  1. As we are talking about the warp. Why don't we allow the warp drive to warp only on beacons and no longer on planets.
  2. Less cross section: - You have more efficient cargo in atmo compared to people who do not cheat. - You are less likely to be hit in pvp compared to people who don't cheat NQ equilibrium are based on the volume that an element occupies on your construct.
  3. You don't have to come to the PvP area unarmed. This PvP area is for PvP players. And these areas will be bigger and bigger in the future. The planets in the Outer Rim will also become PvP as intended by the game from the start. You want to come to the PvP zone without respecting the rules, if you are unarmed it is YOUR problem. Many players play by these rules of the game. It is not because you alone do not want it that it is the opinion of the community.
  4. I believe Deckard spoke about this recently. If you don't automate the accounts and it's manual management you can run as many accounts as possible. I am not personally a fan of this sort of thing. But these are the NQ rules. Like the talent system. Once we have said we disagree. Either we leave or we stay and we play according to these rules.
  5. No. We regularly play in PvP in groups of 30 to 50 people against another group of the same number of players. I have never seen more than 2 PvE players logged in at the same location. So maybe 90% PvP player versus 10% PvE player. Anyway, given what the PvP community brings to the game. The existence and value of having 100 PvE communication is very limited. PvE is useless for the future of the game. PvP already fulfills all the roles. Be happy with your safe zone and don't disturb us for the real game you don't seem to be playing.
  6. Personally if it doesn't save you cross section area between putting it in this position or placing it in its normal position above the engine then that ok to me. But if in doubt I think we can still advise you to put it on it rather than in it. After the janko really not fair play is this with innumerable engine occupies the same space. The risk is that this tolerance may vary from one person to another. So simply: NEVER put an item inside another item using a secondary account to do this.
  7. No it's 80% PvP player and 20% only PvE player
  8. This is the best announcement that I could have look since the start of the game. Removal of all that is Janko. People who used this should even be punished more than destroying their ship for cheating all this time on the game with unconventional ships. Compared to a player who does not cheat, people have been able to make millions with their janko freighter. It's a matter of honesty now. All those who complain are players who seem to me to be very borderline when it comes to respecting the rules. It's not good for the game. NQ gives you a few days to erase your past. Say thank you and don't complain if your ships are deleted. You deserved it.
  9. You are completely wrong about PvP. And if you don't understand that and don't want to respect the safes zones: you can quit the game. It doesn't seem like it's right game for you. And when we look at the game's kickstarter announcement : " Safe Zones will protect you, and avoid Dual Universe to become a free for all PvP game. However, PvP will be possible when you step out of the Safe Zone. Players will be able to fight each other, balancing their equipment and energy between shield and armor, with dedicated weapon type with different types of damage. We will provide a “lock & fire” mechanism to combat, to facilitate very large battles that are made possible in-game by our Continuous Single-Shard Cluster. Players can further specialize into certain weapons through skills and improve their combat prowess with better equipment. " The game has been exactly as advertised for several years now .
  10. Visually it's janko. If in addition it allows you to gain cross section then it is exploit.
  11. If it looks like an exploit, if it smells like an exploit, if it tastes like an exploit, then it is most definitely an exploit. If you bought a ship with a janko exploit and the seller of that ship is a good trading they will most likely refund you in exchange for the token of that ship. If not, don't buy from this vendor anymore, there are dozens of ship vendors who have made PvP and PvE ships very good and without janko exploits.
  12. No, no and no. If you don't want PvP don't go to the PvP zone. There is a gigantic safe zone which was expressly created for this. If people go out into the unarmed PvP zone it is THEIR problem, not this of the game. The ore that we harvest in PvP zone costs us extremely more expensive than that which can be harvested in PvE zone. We are spending tens / hundreds of millions in quanta / playing time to have PvP ships to defend against pirates. We cannot let people freely mine without making this effort, it is unfair competition. Someone so unlovable and condescending that you will have to understand this. DUAL UNIVERSE is an initially PvP game. Yes, PvE has to see its place. But it's not YOUR game. You have the right to play the role of victim but stop cry like a child.
  13. I don't know you, you don't know me, why are you insulting us? Legion does PvP in a video game that has a PvP area for PvP players to practice PvP in. I'm curious to see how far your ignorance goes, so I invite you to contact us so that you can come and see our facilities and realize the magnitude of the things these people which you call "destroyer" have built.
  14. You are right. the initialization of the warp should with its energy consumption should cut the shields. I will propose this, I hope it will be on the next patch.
  15. step 1: - finish the game step 2: - make it fun and make everyone love it step 3: - once everyone finds the godlike game, ask the wipe question step 4: - the game has gotten so good that you don't want a wipe
  16. NQ seems to have responded to this request dozens of times. No, their game architecture does not allow them to make construction boxes other than square. End of the debates. In addition it was planned at one time to have larger boxes (at least XL) but there are already problems of loading the elements of your vessel when it exceeds 100m. The XL cores may arrive someday, but they have so much else to do before they are better off.
