  1. Seems you can't do that. Already a backer and looking to obtain the awesome items seen in the new Supporter Packs? Unfortunately, upgrading from Founder to Supporter isn’t possible. However, starting from the Silver Founder level to Kyrium level, we'll gift you guys selected items from the Supporter Packs as a token of our appreciation.
  2. Honestly @Lethys I'd hope not! The idea is still for NQ to make enough money to run and develop the game.
  3. What is confusing you? You get your original gold founder items plus some additional items from the new packs. Mostly cosmetic, no extra DAC.
  4. If manual mining seems boring to you then do something else, or not. There have been various discussions on the subject and in the end there is 1 statement of JC that seems to be final and difficult to refute. If you allow anything beyond manual mining you affect the price of ores in such a way that a beginning miner can't compete in the market. Perhaps some scanning tools might be added down the line but with everything we know so far, mining itself will stay a manual labor. (if there is new info, please point me to it.)
  5. Welcome to the community. Looks like we are close neighbors. Have fun looking around and don't hesitate to jump in and join the discussions.
  6. Fact of life is, you can't live in a constant state of fear. There needs to be a moment where you can relax, breath and enjoy what's in front of you. Nothing but the fear of death all the time would get boring for a lot of people. So I think these safe tiles are a great addition to the game. I don't think diminishing pvp is a concern, just the opposite in fact. They create yet another way to express yourself beyond "blowing things up". It creates the mechanics for blockades and a lot more that I can't think of. In the end I see this as just another way by NQ to bring some balance between 2 opposing spectrums. The builders and the destroyers. If you can sell your MSA tile it might become even more interesting.
  7. Yup my question is answered. Me and my friend got confused with that info graphic picture. Thanks @Mod-Meldrik for that very detailed answer.
  8. That's entirely understandable. Sure, playing in a group will get you things faster. But there are multiple ways to be independent and be part of a larger group at the same time. There are orgs in all sorts of flavors and if you don't even want to do that there will be job boards and multiple discord channels. You won't have acces to some elements of the game but you will definitely be able to progress in your own way at your own pace.
  9. Question has been answered in a different thread. No t-shirt.
  10. I read that too. But a org member pointed me to that info graphic saying something different, or so we thought. We got confused. So I thought it couldn't hurt to ask.
  11. Hey guys, So am I reading this right, that sapphire and up gets everything included in the Patron Pack? I got a digital ruby, am I also getting the t-shirt? Could this be true or am I not reading this right? Maybe @NQ-Nyzaltar can clarify this so there are no misunderstandings?
  12. Nice. I'm Ă  big fan of seeing so many extra goodies for the original backers. Really nice. I just wished I could just buy that damned t-shirt on its own.
  13. You will only be able to play during announced tests. There is no offline mode currently in the game or currently planned for future development.
  14. I think they mean that the idea is to get all the features working before taxing the resources for advanced graphics.
  15. In theory yes. But real life and real interactions would make that endeavor extremely messy. You can worry about it if you want but the chance of that happening is extremely small.
  16. I'm excited to just experience the world. Nothing grand, I'll enjoy walking around and being a citizen and tourist of the virtual world.
  17. Perhaps yes. But banks will ask for a storage fee as well. No matter what you do there will be a cost associated with storing goods. Might be cheaper to dig a hole and bury your treasure, with a big fat X to mark the spot.
  18. If you have an apartment you can always store your excess goods there. In a crate or something. Your ship is a bit trickier to store for long term. Maybe at a player run garage. To the OP; I would love to see something like that. But considering everything else that needs to be developed this might not be in the priorities list.
  19. Hello everyone, Recently I had the chance to sit down and chat with FleetAdmiralCoke from the Terran Union. It was an interesting look into the ideas behind the currently largest org. Feel free to go and have a look. In other news, Outpost Zebra is still looking for new talent to join us. Experience writing is appreciated but not required. If this interests you feel free to contact me, Falstaf, with a PM. Or reply to this thread. Thank you for your time.
  20. Well.... Concider we are January 31 2018 and we are still in pre alpha. I wouldn't expect the game to follow the original anticipated time line. I'm not a developer so I can't predict any dates for you. But as a consumer who has been down this road many times before, I wouldnt expect closed beta to come just yet. Some patience is required. Edit: of course I have no information on how far NQ is internally. I'm talking from a probability point of view.
  21. Hmm, that's true as well. Looks like I'm wrong in my opinion on that one.
  22. Sure, but that doesn't change the fact that you sort of destroy the idea of local markets. Hey I thinks it's one of those agree to disagree questions. But who knows, I might read something that changes my mind.
  23. I don't think that applies. Let's say you transport Kyrium from its source to a far of planet. If you can change price on every market at the same time why would you work with the local price at all? You would just make 1 unit price for all locations.
