  1. Rotation isnt coming. NQ stated that years ago because of elements in space and collision if the planet rotates and your ship is in its orbit around the sun. Yes we should be able to make npc's in factories. npc sitting on a chair or npc laying on a bed. We have bio-mass ingame, add some iron, carbon and oxygen and we are off. If lua can input answers it would be great! like choose answer a, b or c. Then we can make a 1 person adventure in a living game!! Also have a kind of 'dispenser' option for the npc-element. So when you are making an adventure you have to 'trade' stuff with the right npc for you to progress. Talk about creating missions, uh-huh uh-huh!! They better add this in the 0.25 update!
  2. Just add static npc's as elements. It can be done in SE so why not here? Give them a text option and its gameboy-like-pokemon-style interactive too! Better than a empty freeport city! And with that we could make our own stories and mysteries.
  3. Or have npc's like elements, that we can place around our builds so it doesnt look empty. Have people sitting at the desk or have a linear path that they walk. That way its possible to fill a city or a space station so it looks more realistic. Even if the npc's are static, maybe they can state a simple text like a screen by interacting (F). So a helpdesk-lady-element can actually have a purpose instead of hanging screens all over the place. Also, filling up your bridge with crew and stuff. I think it can work very simple.

  5. Now i see that PVP is widely interpreted by some. But I just meant pvp warfare, like (for example) in the game Galactic Junk League. In which you could build voxel based spaceships to fight in battle. Ive read it was a kind of robocraft with spaceships.

  7. Yes, something like that. But not a whole discussion with suggestions of what it should be, just what it is to you right now. I didnt include a silly option like "a mining game". I would than say that i am bashing.
  8. See, now thats something i didnt think of! Yes there is a lot of programming in the game done by players, shows that you can actually choose more 'roles' in this galaxy than i have thought of. Well, for me its like, what do WE(the players) expect and how do we combine our wishes or make them come true. Talking and discussing about it does no harm.

  11. If you look at the achievements list, you can see some stuff they were trying to achieve. Like transporting 100 peeps! But how does one get so far to implement it in the game? Well... I think they never thought of that, or most of their first ideas. "Roaming the galaxy"... in a system that has 11 planets on a 2D map isnt what I thought of when they said that. I thought it would be like no mans sky galaxy.... Now, the game is just a 1-server museum for builds, where you can waste time by either flying or mining.

