As the meta changes and DU moves to more classic approach - When every person is sitting on a his own ship(as having 1 ship with many gunners is now useless, each ship now has same defense - one shield gen). I would like to propose some interface changes.
A well made interface is very important for fluent and enjoyable gameplay, current meta of sitting in a gunner seat and using a remote control to control your ship is far from being the best gaming experience.
We currently have shields and "stress". We are planned to have energy. Therefore I have a good idea of a possible interface:
The outer layer can demonstrate the shield status, the middle interface the stress of the voxels and the inner circle the HP of the core. The middle section can be used to represent the future "energy" that the ship has.
As we go further we may think about adding an advanced ECU that assists the pilot while piloting. You activate the advanced ECU that brings you to a third person view. While the advanced ECU is active, you can see the before-mentioned interface and control the ship by double-clicking in the direction you want the ship to fly to.
This way pilots can concentrate on overviewing the battle from the command perspective and decide on further course of action in a much more enjoyable manner.

Of course ! That's illegal boarding and is confirmed to be a punishable offense !
He should hmmm.... defrag his hard drive, uninstall useless programs and reboot his router, 3 times. The crash problem is 100% related to his computer malfunctioning.

Yea as when logging off at market 6 it's so easy to see if you are boarded to someone or not.

So space bulldozers are in trouble and we should definitely address it instead of being able to not miss your every shot.

So voxels were useless in PVE
Now they are useless in PVP
Why not just remove them from the game or make them weight=0 as they are useless cosmetic additions that have no function.

July 29th Starbase released.DU Died.
NQ pushed Apollo early to recover. Again didn't listen to feedback. Massive server issues. Worst experience since Beta launch.
(if you didn't leave for Starbase, it was New World)

I am not a game dev but a software dev. The "content" that we get each patch that releases every 3+ months looks like there is like 1-2 people working on DU at this point.
At least their burnrate should be low I guess as I barely see anyone paying for whatever we have now or even with ALL of those updates. There will still be no game in there.
Where is the territory control ?
Where is the other solar systems ?
Where is the AvA you planned ?
Where is my space kitten pet ?
Where is any fun game loop that doesn't include spending hours looking at the screen doing nothing ?

AC was a bunch of orgs, mostly carebears, limited amount of PVPers under alliance named Ascendancy or something.
ATOM joined them and did some white knight PVP under name of "AC ATOM". Did some fun events for PVP and generated content.
Here come the asteroids and ATOM decided that protecting other AC carebears is no fun especially if they don't pay and left AC.
Some AC orgs that do at least some PVP followed ATOM and they formed legion.
AC remained with mostly carebears and will most likely be irrelevant now.
All this "majoir political event" and MMO drama involve no more than 2 dozen people at this point.
No one outside of AC/legion really cares about this.
On the first day of legion being formed, "AC ATOM" ship got cored in PVP space. ATOM leaders denied it is one of theirs saying it's fake. It turned out to be a lame try to cover a carebear loss of ATOM member.

Buying ore for large base build projects etc. dosen't work in the long run for obvious reasons. And mining fatigue is a REAL thing in this game, and is making players quit.
so what you do instead of mining ? Flying 6 hours in empty space ? Is that better ?

Because the ones that build it have no idea what they are doing. Even if they pull their heads out of sand now, it is probably too late.
P.S:
Lol at that DekkarTV dude trying to say game is not dead. Even the discord chat is dead with just 3-4 people occasionally chatting.
Probably butthurt if he tries to get a streamer career but the title he chose has like 10 viewers at peak.- JohnnyTazer, le_souriceau and Bollox

I hereby declare all constructs owned by me (XKentX IGN) or any organization I am a legate of to be off limits to anyone without written permission.
Under the new exploit classification and this formal declaration available to wide audience anyone entering the sphere of influence (and therefore boarding) any of before-mentioned constructs without my written permission can be classified as a bug abuser and will have disciplinary actions taken against him as mentioned by NQ.
P.S:
When I land my L-Core on Market 6 it's your problem, not mine.

Talking about economy and saying that a game with the most sophisticated and realistic economy sucks. Yea, NQ should really listen to you. The dumpster will burn faster and my friends that still stuck there will be free.
P.S:
Saying that DU economy is replication of EvE is like saying that my 5 y/o son replicated Mona Lisa but for some reason it doesn't sell for millions...
