NQ, are you removing shopping bots from T1?
Wyndle replied to Messaline's topic in General Discussions
If the bot buy orders are missing and you don't like the prices on the buy orders then set a sell order. Not a solution to fixing it for NQ, but a workaround that can keep you moving while waiting for a fix. If your ore doesn't sell fast enough you can run missions and challenges to pay taxes. -
It is entirely possible that the announcement had a typo, but I expect either an STU or a clearly visible, public correction to the communication and a sincere apology.

I got an email saying it was delivered but still not there.

I could easily see someone putting a factory at 500m off the ground with a pile of ships stacking up on the ground below. Player1: Hey, is that Sham's Pyramid? Player2: No, that's a pile of ships that has been stacking up since day one. -
Not sure where you got that image. NQ has removed all signs of the pledge page. I did see an official NQ post that said:

So a small number of exceptions now disproves all claims of something being a problem? If anything it proves they have attempted to make it happen before saying they couldn't get it to work well enough to give to us. -

But could they release only the space version of XL and not get slaughtered in "where's my *" backlash? -
I agree. If I had to guess the chocolate from the DRM protection got mixed into the peanut butter of the dynamic properties.

From a reduce, reuse, recycle mindset it makes perfect sense. It is causing a harmful consequence in this case and should be moved into a separate system or property category.

Do we really need the old planets back or is the game more buzzing?
Wyndle replied to Honvik's topic in General Discussions
I condensed both terms into one as the ships have both AGG and three Territory Scanners. I suspect the increase in grind has deterred many from continuing to play, some who pre-paid for longer periods even. The ones who are on the fence currently will be dipping out after a couple of ship losses, more so if the ship is destroyed a few times while parked on a planet. -
THE FUTURE OF DUAL UNIVERSE - Discussion thread
Wyndle replied to NQ-Wanderer's topic in General Discussions
Yes, but it's just shy of all out war for the resources just to craft the purple and/or glowing voxels and those are on the lowest tier of materials for ships going out into the depths of space. If you want a T3 or higher element then you're either fighting someone or paying the forwarded cost of PvP in the market. -
The concept of the asteroids is fine, but the practical outcome is far from fine. The safe spawns are drained of value before they move out of middle column and you have to be lucky to be heading in the direction of the spawn before it shows up on the list to beat the big orgs to it. From a distance it looks like a colony of ants ripping apart a picnic. Even adding back in the planets we had in Beta will not be nearly enough to support a vibrant economy with the way the heat maps are dispersed. The resources are now easy for a single player to lock down in minutes once found. And if NQ puts the other planets in with a significant amount more ore it will further skew the problem into the red zone. IMO, the only viable solution from our current situation is multiple solar systems with various sizes of safe zones (including none).

Thades may not have much action but I'm seeing more AGG scanners around where my AGG scanner is running than I'd like. The number of Alpha and Beta players compared to total population at 15 months will give a better feel for just how well the game is doing than current numbers. Right now we're losing tons of people who saw near end Beta game footage and thought they'd walk into more than what was left after the wipe. The real test is when all these 13+ month pre-paid players have to decide if they're willing to continue paying from that point forward. -

I've been to M6 when all of the market terminals on the elevator sides of the building were in use and I had to actually walk to a set of terminals on the side of the building. And that row wasn't empty on either side to boot. -
I lost nothing because I expected a wipe for launch before they told us no wipes during Beta and cemented once they did the first wipe during. If they had more manpower I would expect at least a little more communication. For the size of team they have I'd say they've pulled off a miracle to get this far. I don't want to throw any stumbling blocks in their path but that would require we see a roadmap to know what their path is.

Sounds like a good reason to introduce exploration tools and additional solar systems with a spectrum of different amounts of safe space.

Please NQ, add a cosmetic/skin cash shop and use the increased funds to expand your team. My vote would be to first hire someone with industry experience in UI design and a close second for a dedicated PCVR dev. This is a win-win-win scenario for all of us.

bug Weird Bug Parked Ship Getting Destroyed
Wyndle replied to Uruskan's topic in General Discussions
It happened to me once so far. Came in for a landing, hovered to a parking spot, and when I got out of my seat I saw a lag-addled wave of elements exploding and my ship was instantly at 3km altitude and climbing. It peaked at ~90km and landed 0.83su away from my parking spot.- 7 replies

Anyone else can't complete Air Challenge since server up today?
Wyndle replied to Wozzmatic's topic in General Discussions
Just tested myself, cannot interact with the teleport pad. Cannot even inspect it. @NQ-Deckard Edit: No element related context menu. I can see the model but the context is no different than aiming at honeycomb. -

Please give a little more detail about the situation. Does Aphelia tell you to exit but the door isn't open? Is one or more of your deliveries not counted? The delivery count can be broken if you move or stack items inside the delivery container, so don't touch anything in that box after putting it there. -
The Aphelia market intentionally obfuscates seller names if I recall prior dev conversation on the topic correctly. Orgs and individuals are capable of placing dispenser shops where the owner of the dispenser is visible. Some may choose to have internal org only dispenser with discounts or even listed at cost.

The patch notes for today listed multiple tutorial and challenge fixes, including you can now change the control scheme (keyboard, mouse, joystick).