  13. Postimage.org, you can even make folders(galleries) there. The uploaded pics have multiple link buttons. "direct link" copies the link to your clipboard. Then you can paste the link in your post, as soon as you paste the link, the picture will appear. Like this (commercial)
  14. HTTP ERROR (ERROR:100) What does it mean? It means I cant log in, but why? No explanation from NQ anywhere (of course.....) No its not user name etc... ive tried that.
  15. well, thats kinda shitty. Im one of the few players who (when online) are in support chat helping others. It are always the same players who do this support channel and they get nothing paid. And now NQ, who gets paid for this, dont want to do it anymore? Talk about taking a dump on your communty! The amount of alpha-backers, who helped create this game, that has left because of NQ (not even the game itself) is staggering!
  16. Well, the cluster maybe silly but its fantasy-rich! The comic I refer to is from 1978-1993 and still has parts coming out regular ever since. We could have claimable asteroids(floating islands) in between which could lead to cities 'in the sky' A quite unique world and setting. If we could also apply flora & fauna through soil, wow!! Now, if we could only do something more with our avatar, like being a race. (having the same settings in character creations, afterwards tweak it with bigger body or tattoos. Going off-topic here sorry) And also quite easy to do, or no???
  17. Soooo, when NQ introduces a NEW solar system, what kind of new planets do we want? - Gas giants. Lots of atmosphere (+30 km) and coming to land at 2.5 g or so and strong winds like jupiter. Many clouds. Mining would be heavy and difficult! And a real reason for space elevators with a market at the top. - More planets rings. With the asteroids update, this could be done and we dont have to land. - Continents. So we know where we are when we look at the map. Now those puddles look unrealistic for a planet. - A real 3d space-map, so we can actually fly around a zone to get somewhere - Asteroid field, like that part we have in our real solar system between Mars and Jupiter - Cluster of planets and moons, between there is atmo. Its something that ive seen in the comic 'Storm, the pirates of Pandarve' - A large Gate between the solar systems.. they could be like 7500 SU away. Its flyable but will take weeks of drifting - Nebulas with low vision when you are inside or also take slow element damage - Comets And give us xs space fuel tank plz! What do you think?
  18. So if I read your answers correctly, it is more the amount of elements that need loading than the fact that I have a blinking billboard of xs lights but its turned off. So the billboard is heavy-loading-stuff, even when its off I think now, that even when not in sight, elements load. And that would be too bad, because the inside of a ship is most of the time not seen by anybody. The game Subnautica had a similar problem: elements always loaded in, no matter how far away you where. So a big base would slow down your pc, even when you would be far out of visible range of the objects.
  19. Do (lua)scripts get loaded, even when they are off? By this i also mean like, if you have 100 lights connected by relays (and they are turned off) Like I have many Fast n Furious lightshows on my vehicle, but they are all locked with a switch I noticed that my game is slower. Now that can be because of some other reason so I thought I could ask it here on the forum. I want to make a ship with lots of funny things like auto sliding doors with flashing lights etc, but ive got the feeling that even they are not in use they will be loaded and slow down the game. In Space engineers, it was like how I wanted. You could install many lights, but turning them off was better for performance.

Wishing someone something bad isnt for good people, Karma will do its job, even when you dont know about it. And I more think that they are just lucky and, in the end, helpfull. Let those few get an advantage and lets see how we , the majority, will overcome this with ease. Instead of bringing others down, try to get yourself up, even with false rules. It makes you stronger. But its true that it has to be mentioned!
  21. I think its the most stupid thing ever: a wipe. You mean to tell me that all the time we said: no kids/wife/friends, dad/buddy is playing a game right now is for nothing. My friends/kids/wife have waited for me for absolutely nothing? Not even hours but days and even weeks spend here and all that time is wasted? You have paid money to waste your own time and after that pay to do the same thing again? You gain nothing of a wipe. Its not like SE or another game that you still have your ships and you can just load them in the new game. Why are so many people asking for a wipe? Are those people who have too much time on their hands? Are those people who are spoiled and dont have jobs? (too tired to play after your job so when you do log in its precious time) I dont get it, why would you ask to throw everything away you have build? I think its because some are too greedy. With a wipe they can have an even better start and get even more precious ore than before because now they have a plan! A wipe is for greedy & jealous people, thats for sure!! Everyone who asks for a wipe will be here on the first day after the wipe. None of them will wait a month or 2 and then join the game again, Im certain of that! I dont care that my neighbours car is bigger than mine, I dont care that he just got it because of his purple skin colour. I have my own life that Ive got to build. Greedy people, go build something instead of just wanting and hogging everything and do nothing with your 200 containers full of stuff. And if you want a wipe (start over) so bad, just get a new account and start the game fresh, or give away all your stuff and start out fresh. If anything has to be wiped, it is yourself. Dont force it upon others. and breathe.....
  22. It seems a lot of people forget that this is JUST a voxel-building game and not an industrial-game or a market-game. Its just a voxel-building game, on a single server, with extra stuff to do so it doesnt feel so empty I get the feeling that a lot of people dont realise that.....
  23. I (and maybe many others) had a problem with lights going through all voxels. lights off (5 vertical M) lights on Now it looked like a red-light-district. But lowering the colour number solved it (a little). this bright red was 240,0,0 and now i have it set to 35,0,0 lights off lights on But still strange to see lights going through anything
  24. This!... is why I land 5km from the market and hover towards it. part of the problem is my pc, another is this advertising-jungle
