    I would just like the ability to link the input and output to the same container. Makes planing difficult when you can only have either/or to your containers. Really wastes space since you need large enough containers at every step of the process instead of just one large container as the input and output.

    Just add a BIG RED SECTION down the centre of each market, if you land in that section you get a warning - SHORT STAY PARKING if your vehicle is left here for more than 4 hours it will be DELETED with all its contents, this leave the edges for longer term parking / marketing but the main section of the landing for proper short term parking.
     
    If some of these scruffy muppets lose some ship then there you go.
     
    Did you really hit a space station at 10km?  Was your radar broken or were you afk?

    A checkbox preference up top on your personal inventory of "Show Tools" (defaulted ON for new players) would help hide those away.

    Please for the love of god stop it. Such a waste of time chasing that signal from 400m only to find out you cant mine it because its either claimed or you are on sanctuary

    We need a Element that can be placed in your base or ship that can recycle elements that you no longer need to return a portion of the raw materials.

    Yah I would love this to happen but this has been Suggested like 8 times in Pre-Alpha. If they do allow us to rent out spots of a Constructs  it would most likely with just doors where you can go up to a Rent-Me Door and rent out the Room on the Other side with options to use the Containers in there. 
     
    this Will probably come out in one of the Betas or release

    What it is: A Landing Pad
     
    Sizes: XS, S, M
     
    What size grid it can be placed on: Static or Space grids one or more sizes larger grid than the size of the Landing Pad.
     
    What it looks like: A square landing pad, length, width, and height+ of the building grid from a core of the same size as the Landing Pad. The pad itself would not be very tall, but it would have an area where only separate dynamic grids no bigger than the pad may be built. This gives the necessary clearance for ship retrieval. (Also gives a space where ships can be built and allow them to be stored while still in progress.)
     
    What it does: Land a ship (Dynamic Core) of it's size or smaller on the pad and activate the pad to open a menu to store the ship within it. User must have permissions for both the Landing Pad and the Ship. The pad's activation menu would also give a list of ships stored within to retrieve.
     
    Volume: Subject to Balancing. Should at least hold the equivalent of the full volume of space a core of the landing pad's size. Ship volumes calculated by the sum of it's parts and contents, or on the ships grid size. This would allow a Medium Landing Pad (which must be on a large static or space grid) to hold 8 Small Dynamic Grid ships. Volume of ships that can be stored could be increased with talents.
     
    Other ideas to go with it:
     
    Link it to a container with fuel to allow refueling stored ships. This would be done by selecting the ship and selecting a fuel tank within the ship from the menu.
     
    Allow ship containers that are set as a Linked/Primary container to be accessed while within range of the Landing Pad.
     
    Allow access to ship's cargo from the landing pad interface.
     
    LUA programming could include reading information on stored ships. Advanced LUA might allow for retrieving ships via alternate input than the landing pad menu.
     
    Another new Element to pair with the Landing Pad, a Ship Storage Unit. It would link to Landing Pads and act as a separate storage space for ships. Linked to multiple pads could allow retrieval of ships from any linked Landing Pad or Ship Storage Unit.

    Try using the scanner to estimate where the ores are and you won't need the detector at all.
     
    The trick I use is that I only move in 6 possible directions when searching for ore:
    Cardinal: 0, Angle 0
    Cardinal 180, Angle 0
    Cardinal 90, Angle 45
    Cardinal 90, Angle -45
    Cardinal 270, Angle 45
    Cardinal 270, Angle -45

    My suggestion would be to make an industry hub that allows for industries to be connected, controlled and monitored from a common terminal and possibly make their input/output through.

    While playing a bit with my industry I noticed that one could be confused by the meaning of "Make" and "Maintain"
     
    While the actual functionality is pretty obvious, the meaning of the input differs between them.
     
    As an example:

    When I tell my Electronics Industry to keep a level of 350 on my Basic Components, it will stop as soon as the item count is above 350.
    But when I tell it to make 350 it will not create 350 basic components but instead will run 350 times which in turn create 3500 basic components.
     
    So my idea would be to either rename the "Make" function to "Run x Times" or to bring it in line with the "Maintain" function.
