
  9. I totally agree. You buy DACs but it's not like you own them, it's like IRL, you need to save them in order to get something, it's part of the game... It's pretty hardcore but it's like that I would like the game to be. And this is not breaking any law, as long as the user agrees with the EULA. The economic system will be richer will lootable DACs, of course with the possibility to store them. Imagine you steal someone's DACs he has on him and want to take them back to your safe place, you still possibly be chased, it's a way of creating conflict, and fun. For me, paying for DACs is like to bet, you bet you will be good enough to begin a good investment.
  10. I just went in mmorpg. This website is purely in the past! It looks like a 2000's forum. Old gits in there. Yeah it just goes steadily now it's okay I'm sure it will reach the 500k. However it's still not enough, we need to make our envious game envious to others. And it's 360k now.

  14. For the moment in the build they have totally fixed elements for static stations (they don't move). Though it won't be the same after, I think they will rotate around the most powerful (gravitationally speaking) planet. Still a major question we want answered by the CM.
  15. Actually it is the way it is. The CM said that, part of your items are destroyed, the other part lootable. but you need to find places to protect your things..

  18. Hello, BohrElias. I've seen some narrow-minded git wishes to attracts you to his ranks. Don't listen to him, you're not bound to your brother. Every org needs to be considered, and only those connected to the CSYN (watch out, BOO are ploting with the CSYN too). Take the Empire for example, or other empires, we all plan a great future for our citizens and privates.

  22. Yes, and the one-time use gates should be the small ones only for people to get into (limited number).