  17. This is what I tried to explain to you last time but you didn't listen. You released a video saying that thanks to her you understood the mechanics and that what I'm saying was wrong. In short, a classic DU player.
  18. Hardcore really? Shipbuilding has no real depth, you just need to add items to your ship without any constraints until it flies. There is no object destruction if you crash while piloting. All planets with all the resources in the game are 100% safe. There is no PvE constraint on any planet. No penalty for the death of a character. 90% of T1 objects are sold for less than their resource price on the markets. Even Animal crossing seems to me more demanding than DU.
  19. Looks like Dofus' Smithmagic system. A profession where one progresses only when one manufactures an article (and not in AFK talent). Depending on its level, you can make certain items or not. Obtaining stats when crafting the item. Improvement of the object with runes (on Dual Universe it could be the use of sub component). May seem random but depending on the talents and actual knowledge of the player the object will always be better than at the start. Destruction of objects (product for xp the business level, product sold at a loss, item broken, ect ...) to recover sub components. Repeat the gameplay loop and you have the strongest economy we've seen in an MMO in the past 15 years.
  20. The way NQ approaches the cross section system in PvP really scares me. So far they seem to be trying to make the cross section system work from the XS ship to the L ship. ( The insane increase in weapon size is made for this attempt at balancing which I find quite bad. ) For me there is a scaling problem which means that it will not work to want the same system for all sizes of cores. Finding a happy medium between an XS with a volume of 4000 m3 and a core L with a volume of 2,097,000 m3 ... Just Meh ... why make that. There should be a very clear distinction between the core sizes. The principle of cross section should only intervene to differentiate the ships on the same core size. Example with 4 ships you try to shoot with an L weapon : (value as an example) - M of 10,000m3 => 50% chance of a hit - M of 50,000m3 => 60% chance of a hit - L of 10,000m3 => 80% chance of a hit - L of 50,000m3 => 90% chance of a hit Even if it is almost as big as an L, the ship M needs to be put in a lower category. Of course, there has to be a balancing: For an M core: No weapon L, no shield L ect ... We must give a role to all ships. The 380mm guns of the military navy were not designed to shoot down fighter planes! This must be the same for Dual Universe weapons, why can an L railgun shoot at a target potentially 500 times smaller ?!
  21. I don't like the industrial system of NQ. It is a passive system, once you have installed your machine and your diagram you will NEVER need to open your factory again. Just drop ore in and take the items out. It is too late to change anything at the moment NQ has to move on on other subject. But if they come back to it later, I'd like the new industry system to call for really expensive machines rather than schematics. You should pay 50 million for a production machine, not the shematic.

    Pets

Hey, if PETS ever come into play. Make sure they have some in-game utility. If I will have to have something that follow me got me as much as it activates the tools for me (and remove that hand on the left of my screen).
  23. Now, in the current state of the game, I no longer understand complaints about the schematics. Especially when it comes to groups of ten or more players. I think there is a lot of ignorance and annoyance, people who were angry either blew their brains out so they could keep complaining endlessly or they need it to justify stopping the game when so many other missing or badly made mechanisms justify it more. I recently reviewed one of our industries that makes almost every T1 item in the game: 35 million shematic. Apart from the core unit, you can craft any PvE ship in the game ! With the current price of ore (eg T2) you can make just over 10 million quanta in just 2 hours! Really complaining about the price of the shematic is stupid now. There is no longer a valid argument for wanting a return to the no schematic version of the game.
  24. For the bird They were completely useless now, no one not came to collect the information. The gamer who build this has leaves Dual Universe due to Shadow's inability to provide functional virtual machine service. For once it wasn't NQ's fault.
  25. I think he is just asking for the locking range before but without being able to put the L weapons back on the XS cores. The guns on XS was really the big problem. Potentially I would like this to be done for other elements as well. What will go in the sense that a capital L really has a reason to exist because it has access to things that you cannot use on an S or an M. If not for the balancing between the classes it is one way of seeing things. But for me XS / S / M or L is not a race of what is end game or not. What should really make the End Game is the quality of the items. Exotic weapons or that sort of thing. In your example, the biplane and the jets are XS. except that the biplane is an XS with basic weapon but that the jets is one with exotic weapon. And DU need to adds to this other class of ships. You have the S which will be like anti hunter frigates. M's like cruisers and the L's like cuirassers. Of course your L battleship could look like something from WW1 equipment level or something post Cold War level. One having no chance against the other. Here is my opion which will make the game more interesting in the long term than the "L core or nothing". And to add another suggestion, I saw that NQ had said that "element damage under high G is something to consider." That will be needed for balancing. Too much G but not enough voxel or mass will lead to the loss of the ship. Good thing no ?
