Novean-61657
We got the announcement of the 'announcement' on April the 14th, 2022. It's now May 15th, 2022. A month has gone by, and NQ has effectively not been able to come to a decision on how to wipe their game. Is this a lack in leadership (capabilities) or is this just a hail Mary were NQ wants to keep their (paying) customers as confused as possible, for as long as possible? If NQ can't come to a decision in a month, and we got confirmation two days ago that they were still 'discussing' it at the office from a YT podcast by official sources. Do you think they can come to a decision in two months? Six months? Twelve? Then how much more time until actual implementation? Meanwhile our subscriptions are being eaten by a DU that's just not persistent as was advertised. How long can such a situation last before it's completely irreversible? This is not a thread about wipe or no wipe, this is about the lack of decision making. So we're taking bets on when the actual wipe or no-wipe happens and when that decision will be made. Place your bets here! #SchrödingersDU Creator
Gottchar
Assuming they want to wipe, they would want to A: do it with the release B: not annouce it long before the actual wipe, as that would mean even fewer people play. So if the release is planned for eg october, and they want to wipe then, it is a good idea to not tell us already. If they had decided on not wiping however, they would have told us. So, we can take their silence as a yes. Doombad

As I've said before, NQ knows hey will wipe and roughly when. There may be some factors still not set in stone, but they know when they plan to release an dthey know how they wil lhandle the lead up to that release, which I have no doubt wil linclude a partial wipe. The problem here is that NQ totally fails at communicating and seems so disconnected at this point they just do not know how to communicate the plan towards release and are their usual self in waiting until the very last moment. MEanwhile , anyone with half a brain knows a wipe is coming and the only sensible fomr of that is a partial one, where talent points and blueprints for the constructs your are either cerator for or which are DRM free are retained. If NQ was not planning a wipe, they woudl have said so by now as ther is absolutely no a single reason I can think of to not make that announcmeent. So from that, the conclusion a wipe is going to happen is very reasonable an least and the worst part of that is NQ seemingly being oblivious to this.. Creator
I agree with blaze, I think it is a scheme to milk customers for as long as possible, and I find the dishonesty repulsive. Doombad

Personally, I find this disrespectful and unprofessional. merihim

There is clear anger on the forums this week (some of it is mine) about the subject. Allowing that anger to build right up to October sounds like a recipe for a flop-launch to me because a lot of players will have hit breaking point and walked away before the announcement even happens. If, on the other hand, people know in advance they will probably stop playing but a lot will plan to come back for the release.

At the release there will be so much changes in design that most of the blueprints will be useless. Now is the radar change ( which was not a planned one- neither we had any information about it ), next is the brake change maybe which havent been applied yet (but we somehow have been informed ) , and then who knows ...something else will be obstructed. maybe your retros adjustors and so on... The game is still in progress so.
