  1. You would need many radars but that could be an option if you are not into aesthetics and there is where I draw the line.
  2. Change in an MMO is normal and in most cases welcomed if it is for a positive outcome. These radar changes were unasked for and force us to redesign our ships. For me it's not much that now ships will be ugly with these radars sticking out but how battles will be from now on. Let's say we get a fight between a few Nanos and some Capitals defending an Alien core Shields are to go down very fast and the Capitals will start to Hull-tank until Venting is over, forcing radars on the outside will destroy these really quick because Weapon RNG goes straight to radars first as tested on PTS. With the destroyed radars Capitals can't shoot back and this was really the final nail in the coffin for big ships. NQ you really don't want us to fly big ships do you?

  4. It's not over yet I will never understand how so many personal hours I did endless mission runs, traded, built constructs had PC machine hours, and on and on are invalidated just like this. And like that Niemand guy suggests giving Vets a skin that will be just an insult to our time spent.
  5. I played Archeage from a year after release until Trion became part of Aria. I was more the casual type of player who had a Truck to run 7 Packages and a ship that could carry if remember right 12. I went also with Guild to hunt the Kraken and because my GS was not that good I was at the bottom of the ship repairing. felt a bit like a second class citizen in that game since you can see the equipment and GS of others and mine was always crap. Even with bad GS I went out to pvp here and there and what I did not like was that what combo or class works is not intuitive at all. To apply a combo you need good ping and mine was bad back then. Yes, there is a grind to be able to PvP in DU but PvP ships have been never this cheap since M cores are Meta you could also inflict heavy dmg just with rare weapons and these are cheap too. Archeage is a Korean grind MMO Fantasy themed. the only thing we could compare is the system to carry packs. And that was nerfed too in Archeage.
  6. Strange my view of the PvP of the two games are opposite I find the Archage one booring and could never live up to it. The other thing is that to get a decent Gear Score to be able to PvP in Archeage is a huge hinderance to get started. In DU I have just to unlock Talents to T4 and get a ship.
  7. It is a game. A game is supposed to have an opposing force like NPC and mobs to advance. In here there are no NPC so the mobs are we. I give it to you that you have no choice to adjust the difficulty level.

  9. You say the pirate proffesion is trolling I say is it is fair play, the game even gives a warning before you enter PvP space. And you are entering an area where only the stronger survive. So its on you if you go unprepared in it.
  10. I think what you describe is not warp jumping but tracking planet traffic with dead cores. As far I know that was patched with Athena update. Tracking ships with surrogate pods was patched in Demeter. And following ship with atmo radar out of planet is legit gameplay.
  11. Then he did something wrong because how to warp jump someone if in that direction is no planet explain that to me. It was nerfed with good reason now you guys want to unerf it. You want to haul safe from planet to planet just warp it it takes ages now anyway to slowboat it. You save electricity and pc life and we are not chasing you guys then. This game has such huge amounts of safe spaces but they ask always for more imagine that.

Warp drive was nerfed due to people pressing a magical I win button each time we PvP players took the effort to go catch them burning warp cells and fuel exposing our ships also to other PVP players doing what we all know is a bad thing that is flying in a pipe. DU PvP suffered for a long from very bad desync and lag making our job nothing like the easy you describe. And clearly, you have no clue about DU PvP scripts these do not put you the kill in a silver plate, these can give you info about Pipe distances, allies surrounding you, time to brake, and hit chance. For the rest you have to align your ships vectors with the target one while shooting so now you come fresh and ask to make it worse with a minigame. Jamm Sensors and electronic warfare on the other hand is welcomed addition and a good suggestion.
  13. Look at me I am one of those you despite. Many times I warpstopped and jumped on an unexpected target and cored it. It was not my skill that contributed to their demise no, more it was their own failure to avoid to fly in the cone of the pipe that caused them to loosing a ship and cargo. You just have to fly not direct to any planet but take sideways. That situation you describe is 100% avoidable just not fly in pipes. This is actually one of the fun things in DU to have done at least once and you want to remove it.
  14. Missions are dead in my case can't see me burning up my machine for 5 hours afk flying so others will avoid it too. This was supposed to be a PvP update but what it did was removing combat opportunities for PvP players. Maybe too many cried of loosing a ship in a pipe and NQ could not hear it anymore.
  15. 1. Yes 2. No because they said many times that they value our spent time that would violate that, if we don't get magic BP for our constructs. 3. Yes In your conclusion who is we? Like many others I strongly disagree with a wipe that rob us from our accomplishments. We are not a few.
  16. If they wipe and all I get from my two year Grind is a xs craft that will be an insult.

  18. Have you ever heard of a Korean grind MMO or the Grind in Warthunder? Listen if one of these games ever did a Wipe the outcry would be so epic one would hear about it on the news. Archage solved dwindling server populations by merging servers and making fresh start ones that later were merged into older ones. Why should this be an outlandish idea for DU when it is a common thing? But it seems that to nuke the server is the only thing they take into consideration from how it reads.
  19. For me, the Game was released already and claimed to be persistent. So now long after all these things happened like dupping and schem exploits we of a sudden need a wipe?
  20. I don't care what others got thru exploits. I played legit grinded legit killed ships legit and don't feel like I was left behind or was not competitive in PvP. What I do care about is that the 2 years grind would be made a waste of time. What others got thru exploits was negated by anyone running missions. These were nerfed to the ground and no serious Missionrunner considers still fly any mission anymore. That means also no more Hauler kills for any PvP guy the rest besides missions can be warped. A surplus of sz roids and MU took away the need to go rare exotic roids for ores reduced chance for fights and kills for PvP players once again. So if you are a PvP player how would you feel if they take you earned kills in form of a graveyard away do you think that is fair ? Scripters can be day one selling scripts, Builders can sell BP. Just the progress of those that mined fought and traded is taken away. Once again is that fair?
  21. No you misunderstood. It is not possible for a captured ship to take a bp from. So the graveyards can not be saved.

  23. 2. Blueprints Why a builders work in form of a BP can survive the wipe and my work of a PvP player of a ship I captured and later repaired will not be saved? this is hipocrisy at best!

  25. We ran some tests and you definitively want to have voxels now since shields got nerfed or you will die really quick. It matters less now 2 Nanos had no chance in a fight against one pre shields 4 Seater ship. Yes that Capital lost shields but outtanked these two.
