Garson28 Posted January 19, 2021 Posted January 19, 2021 Does anyone know what happens to underground caves after mining. I mine resources and there are huge holes in the ground. The planet will look like cheese with holes in some time.
Daphne Jones Posted January 19, 2021 Posted January 19, 2021 It will look like hairy swiss cheese because of all the holes and all the spikes going up to AGG platforms.
Deintus Posted January 19, 2021 Posted January 19, 2021 One time digging for tier 3 ore, I followed a ping and suddenly fell into a large cavern. Turns out the ping was a few leftover scraps. Yea... Fun times... Aaron Cain 1
Aaron Cain Posted January 19, 2021 Posted January 19, 2021 are natural caves still a thing on sanctuary? didnt see one yet

Garson28 Posted January 19, 2021 Author Posted January 19, 2021 what is the mechanics - does the ore renew, regenerate? will there be a shortage of ore on the planet in the future ?
CptLoRes Posted January 19, 2021 Posted January 19, 2021 Nope, no kind of ore respawning and all landscape changes are permanent. Hence the Swiss cheese reference. NQ claimed it would take years to mine even a small fraction of the ore, but reality seem to have shown otherwise. Especially on some of the outer planets and moons.
