  1. I disagree with this part. Deckard was very clear about the intention. Reduce server cost.
  2. This display of time needs to change. It's a ROUNDED value, so sometimes you can add/remove runs without changing the time. Make it stop rounding, preferably client time and date when the run is finished. I have a lot of stuff that I want to say about this change, but Deckard has straight up said, that if we only say negative things, we will just be ignored. I'm sorry that I do not see any redeeming qualities in this update. Apparently that makes my opinion null and void.
  3. Thanks, I'll try that out. I tried linking a PB to the doors and then linking the seat directly to the PB, but I didn't think to put a switch in between.
  4. Hey @NQ-Ligo Can we please have the ability to control doors from a ships Control Unit? I think control unit makes the most sense, because that's also where we control the ships headlights and landing gears, and so on. It would be nice to be able to have CloseDoors() in my onStart(), when you get in the seat, without having to link to every door, or need to do logic circuitry trickery. Thanks
  5. In the past, you promised that you would ensure these episodes had proper subtitles. Where did they go? The YouTube auto-subs are terrible.

  7. You could also build a new construct on top of your old one, put some containers and a surrogate pod station on it, then leave the ore in that construct. Don't forget to activate the vr pod. Just keep it out of the way on the markets, like on the ground. And don't forget to VR to it often, and maneuver it, to refresh the 7 day timer.
  8. ... There is a main story? There's a few lines when you make a char like "wow arkship.... wow new world" and then you never hear a single word ever again. This is where they could actually expand the world a lot, with a few decent PVE mechanics, but they don't seem to want the place to be immersive like that.
  9. I'll add that it's very annoying to be limited to the nearest market, in the Marketplace filter. This should not default to the nearest market, or the market interface needs a settings page where you can change that. The default behavior should be to show all, and then you can narrow down your search, should you need to. Another thing I have noticed... Uncommon Safe Space Engine XL doesn't exist in the overview of the market interface, if you just search for space engine xl. Schematic is shown, but not the element. And I have checked that it's not just hidden because of zero orders, because Exotic Freight space xl has no orders, and that shows up just fine. I have scrolled down as far as I can, here:
  10. What do the blue lines mean here? This screenshot is from Sawafa. Here's one from me: The blue line is not my order, and in Sawafa's screenshot it is not his order either. So what does the blue lines indicate?
  11. I would like to file a formal complaint, since the game version has gone from 0.30.1 to 0.31.0, but without a name change. This is unacceptable. Literally unplayable, and so on.
  12. If you sit on those chair surfaces, on the railing of the landing pad bridges, and hit insert to see 3rd person view... The camera is upside down it seems, and you clip into the ground.
  13. "Global Illumination"... Look how dark everything is, with this many lamps. This is ridiculous.
  14. Keep in mind, that not all 12th gen CPU's even have E-cores. 12100, 300, 400, 500, and 600 only have P-cores, until you get to the 12600K which has 6 P-cores and 4 E-cores. So anyone who has upgraded to 12th gen, but chosen to get a cheaper CPU "for now", could just have no E-cores to begin with. Only Intel 12th gen have E-cores on PC atm. To avoid E-cores, avoid 12600K and higher.
  15. The ability to remote engage with people. If I log on and want to contact someone, they have to already be in my friends list. Also the ability to fleet up with your buddies.

  17. Once again, as predicted in the PTS feedback thread, NQ launches the update no matter how buggy it is. One of their flagship new features is still [filtered]ed. GI off GI on The ground is lit up far in the background. Come on, this was reported right away on PTS. The glass furnaces are lighting up the ground for 500+ meters. Just to the left of those transfer units, you may see a tiny construct in the distance. That's a hair over 500 meters away. Ground lit up again And after walking forward a bit This feature is ready for live servers? Has this received _any_ testing before or after PTS? Same shit, different patch.

  19. Feature request for Ligo. Please add activate() on manual buttons. There's lots of uses for firing a signal when you sit down in a chair, but where a switch isn't necessarily the way to do it. Like when counters are involved. Unless I'm just doing it wrong. Anyway, it would be nice to be able to push the button with lua. Thanks.
  20. Entropy please fix your mic. It has a tendency to cut out the quiter parts of your speech. Q1: It's crazy that this question doesn't prompt, at the very least, a comment along the lines of "maybe we should make X more clear". If players are leaving the FTUE with the question "Now what?" then the FTUE is a failure. Q2: It get that it's annoying when people come poking again and again, but cooldowns isn't the answer. Q3: A multiple solar system universe doesn't need to be a continuous universe imo. A system like EVE's, where each solar system is connected by some "instant" fast-travel mechanism could work. And I don't see any reason why it should be costly. Traveling from Alioth to "Alioth 2" could be as simple as flying up to some Aphelia installation orbiting at 1 SU above Alioth (for instance), and then getting shot through interstellar space.
  21. Linking or unlinking a machine to output container has started causing lag spikes for me. It feels like the entire construct needs to recalculate all of the links, except now it doesn't just happen when selecting the link tool, now it happens every time I link/unlink something in my factory.
  22. It was mentioned on an Ask Aphelia episode, that you guys haven't received a ton of requests to lower the memory usage of DU. Let me put forth this request. Please fix the memory leak. When I play the game for long enough, my game will crash. It's not a matter of "if", but rather "is the game open for long enough". Obviously I don't see this issue anymore, since I don't have long play-sessions these days . For obvious reasons, which NQ caused. We're still waiting.
  23. Since Entropy thinks we have L wings... Please put them in the game? Also, please give us larger engines, so we don't have to stack dozens of them to lift heavy ships out of atmosphere.
