  1. Like why we are even fixing something that is not broken ? Yea people do Alt+F4 abuse but GUNNER CRASHES EVERY PLAYER KILL - confirmed by many players. How about fixing that instead ???? Currently, Alt+F4 etc just make up for wonky mechanics and I don't really care about someone Alt+F4 when he overshot or something. Probably a noob anyway and I don't want him to replace all his ship due to this mistake. He will ragequit and I will play alone. Maneuver tool ? It takes me 20 damn minutes to figure out how to put XS on top of L at my base without them blowing up. You want to nerf it ? Really ?
  2. We need a dislike button for that "Ship doesn't stop on disconnect and no more maneuver tool" thing ASAP !
  3. No way. They are in the dream of game being "near perfect creation". Reality will hit hard when there is a time for people to renew their subs. + from what I know, all those beta keys etc were hoarded in masses by small amount of people. They will not be extending their subs by paying subs they only need them now until the rest of their alts train up the skills.
  4. Those changes are appropriate when the game is stable and almost bug free. In the current state it will just finish it off. NQ Please wake up.
  5. 1) I pursue ship in PVP. 2) He logs off (instantly stops). 3) I slow down, turn around, approach it. 4) He logs back in and is flying at 30,000 km/h away from me while I have 0 speed. ARE YOU NUTS ? Does anyone thinks about those changes at all ? Please make the ship at least stop if it was shot at in the last 10 minutes (shot, not targeted, targeting can be abused in the safe zone, shooting cannot)
  6. Most of the community does not support banning of those players. The didn't exploit anything. They just pressed B and played a game.
  7. Many people say that bot orders are bad/break economy etc. It takes VERY little dev effort to just change the numbers so they buy-price goes down by a factor of 2 and makes it irrelevant. NQ: Let's add emotes ! The ":-)" is not suitable for 2020 beta !
  8. I wouldn't vote for that feature, stuff breaks apart and goes wrong even now. If the planets will rotate god knows what will happen. I will get off my ship at alioth district 6 and find it at the other side of the planet 5 minutes later as it didn't "attach" to planet or something.
  9. I explained that a bunch of guys didn't find an ore after scanning all the moon. Created a ticket. Support told them to check their internet connection(of about 10guys heh?). It doesn't matter does that moon contain the ore or not. It proves support didn't even read the ticket and answered by template. You quoted me and explained what moons contain what ore, it doesn't matter. The point was that support don't read tickets.
  10. 100% agree especially on the PVP part. What does it matter if it's a cube or sausage or whatever when you don't have anything to PVP for other then just shooting on one another until someone decides it's getting dangerous and runs to the safe zone.
  11. I think it kinda simple, next time that thing says I can't login and need to pay anything I will ask myself "do I really want to?" see what answer I get and go from there.

  14. I messaged him on discord but he said he doesn't want to deal with it anymore. He is not playing anymore anyway. I posted it just as another example of support ticket going wrong way.
  15. I say let's start with at least one incentive that is relatively easy to implement(remove safezone from outer planets up until atmosphere) and see how it goes before we lose more people that can pay for development.
  16. You can as well add another: The Org I know scanned one of the moons, all hexes. Like 10 guys scanning for hours. They did not find the ore that is listed in the moon description. They submitted a ticket that the moon doesn't actually contain mineral listed in it's description and explained that they scanned all the hexes by the members of their Org. Response, after about a month was to check the internet connection.... Should I explain why no one of that org plays now ?
  17. You need at least 2 players for combat anyway. Why not warp a small, fast XS core (5 warp cells) friend to check it out before you warp your glass freighter ? Clear on the other side ? Go. Camped ? Accelerate away, they will not catch you as you are lighter and faster. If you think that pirates on XS cores will stay post the core change, no. We will now fly Ls with 80 Railguns
  18. I don't have big ships at all, I will only have my L core with the AGG and a voxel cube at 1km while playing Mario. You should probably get to District 6 and ask the guys there.
  19. The factor of risk vs reward is not new. It's the logical thing to have in a game. Currently, attach a warp drive to your speeder and you are as good as anyone else mining t5 in complete safety. Having 2SU safezones around planets to prevent 1 pirate "seeing" people around that planet ? There will be less pirates than planets soon so no worry. Put 10 players/ships around the planet and I will show you how I evade you. Next patch ? It makes things worse, theorycrafters that never tried PVP in this game may think it fixes something, it does not. (You can see my explanation in that thread)

  21. Then bring ships that can defend themselves ? Why do you think your starter speeder with a warp drive attached to it should have access to t5? If combat is broken then it works both ways, it's not like it's broken for you and works fine for the pirates trying to get you. No bug fixing will help people that have no clue about PVP to suddenly become ninjas, only experience will. You either satisfy yourself with the low hanging fruit or go for it, risk, learn, PLAY and get to be the king of the hill.
  22. No one is forcing PVP by making T5 planets having PVP enterance. Don't want PVP, dig t3, sell, buy t5. Taking warp exits (and may be entrances, not sure here) out of safe space is the right way. Want to insta-travel from safe garden to mineral rich planet ? Bring guns.
  23. I judge by 3 Russian speaking community discords (encompassing almost all Russian speaking population of the game). 90% of the people left and are now playing other games. About 50% left due to PVP boredom. Some are regular game-hopers. Last playday for my Org leader was - 10 hours staring at the ION/Alioth route seeing people warping back and froth and waiting for someone to actually fly to intercept him. He didn't login for 3 weeks since that day and will not renew I guess.
  24. Building this, building that. I already have 10 assemblies running warp beacons. Should I now start cloning them ? Can't connect more than 10 to the same input cont. It would be nice to see player counts and why NQ is so worried. If there won't be any PVP boost before the initial 3-month sub runs out. Kiss your money goodbye from about 50%-60% of NQ subs. The remaining 30% will leave after finishing 421st voxel museum and rebuilding battleship uselesslandia for the 214th time. The last 10% will keep on voxelmancing, so much for first M of the MMO.
  25. I don't get why everyone is so happy about PVP now. It doesn't change ANYTHING. 1) no L weapons on XS cores ? Ok, now there is no contra to 20 braindead gunners sitting on L Core ship. The most likely contra is them getting bored and leaving. I will still be able to evade them if I want to. 2) No cube meta ? We will have a sausage meta now. I like cubes better than sausages. No, we will not use "beautiful ships" they are useless + repair unit is disabled so no way of repairing anything other than simplest designs. 3) PVP is still meaningless and there are safe zones all around outer planets, people warp to ion, mine t5, warp back. Say hi to campers while doing so. So much sandbox. For now, I will not even advise those who left to rejoin, there is no content here for real PVP or anything, just making it even worse. Edit: For the "ow, I would like to try PVP now" guys. Let me predict your PVP experience: 1) Build a ship from <insert name of sci-fi movie> 2) Assemble a team of players all running around your ship barely knowing wtf should they do 3) Leave safe zone trying to understand how the damn guns and radar work 4) 5 hours flying around seeing nothing 5) L core appears on the scan 2 SU away - finally !!!! 6) You hear "core unit damaged" and respawn at wherever your closest node is. Forget about your ship. You will not survive the alpha of 80L Railgun sausage and with lock range being equal across the board it doesn't matter what your ship size is. It will lock it anyway. Some will try again, most will give up. PVP is not decided by how cool your ship looks or how good you design it. Currently it's all about who knows more "well known" bugs and glitches like gunner-killer crashing, ships insta stop/accelerate on pilot kill etc. Add a total domination of L cores with XS unable to counter them - you get high entry price to very glitchy part of the game. No one gonna like it.
