My guess would be late spring, early summer as well.

I wouldn't expect too much, they don't have a dedicated marketing team or anything of the sorts. The news they give us is done in their free time. My guess is they will have a devblog every month. Maybe 1-2 times a month once we get past the holidays... before we know it, alpha will launch.

The Flood were actual lifeforms in Halo right? Although I'd personally find that concept interesting, NQ have distanced themselves from such a direction. I wouldn't get your hopes up for it ^^ If there is plague, I imagine it will be completely player controlled. Through some kind of bio-warfare... or pre-contaminated areas that you can research in order to weaponize against another area. Something like that.

Hmm, plague could be an interesting concept to throw into a game. Bio warfare to render some resource unattainable for all parties... unless you take extreme measures to clean up the area or something. Or for those brave enough to try and weather the conditions. Could be interesting.

I think they allow Paypal, as that was one of the main reasons for having a shop after Kickstarter. If you can connect the card to Paypal... I imagine that would work.

Agreed, I don't think there will be too much griefing going on. Obviously, you can't completely get rid of it... but the fact that you can spread out so much, basically... if you want to avoid griefers it won't be too difficult. In my opinion anywho.
