    Pvpers are the emotionally disturbed and should be rooted out and exterminated with prejudice.

    I think you might mean 'uses'. 
     
    Some form of Minecraft's NEI or JEI mods or Factorio's FNEI mod would be very nice in Dual Universe.
     
    Here's an example from the FNEI page. Each of those icons can be clicked to view that item's recipe and uses.

    I see no reason why a civilization with such advanced hand-held tools should not have vastly more powerful construct based tools.
     
    I envision a mining ship with an x-ray vision mode that allows pinpointing of resource nodes from a km away underground, excavating a passage to the node, and mining it.
     
    Let's make it happen, NQ.
     
    Oh and also, resource nodes really should be a lot bigger in general. 10x the current minimum size as the new base minimum. Same resource count per hex, naturally.

    Yeah, there's a huge problem with constructs just randomly vanishing. Earlier I was surface mining my hex. Got about 600m away from my Void Cube base and when I re-approached, it was gone. Had to relog to get it to appear again...

    Pvp really doesn't make much sense in the ingame lore. Humanity escapes a destroyed home planet and comes to a new solar system to rebuild society. Where does conflict and self destruction help with that? Keep it to VR, if anything.
     
    Sociopathy and psychopathy are mental illnesses that should have been solved and completely removed from such a society.
     
    As Charlie Chaplin in the Great Dictator said, we should try to help each other; not profit from misery and despair.

    Use one of the translate hotkeys. Translation allows precise positioning of both elements and voxels while allowing free movement to see all angles.

    if you are not sure if you are in and out, you park on the edge simples.

    Just add a BIG RED SECTION down the centre of each market, if you land in that section you get a warning - SHORT STAY PARKING if your vehicle is left here for more than 4 hours it will be DELETED with all its contents, this leave the edges for longer term parking / marketing but the main section of the landing for proper short term parking.
     
    If some of these scruffy muppets lose some ship then there you go.
     
    Did you really hit a space station at 10km?  Was your radar broken or were you afk?

    I spent two hours cleaning up the bottom edge of a diagonal wall I copy pasted onto a flat floor (pop one tiny 45° slope block out, put it back in, rinse repeat). Why oh why did they have to 'triangle out' down there when the original was not that way?
     
    Every single time this happened, it wasn't about shared grid points, or how voxels work. It was about it trying to be fancy with something I didn't want it to be fancy with. Sometimes changing a neighboring couple blocks, when I placed a third in a diagonal away (the only common side was the corner point which should not have morphed).
     
    I keep looking for a toggle key to "Disable Magic Morphing Powers"...... but fail to find one. Judging by this thread, one does not exist, and really should exist.

    I hope this is true.
     
    After spending my first weekend in the game, it became horrifically apparent that crafting every color and texture combo for JUST IRON was a terrible experience to put even the slightest variation in color/texture in one wall of my house. Then the resulting pile of blocks in inventory (all iron), making inventory management even more difficult. I couldn't imagine down the line how bad that would be. Especially given that just trying to FIND the right material in the Krafter was a long list to try and scroll through.
     
    Granted they have the "Replace Voxel" tool which is very handy to change out whole chunks of one material to another material....
     
    But they definitely need to work on a "Surface/Style/Paint/Texture" tool which simply lets you change out the color/texture ID on a given material voxel. Can be done in both selection box style, and aimed one-by-one voxel.
     
    The lack of paint/texture tool is thus far my biggest worry with the style of the game.

    Agreed the honeycomb texture variety is super non-scalable. What happens when we want different colors besides just "red panel" or "glossy green"? Are they going to add hundreds of new honeycombs for every new texture they add in the game?

    It doesn’t matter what the PvP’ers want or what the PvE’ers want, it all comes down to what generates the most money for the game so it can continue to exist. If the PvP’ers are getting bored because people are staying in the safe zone, fight each other, stop trying to force everyone to your play style. End of story. Now, just opening a PvP thread every few days is not going to change anything, could have posted in the other 2625 threads about this that already exist that sank to the bottom of the forums for lack of interest.

    Why does so much space have to be given over to PvP? If most people hate PvP which is apparent because of the lack of it without PvP occurring, if you don't force people to PvP.
     
    As to PvP v PvE, ever seen a PvE pirate harass the same player? post the comments on a third party site? or for that matter complain about players being able to get better defences?

    Relaxed guys.
    I think regardless of what would be the best way, it will still be a long and rocky road to balance the game in all areas.
    Not only trading or mining needs revisions, but also pvp itself. Strictly speaking, everything still has to be adjusted or balanced.
    If the economy is not yet working properly in any area, there isn't really much you can do except wait until the individual points are further tinkered with.
    Trading, mining, piracy, building and everything else that is possible is all still under development.
    At the moment there is frustration with PVP for a number of reasons. If you make the change recklessly and remove the SafeZone, then the dealers will be frustrated .... So there is still a lot of work to do.
     
     
    Furthermore, it sounds to me that PVP can only consist of two fronts.
    Hunters and Traders ...
    If a lot of PVP horny hunters are waiting outside the safe zone, why don't they fight each other?
    Sounds for me only merchants get busted xD

    Hold on, if PvP is so highly loved by so many, surely there must be thousands of people feely engaging in PvP, as so many love it.
     
    Why do you need to force people into PvP if it is such a great thing?

    So, this happened because almost every half an hour I have to log out and log in again because the districts do not load. I am flying to a district and when I arrive there, there is nothing, no buildings. This keeps happening, that is why I have to log out, and when I log in again, the district is there. So this happened yesterday as well - there was no district, and I parked there somewhere. I intentionally parked a little away from the "M" marker but when I loaded the game - guess what? - I was stuck with ship and all INSIDE the district walls - so I could not get out.
    I force-respawned - and, lucky me - I respawned on the freakin MOON. I had forgotten from the tutorial that I had set a Res.Node on the bloody moon.
    So, there I had to WALK for hours to the nearest district so that I can shuttle back to Alioth - and I thought I will fetch my Ship somewhere outside - but NOPE --- I cannot fetch it for another 10+ hours, because apparently you can only use the function every 24 hours.
    And the best thing is: It says they plan on completely removing the "Fetch" function. Great! That way, when we get stuck with our constructs again we cannot retrieve them at all anymore!
