I would go ahead and send the team a message and see, if you backed by Kickstarter, that is generally a binding thing once it has completed (but I have never tried to get a refund from them, so who knows). I can't say whether you will have any luck or not mate, but give it a shot.

Welcome to the community mate, good to see another on board!

Welcome to the forums, mate...

I believe you are correct, after the initial release of the organizations and the flurry of new members, the numbers started plateauing.
If NQ released a statement, information or anything else on the game, the numbers would bounce slightly.
That being said, drama also stirred the pot. -
The wiki should be based on the mechanics, the core gameplay and anything that could be recorded to help new players or old players alike out.
With a game that has infinite amounts of player created content from structures to ships to communities I don't think it is a viable option to have all the player driven content recorded on a Wiki.

Hi all,
sorry for the lack of updates on these charts, I have been extremely busy in the real world (that exists, I always forget) with studying, finding work, etc, etc.
I had come to a conclusion that these charts weren't great enough and stopped whilst I was ahead. Mainly due to the fact that I was unable to stay on top of input, reading and looking through it all. It got fairly hectic for a time and I had to take a forced break.
Though, with the possibility of Alpha coming along soon, I am thinking about starting up again, anew. As this gives me the chance to better watch the alpha through release stages of growth.
I suspect that the data will be greatly affected by the ability to play the game, seeing as real dynamics within Organizations will be used, seen, heard or abused.
So, keep watching this space, the charts will be coming back soon.- Code24, MinerMax555, devu and 6 others

I have been extremely busy with real life things and the likes lately, unfortunately, my gathering methods were rather lack luster and the changes made things harder. Good to see these projects are still up and running though! These are always really neat to read into and look at.
I may or may not come back into the charts on a less aggressive level (i.e, weekly instead of daily), it was getting rather tedious.
But, that being said, good work, again.

For in-game orgs there won't be a hard limit either because it's self-limiting. No need in any way for some random mechanic.
I don't want a hard cap on the amount of organizations, I want a mechanic like most other games have where people can make one organization and have that, instead of being able to own multiple and join multiple. I thought that maybe a hard cap p/player would be more beneficial in the long run than having the ability to make a few per character.
Because at the moment, thats the way its built.
Though, as it still states on the community site, the current organizations are only provisional and the system hasn't been changed in a while, so who knows. NQ might have a different theory to any of us.

Just out of faith that this isn't some odd troll,
no, there isn't 'too many' organizations.
Yes, there are a lot of one and two man orgs, but a lot of other games have the same thing where people will go make a guild or group with one or two friends, plus, the current sytem is actually generally more for reserving your organization names and getting your groups together and ready. If those many low member orgnizations come back around, they'll more than likely fold in with the masses, but always expect a lot of organizations, really.
I don't think limiting it any way at this stage is beneficial (except particular cases), in-game is different.

Can you find out how many of those have pledged? That might be closer to the real number of players
I have a breakdown of the numbers for you now!
Iron Founders: 67 Members
Bronze Founders: 32 Members
Silver Founders: 136 Members
Gold Founders: 308 Members
Sapphire Founders: 54 Members
Ruby Founders: 104 Members
Emerald Founders: 11 Members
Diamond Founders: 1 Member
Kyrium Founders: 1 Member
Total Founders On Forum: 714 Members
Total Forum Numbers 'Unpledged': 4286 Members
Now, of course, these numbers are probably ever changing, but at 5,000 forum members, that's about how we're looking.

I will have a look into it.

This is a neat and yet, I wonder how it will all work, in-game anyway. It will be intriguing to see how many people use this service as it may become very vital or it may not.
The idea is interesting, and I bid you good luck.

The forum community hit another small milestone today, as the member number hit 5,000!
I'm sure these aren't all unique accounts, but hey, the communities still growing and that's great.
Let's just keep the ideas, the news and the interest spreading so D.U. can be a great game with a grand community!

This is extremely well done, Void. I can't wait to see how this all pans out for you and the website as it will be an extremely valuable tool after some time. Within being able to see where ties lie and otherwise!
I really do hope that NQ adds some form of 'alliance' level dictation to organizations to allow even further depth, but as it stands, great job mate and keep it up!

These are quite nifty!
Nice work, and very well done from scratch. -

I'm glad you guys posted this, as they appeared out of nowhere. Three days ago, not even on the radar, two days ago, 40 characters and now yesterday, 65.
Whilst there has been huge growth spurts before, this is beyond anything, bar Frogswarm popping up (although, they are legitimate and all signed up in a week!).
I will do a little digging, but if it is considered an org that is a single member by majority, I will not acknowledge it in my charts or otherwise.
As for a solution to the problem, I can't think of one that doesn't require intervention.
