Finally, todays charts!

The growth over the past three to four days has been rather lackluster, but this is probably because there hasn't been a great amount of news or activity bring new members to the forums and thus to the community. With development in full swing though, I suspect that it shll not be long until we get some exciting developments. 

And with this, more people to join and speculate!

You are not first day on forum, but welcome anyway =)
 
Won't suggest organisations from your description, it is far too early =) Peacful organisations could become even worse than pirates, pirates could become builders and other. Don't forget big organisations contain ~90% unknown people who joined just to join =) Maybe I am wrong, maybe not. Time will show. But stay realist

Welcome to the community, you'll find an organization eventually! Plenty of time to find one between here and gameplay.

Not sure what organization would really fit your description. There are many large allied organizations who will maintain the peace in the universe  . The only org i can think of that fits your description is Frogstorm(i dont belive they recruit) or maybe B.O.O. 
Good Luck on finding your place in the ever growing community, 

Overall i really like this idea. However i do think that i would need a lot of balancing and fine-tuning to find that perfect amount days and so on. I wouldn't now where to start but if it becomes a function that real balanced i think it would be a awesome function.

Like others said dont worry about the kickstarter!
 
I myself could only afford the smallest kickstarter package so it feels like i "missed" it myself. So you me both can get what we need as soon as the new crowdfunding site opens up!

I clearly understand that many of active forum living in dreams. Dreams filled with peace and love, that is great, but reality could be (and I strongly believe it will) not so happy and peacful. Even from example, trader+pirate. I will be very surprised, if experienced and serious trade organisation will open doors to pirates.
 
We back again to pre-game dream or overall vision (which is dream as well) of Dev. I am 100% sure, massive majority of active organisations would be clan/guild structure.  
If compare real world and virtual one by agression parameter, real world is heaven. And I don't see any reason why it would be different in this game (especially in this game).

That is choice of players. If player want 100500 organisations, player can join them. If organisation do not want their members be in 100500 other organisations, player decide what is better to him/her.
 
Personally, I don't care about nationalities, clubs, orientations and other silly trash (which has nothing with main gameplay). But this can increase stupid unnecessary confrontation between players. I fully not interested in that.
If to speak about normal organisations, I can not trust anyone who is member of other organisation (unless agreements and discussions with leaders). Being member of multiple organisation allow to use knowledge, data, infrastructure or even resources for other organisation. It is fully unacceptable for me.
 
Personally, I don't see any reason to have members with free multiple organisation membership. I don't want waste hours (+I pay for this time) to monitor every member every day (or even often).
 
As was stated, there could be some excludings, like special trusted organisations, members of organisation or ranks.
 
So what we have in the end? Want multiple organisatiins and fun-clubs? Join one of them. Want organisation with serious plans, be ready sacrifice "freedom" (personally I can't say that, since that is personal choice and player can leave any time) and become part of this organisation. Choice, that is driver of freedom!
 
P.S: Simple example. Organisation found new planet. Create base on planet. Moved main infrastructure to this planet. Then one of multiple members create teleport (maybe even using organisation resources) and allow to use this teleport to all his organisations (by mistake, or joke, or trolling... whatever)... result, organisation get massive troubles. Especially if that was organised trolling or military operation. No thanks! Want to have technical security from something like that.

If I'm not wrong, NQ stated, players will have chance to be in many organisations at the same time (if I am wrong, please correct me).
I don't want to say it is wrong, just because it is wrong for my vision. It could be very great option for many other players.
 
So even in this stage there are two kind of people - who want see option to join multiple organisations and those who don't.
 
Following that, I find necessary option in organisation design (technical option, not just a rule):
Option to turn on/off multiple organisation join.
 
If it is on, every member can join any kind of organisation (in addition to current).
If this option is off:
-Nobody of members can't join any other organisation
-Member who already joined organisation can not be invited
-Member who is in multiple organisation (after switch off) will be marked in member list (so organisation leaders can sort it out, if necessary).
 
This is way to choose. As founder of one of the organisations, I don't want to spend hours for investigations every day.
 
There could be some excludings:
1. List of organisations
2. List of members
 
P.S: It does not break spying actions, but make it bit harder. So idea, as you can understand, does not forced against this kind of action.
 
I don't want to take possition of white or black, I want everyone (organisation) has option. If multiple membership is better for organisation A, this organisation can freely allow this. If this is bad for organisation B, this can be freely banned. Players will have option to choose where to join. Simple.

I think a lot of people found the game interesting enough to fund on kickstarter and now they are just waiting for the alpha/beta/release depending on package. I am quite sure that these will make an account sooner or later when they feel that they need. And like others pointed out, a lot of people only read, no reason to create a forum account if that is case.

Hello and welcome! Like your name because the movie (Project Almanac) although not the best one was right up my alley in terms of genre. 
 
Regarding the pay2play model i prefer it over anything else. Hopefully you will see the benefits of it and like Dual Universe enough to stay and since you will be playing in the Beta that means you will have enough DACs to really test the game out before you will have to start paying a subscription fee.
 
Wow it really feels like i trying to promote and defend the pay2play model.. Ah well guess i am  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Don't hate if i am blind but i cant seem to find any easy way to go to the community portal from the forums. In the community portal there is a menu where you can choose to go to the forums and devblog. Really missing this on the forums.
 
Also when i am already here making a topic about community portal i feel i need to mention this as well, please connect the databases between the forums and community portal. I have no idea why i have to log on more time to the community portal even though i am already logged in to the forums.
 
EDIT: Okay one more thing..    I already mentioned this before but i might as well again. I was able to change my display name on the forums to a 5 character display name. However my display name on the community is not allowed to be under 6 characters. I would really like to change this as well to a 5 character name.

Hi everyone! 

Considering todays post about BOO and the numbers of players in the top ten Orgs, 
I have decided to post my charts on here as well as Twitter. 

I forgot to place my name on them and now have, but figured seeing as it is fit, I would post them directly here as well, it's just been a little supervising side project of mine to see how the orgs and forums handled in posts, members, etc when the kickstarter came around as well as me just having a general interest in the numbers. 

So, I update the charts daily - with member orgs who have fallen off the top ten staying on there for up to seven days just in case they come back to the top.

Anyway, without rambling on too much longer. 
Have my charts. 
But stop asking for access, please, you won't get it, I'm just trying to provide consolidated data in a point for my own and others interest. 
 

 
The iframe isn't working currently, though I will post updates daily with images till I work it out, it may just be incompatible, I'm unsure.

Edit**: Fixed some colouring issues.

I really hope that we can get the CvC stretch goal by continuing the funding here. I currently only had money for the iron package (€15). But i will upgrade to the silver one for €60 at a later date if/when possible. Hopefully we can reach an additional 100k and they can add the CvC for release.
