  1. Unfortunately bad people exist, and also, contrary to this "proposal" or accord, said bad people need to be taught a lesson, either by denying them access to areas by blowing them to smithereens, or by locking them in a cell that they cannot get out of, for a period of time not game breaking but not the equivalent of a slap on the wrist either.
  2. Unexpected? Chris Roberts is a top bloke, he's spotlighted other space games before. He wants there to be more, more variety and more choice. I would have been dissappinted had he not taken this time to share it and help it get funded (wouldn't be at all surprised if he backed it to a large amount)
  3. Assuming that Warden is in support, both Vulture Corporation and Vulture Metropolice (VPOL) agree to this accord.
  4. One major thing to note; VPOL will have access to much of the research produced by Vulture Corporation and can act as a reseller to police forces and security outfits. VPOL has a licence to sell VCORP brand ships, vehicles and building and object blueprints. Ships and vehicles will be similar to civilian and militia purchasable craft, but built for security and policing use.
  5. Currently on Alpha 2.5, 2.6 with the little FPS combat mode is coming soon, and at the end of the year we expect to see alpha 3.0, which will include the entire Stanton System and the start of the real economy and stuff. Beta will surely follow about half a year later.
  6. That's quite brave, hope you can organise your corp if one of the various bad groups decide to pick on a lone wolf.
  7. Thought I recognised the name of the company... the name is lifted from the X series of games (X2 The Threat, X3, X3 Terran Conflict, X3 Albion Prelude are among my favourite games). Hmmm... I'd becareful about trademarks. Those games are published by Koch Media, which is owned by the Koch brothers, two very wealthy induviduals.
  8. Vulture Corporation uses the designations VCORP, VCS (for our ships) and other variations including VULCORP. Usage of VCORP in any of your material or VCS for your ship designations will be met with harsh consequences.
  9. Not to be nasty or anything, but I would suggest getting someone to work through your grammar and spelling, it's making you look very unprofessional.
  10. You clearly have not abided by the rules. You continue to post and have in your posts copyrighted material from Star Wars despite NQ giving you a very generous time frame to change. They also told you to stop spamming everywhere, but you clearly do not know the definition of spamming. You are angering a large amount of the community, even with groups who are bitter rivals both wanting to gun for you. Oh, and if I see a single ship identical to one from Star Wars and I find it was built by you, I'm gonna obliterate everything you will have built. And then I will lock you in a prison.
  11. I'm not being hostile, but I will be if you want me to be.
  12. Vulture Corporation will make itself clear any raids upon our territory or assets and those of our allies will be taken as acts of war among our alliance and it's joint fleet summoned. Any piracy upon our ships will be met with additional patrols and any stolen goods found will be confiscated. Murder of our transport ship crews and destruction/theft of non-combative ships will lead to bounties upon those who committed the acts, repeated incidents will also be treated as an act of war. TL;DR: Don't fuck with us and our friends, and we won't fuck with you.
  13. Wow. Seems living on the fringe is very popular. I guess we will have to make development of our rugged, dependable smugl... urm, I mean medium transport vessels a priority!
  14. They gave you a week and you did nothing to change. Do you not respect their rights as the developers? This is their forum for their game you will follow their rules.
  15. We protect our friends. An attack on Wilks or his org will be met with fierce counter attacks. Back on Freelancer I was part of a group just like this. I know what I am lookimg at here. And I don't like it one bit.
  16. Thats not piracy, thats just organised thuggery and griefing.
  17. Oh I'm sure there will be a big demand for that from the various alliances and groupings. And then the commanders could remotely issue orders which would appear on fleet vessels displays, including waypoints and information on enemy fleets.
  18. Not an ally, but a reason, a cause. You do realise though that everyone (except maybe other imps) will be gunning for you and your little empire though right?
  19. Imperials who admit to being actual imperials? At last, an honest empire! Thanks for being here to encourage sales of our combat vessels.
  20. Well with the technologies we have nowadays... virtual machines are a thing so a virtual machine within a game that exists purely for C&C and information...
  21. Well the developers have said that even the ship displays will be fully scripted and laid out by the players, so thats what I mean by OS. You have a core system running a ship with the basics, and then plug in modules such as automation, multiple drone fighter control, auto turret controls, shield control systems etc...
  22. Heres an idea for you guys (since apparently you love a challenge)... Build an operating system for ships, with easy to install "modules" which can be easily configured for each ship.
