If it's a xs or s ship just use lots of scrap and find out the hard way.
Oh and, remember, Thades atmosphere is measured from.the bottom of the crater, not the "surface".

I'm sure I watched a video with a guy who's ship wouldn't fly well, with a script, until he had lowered his engines out of the voxels more?
Here it is:

I scanned about 50 tiles on Madis Moon 1. I found no high tier ore. The scans took, with travel time, about 15 hours. Worse I spend another 10 hours chasing 5 false positives. So this is the first game, in the 35 years I play video games, that I spend 25 hours on and accomplishing absolutely nothing.
At the current state, mining 10 million blocks with a stone axe in minecraft is more fun and rewarding than mining in DU.
Moons are bad. Proof; every planet has at least one node of t1 present, per ore, per hex. Sometimes more than 1.
T3 about 1 every 15-20 hexes, on average, on Alioth (may differ on other planets).
Moons have 1 t1 about very 2 or 3 hexes.
You can then imagine how hard it is to find t3 on a moon.

What this dyng fire requires is a Daphne grenade to put it out.
I do feel for you Daphne, forced at gunpoint to play a game with explicit open world pvp in it. Especially one with extensive safe zones where you can sit tutting to your heart's content.

I was thinking that the solution to market lag was more markets, more spread out with concentric rings of ore nodes of increasing amounts of ore (low near markets, increasing in a couple of steps up to full). To discourage settling near markets.

People need to learn that you can "lose" and still have fun. having fun does not mean you always win.
Most fun I had in Elite Dangerous Non-PVP (PVP was the Code destroying two anti Code groups in an ambush of their pvp training session) was getting my buggy trapped in a crevasse and spending 2 hours getting it out.
The act of building a ship will stimulate me enough. Who cares what happens to it afterwards?
The fate of glass is to break.

I never called anything but my own possible assumption stupid. A small but significant difference.
I'd wished you'd called out the "Anyone spending too long in Dual Universe is socially stunted and/or incapable" assumption instead, but you do you, I guess.

Was the outpout out of links perhaps?
Try slamming down two brand new crates and see if it links to them correctly to eliminate the link count issue.
Wilco.

Couldn't get my new metalwork to connect properly to the desired input and output containers. Just wanted to be connected wrong, regardless of how it was linked.
Tried asking on discord, never got a response.

The unanswered question proves my point.
Its my opinion. It may not be yours.
What ever is the reason why ppl spends hours in this game, i have a feeling its not gunna help their "civilization building" skills.
And i still think NQ needs to give up on this lazy non interference overview and start thinking very seriously in guiding mechanics.
It was answered. That you dont like the answer is a different thing. I prefer a positive outlook. I dont know of your negative viewpoint of human behaviour is affecting your ability to socialise though. I wouldn't make such a stupid assumption.

So why do those ppl dedicate massive daily hours to DU instead of paying attention to their families and RL activities?
I dont know, they don't tell me anything.
Look, I realise you think that question was a laser like burst of ultimate truth or proof or whatever, but it really isn't.
Some people have x amount of free time due to individual circumstances too myriad to list. Sometimes it's their only free time interest, sometimes like me, they get an hour a two a day - if that.
Also, It's also worth saying that playing for longer than this =/= no social skills. The only thing it proves without doubt is that, for the moment, they have a lot of free time.
Also, also, a lot of these people are communicating and socialising whilst playing, further making your point worthless.

Exceptions dont make the rule.
It was an example as the forum couldn't cope with listing every single exemption on the planet.
Not that I could give enough examples to change a fixed and limited, and if I may, bigoted outlook.
Most of the clans I've been in have been full.of mature individuals with families and employment which indicates a certain ability to socialise normally.

This serves to prove a point i tried to make in the past:
"Expect the worst of ppl"
Most ppl playing MMOs have some kind of problem with RL socializing.
Why would our kind of ppl be fitted to build a civilization without hard NQ
That guy who died who was head of diplomacy for the Meta PVPers and troublemakers Goons Squad in Eve was a real life, high level diplomat who, you'd assume was pretty good at real socializing.
Most people can separate their in game behaviour from real life because they can tell the difference between "play" and "life" unlike those who think they must be saintly everywhere regardless of the location or milieu which suggests a certain mental limitation masquerading as righteousness.

No. The fetch tool was not designed to be used that way.
If you do that, you will be banned from the game by NQ for exploiting a game mechanic in an unintended fashion ?Please explain how I can destroy someone else's core on my territory in 30 seconds... Sounds handy...
Love too, sounds like a idea I'd want to crash into at speed. Alas, I cant explain how to do an exploit.

Sanc was probably put there to split the players to help with lag at markets. Didn't work, mid.
-
I keep myself amused with thoughts of what this forum would look like if tree collision was still a thing.
I spent two hours humping a craft through a forest I'd crashed in because I was too far to walk home and my fetch was used up (and before you ask, no room in my inv to dissamble the craft (and no death penalty) force respawn home.)

Forethought and planning are prophylactics against unwanted behaviour. I prefer it this way to punishments and gave mechanics.

Not sure why it's made me a guest on my laptop. Doh.

"Usually". Go to discord (I know, right?) and try to get help.

You could copy the co-ords so we can find it it easily....

This will depend on the cross section of your ship. If it looks like a wall from the front, go slower.
