  1. If that's the case its a dead horse but I remember the staff bringing it up like a poll question a while back. pvp'ers scoffed the idea made me think the devs had an idea on how to do that. One thing they could do is if the npc hauler makes it to safe space it "wins" lives to haul another day.. Im not suggesting atmosphere flight paths. that wouldnt go well at all.
  2. I was referring to the safe zone missions I don't pay attention to the other missions...
  3. Yes, I agree I was thinking about this last night. NPC hauler coming and going from random planets moons that people can attack and loot. I think that would be helpful add something new to do in the game. Making resources easier and quicker to obtain is a must. You want people to come back and new players to he happy then you need to increase the amount of ore a individual can acquire per hour. So that builders can build. You need to minimize or eliminate as many time sinks as possible. Nothing discourages gamers more than time sinks... Get rid of the taxes that was a bad idea. You need to focus on making the game easier to play so that people aren't spending all their game time try to scrap up resources. The game is all work and no play now so the faster they correct that the better more people will return. I think if you quit making the game so tedious no one wants to play players will return. These changes are more important than the staff realizes.
  4. You should be able to use warp cells on hauling missions. The costs of warp cells lowers your profit margin, that should be penalty enough. You could complete missions faster for less profit,
  5. MU's should work like refiners and uncommon ore should be everywhere.
  6. After playing for awhile this is what stands out to me at the moment. The tiles aren't worth paying for. You shouldn't have done that. It's too much effort just to keep tiles. waste of time. Ore needs to be easy to get not hard.
  7. I know there are ways to adjust the way the engines fire / behave in LUA but I haven't really went down that rabbit hole yet just dipped my toes in it. If there is a way to make stmos engines synch with or behave like the ground engines that would probably do the trick but Im just throwing that out there I don't even know if that's possible. I was going off default engine / cockpit config I was more impressed with left right and down thrust than the ones facing towards the ground to be honest it feels like your hovering floating and it smooth hard to explain but it was interesting.
  8. I've played around with that was able to get work somewhat the ship felt more like a drone there's some advantages the side engines help balance the ship and make a more stable ride but I always end up scraping it because the fuel consumption is high and the extra weight due to the extra engines made it not practical but it was fun to tinker with. I might try to play with that again on small scale using mostly small engines and a couple/ few medium engines or xs engines with small engines for rear thrust that would more fuel efficient but I wouldnt try to haul a lot like that it's not efficient.
  9. Ahh, this I understand, I was able to make a really fancy ship like that I would check the forums even if I wasn't playing. If they aren't keeping tabs on it they probably quit-quit like for real.
  10. I mean all they gotta do is move their ships... If they can't move their ships then is it really NQ's fault? Yeah I don't think so either.
  11. Yeah, I agree I don't know the best way to go about it but ship elements as they are right now are not efficient that's why we stack we stack like there's no tomorrow. Gotta reach that 2g +
  12. Ahh so you like mount 20 wings etc, It's ok if you do but I don't
  13. All ship element stats should be doubled except for adjusters. Adjusters are the only ones that seem right in my opinion. This would help reduce the stacking issue which is a cause and effect problem not a builder problem nor is an exploit. Most players go heavy with brakes because they suck, especially once you leave Alioth. All of the "hybrid" atmospheres are the main reason players stack brakes space brakes don't fire up at all and the atmos brakes are close to useless. Stronger engines would reduce the wall of engines and reduce the over all cost of ships which could improve pvp participation, same can be said about airfoil and ground engines. They have needed help since I started playing shortly after beta. It's something that I've been thinking about over and over throughout the time I've spent playing the game. Last but not least ship elements should be ALOT more shock resistant we should be able to handle a slow collision or a rough landing. The way they are now it's like they are made out of highly explosive glass which never really made sense to me.
  14. Yeah, I feel ya I was doing that when I replied lol . Just making sure ya knew that. Good luck
  15. You can do that but you have to left click highlight then click and drag
  16. Surface Harvester: After playing for so long picking up rocks off the ground is a really jagged pill...I'm skilling up talents but I dunno if I can commit to that... but I'm willing to try
  17. Credit where credit is due Deckard has helped me correct my mistake. He didn't have to but he did and I am grateful. ?
  18. I want to share my mistake to reinforce the need to be able to pay Quanta to reset talents. I spent my refunded points on corp talents first and as a result I spent all those points on talents I will never use. To be clear that was my fault for not paying attention. This and many other reasons is why there is a need to be able to pay Quanta to reset talent points. Even if has a long cool down since this seems to be taboo for reasons I don't understand. On good note I'm seeing lots of positive feed back about the Vertex Precision Tool so I think that might be a win.
  19. When hunting rabbits they have a pretty good chance of surviving but we do not.
  20. I knew I was feeding myself to the lions when I made this original thread but look at how much feedback it generated! I do hope the staff reads all of this stuff there is a ton of information in there from both sides they need to use it and figure some things out. Hopefully they will.
  21. I think I would enjoy mining asteroids if they didn't broadcast the location the amount of ore on a asteroid is pretty decent for one player but broadcasting the location that I took the time to scan seems dubious and is a deal breaker for me personally. Broadcasting the ones in the safe zone is cool because new players can participate with out all the investment but you may need more asteroids for that to work well.
  22. That was well said, I'm not attacking PVP players Im attacking the implementation of PVP it really has nothing to do with the players.
