  1.

The exchange rate is brutal, and even with the favourable USD/PLN rate, 15$ dollars is simply too much, with the average salaries here.

5-7 dollars is pretty acceptable for me (price of a one ticket to cinema is about 6.3$), but 10-15...that would mean a high paywall for me and people living here.

    Just saying.

Sorry, but I call bullshit, mate. Average price for new PC game in Poland is about 25$ (here is link) so paying 10-15$/month is like buying one new game per two month - something that most of the players can afford. Most common pay in Poland is around 560$ (link) so it is not even 2,5% of your paycheck monthly... even if you do not earn so much. I am poor ass too, but your claims are kinda weak. Sorry for such rant, but let's stick to the facts, brother.

PS: To be total accurate, AVERAGE pay in Poland is around 1000$. You mean DOMINANT pay, and they are not the same ;)

  2. So far, there are no plans for any sort of "goverment" made by devs - probably limitations to PvP will be executed by game mechanic itself. On community portal, however, you can see hundreds of player-driven organizations which now try to secure its member-base... and some of them will certainly try to establish global domination in "universal government" style. Maybe even few of them actually succeed in dictating laws to other players ;)

So. Basic rules by mechanic and rest of politic in player hands.

  3. Hmm...

Noble idea, but as (poor) writer myself, I suggest another approach: write what do you "feel" the best. Writing to someone else ideas can be very, very frustrating and somehow "false" - every writer have his/her own scope and knowledge about specific set of topics, and writing something outside this can lead to poor results.

In short words: go with your heart, rather than poll ;)

And of course publish it here! Any path you choose, I wish you godpseed and a lot of inspirations!

It's possible. There's no doubt about it. It has been confirmed by the Devs that there will be no limit to how big you can build.

Not quite. There is difference between object class "CONSTRUCT" as big as a planet (certainly possible) and object class "PLANET" which should behave like CONSTRUCT (e.g. move).

So you will probably can (give enough time, manpower and resources) construct "artificial planet", which move like ship, but you can't "convert" already existing planet into ship. In other topic was stated than due to mechanic limitations, planets will be stationary (no orbiting and so on).

In the end, effect will be the same, so why bother ;p

    PS: To be perfectly clear:

Death Star from Star Wars IV, V, VI = possible

Starkiller Base from Star Wars VII = impossible

    :P

  5. But you can do it on "virtual" way - without actual voxels to use, only tiles. For example, to create cockpit, you will need 4 elements: seat, controlls, HUD and cover. Given few types of each one - and by types I mean different stats - you can create series of same looking parts, but with different characteristics. And it can be done without making new game models for everything.

  6. By gun.

And more probably constructs will have some kind of privileges to set, for example privilege to manipulate elements of construction; any unwelcome visitor would only have option do destroy it by hand, and it will not be so easy and fast.

BTW: I Post this same video in fist post of this topic :D

blueprints doesn't fly magically in your head just because you have read a book.

Blueprints often does after inspiring lectures. But there is big difference between ability to design something and actually build it :D
