  1. I'm having microphone issues at the moment, so there'll be no voice chat for me for a while, at least until I get a new mic
  2. Here's a question, what other games do you lads play? If we've got something in common, I'd be happy to join ye.
  3. I swear, if conversations don't begin soon, I will erupt with popcorn.
  4. I'd love to collaborate, as I stated on your previous thread. Count me in! My only limitation is my (limited) access to different instruments and plugins for FL Studio.
  5. I've been learning to play music by ear for pretty much my entire life. I couldn't tell you straight up what key on a piano is C, not after thinking for a half a minute or so, but I could digitally compose you a Piano melody that I've been told is top notch. I'd be happy to collaborate I use FL Studio 12 and a keyboard on the side to compose. I'm still learning of course, everything I know is (literally) self taught.
  6. An interesting idea. I actually suggested this exact idea a while ago. I hope something like this comes into play, as I fear my current knowledge of coding may not be enough.
  7. Welcome to the forums! I'm equally excited for this game, if not more. It does look great, doesn't it.
  8. Seeing as us players are in charge of shaping the economy, society and pretty much, the entire universe, I'm not surprised if we are also charged with creating a currency(s) that will need to be universally accepted. Each faction may end up with their own currency. I'm guessing that the largest organizations and factions will take the lead with the economy, meaning me may end up with 3-4, perhaps less, perhaps more, different currencies to deal with. A single unit of anyone of these currencies need to be worth the same as a single unit of another, that or we'll need conversion rates. My Mars dollar needs to be able to buy the same amount of Mars lollipops as my Jupiter Dollar did. Otherwise, some currencies will be worth more than others, which is what is happening here on Earth already. The EUD is worth $1.47 AUD, and so on. All things to keep in mind.
  9. I seriously am hoping you continue to post new ones for a very, very long time. When the game launches, we're going to need this
  10. A bit of both, and you're very welcome
  11. Beginning of 2017, to be exact. Welcome to the forums!
  12. Welcome aboard, lad. This forum is indeed a rather nice place, compared to previous communities I've been part of,
  13. You are most welcome! I'm not sure if you can actually get in trouble for using such a large font, but it's usually safer to use something less 'out there'. Anyway, welcome to the forums!
  14. Crowd funding, or a kickstarter program, if you will, is said to start at the end of this year. After that, a playable alpha beginning of 2017. Usually, crowd funders get in early enough to test out the game in order to get rid of a few more bugs before the game hits the markets. In other words, you, and everyone else for that matter, have to wait until then for alpha testing I'm not 100% sure on this, but it's been floating around. So I wouldn't take my words as a solid confirmation.
  15. Everyone has different taste. There's no final answer to this question. Some ships may sell more than others, for sure. However I think you are going to have to wait until the game launches to find out which ones do. (Unless you get everyone on the forums to post images of their favorite ships)
  16. Once everyone have their own ships and bases, there is no doubt going to be some sort of long distant communication. Most likely, you'll need to research the technology required and work towards constructing it. My guess is, there will be voice chat in-game, with no other programs required. However everyone will probably use Teamspeak anyway. If not voice chat, a global and local chat makes sense too. However It doesn't make sense for you to be able to talk with someone half a universe away when this game is based on emergent gameplay.
  17. Welcome to the forums! I wish you luck with your organization. If you don't mind me giving a little advice, I would add a little more information about your faction. Anyhow, welcome once more and good luck!
  18. *MasteredRed walks out* *As soon as the door closes, the disco lights go on, speakers blow up with the latest hits from LY102.3 Radio, Popcorn and Doretos fly everywhere* *Everyone starts booty dancing with their pants off*
  19. Probably because your net is slow and you spammed the button a few times before it finally responded. That or something else.
  20. Thank you for the invitation. I look forward to the future, whatever it may hold.
  21. Welcome aboard. This game does look excellent, doesn't it. Let's hope it becomes everything we hope for.
