It would be great if the devs could at least allow Legates to check one of our member's posts as public after they have posted it privately I can edit the text and everything already. And the checkbox is already there, it's just grayed out.

I just want to apologize to you. I know that this happens mostly because of me... and i am so sorry. Atleast you are more professional about it and didn't come in here kicking and screaming and tossing threats around. I am trying very hard to control the situation but as you can see not many people can control themselves. This is why I am revamping the Galactic Empire into something different.

I like the idea. It's like it is IRL. I have been alive a lot longer than a 25 year old and I know more about the world and have more skills (most of the time). And it was the same for all of us when we were young. Same thing here too. I want this game to be based in realism.

Does anyone know if its possible for anyone in an org, other than a Legate, to be able to post a public message on the boards? Some of my members want to help with recruiting but it seems only Legates can post publicly over there. Is that correct?

Joining an org really is the answer to this. I tend to be a bit anitsocial from time to time and I'm mostly a solo player. But after setting up an org and starting to talk about what our plans will be with our members, the role play aspect of it all has become VERY appealing. Now I simply don't want to play this game alone. I'm almost even looking forward to griefers when they discover that girl down there building all alone already has reinforcements on the way. Surprise, surprise...muhahaha.

Well, I showed Deep around Landmark last night. Lasted all of an hour before we got bored. We then spent the next 7 hours in Empyrion. That game is addicting once you figure out what's going on. I'm about to login in a few minutes and spend all day playing. Fry will be playing for a few more hours too. He's been up all night playing it.
So yes, I will be playing hookie from doing recruiting posters. At least for today :-)
I'll still probably try out LM again with Jeronimo once we can get a good time for us to both be on. He's really interested in the voxel tech. But I'm pretty sure that I'll be keeping the Empyrion server up at least until Dual comes out.

Here is the thing. All the other orgs post once maybe twice a week at most. you do that each and every day. So in comparison, yes, yes it is spamming. spam is stupid pointless annoying messages. while they may not be stupid or pointless by themselves they are highly annoying. The fact is you are pushing all other ORG posts off the community page which isnt honestly fair. continue on this path if you desire. but I know for certain you are creating enemies 2 years before a game is release. its friendly advise from other members of the community. Good luck in the future
edit: before you say something like "they should post more" they actually work hard on each post and make it custom made to fit du and don't go to google and rip off images.
Thank you for saying this. I work very hard on the few recruitment ads I do have time to make for my org. I spend a LOT of time and put a lot of thought into them. It's very frustrating to have them buried by spam from one org in less than an hour.

LOL, use your jet pack (press J) to help escape. Use it sparingly though, or you'll run out of fuel. There aren't too many mobs on our server, but there are a few. If you can get a good deal away, you should be OK for a little bit.
Hope to see you if you can make it. If there's a better time for you, just let me know. The weekends are pretty wide open for me. It's during the week that I have trouble with working late and all of that. I was actually thinking of maybe playing Sunday morning so that hopefully some of our overseas friends could attend too. It's just so hard to get us all together being scattered all over the world.

Yeah, we just set up a server and started playing a few days ago. The server is named, "The Outfit". Feel free to pop by any time. Its on 24/7. I'll be posting a couple of dates to play together some time this weekend. Just need to work out when is best.

Last nights Empyrion game night went pretty good! Fry, Deepnature and I played and Gallo hung out with us on Discord. Played until the wee hours! We also had another faction make an appearance on our server and start setting up their base, so looks like the arms race has begun!
We'll be doing another event for Empyrion next week. Details TBA.
In the meantime, we are playing Landmark on Friday night. All are welcome to attend. Details are posted on our site along with a free trial key for the game:

And the list goes on...web developer(s), community manager(s), social media manager, SEO, accountants, secretaries, hr, lawyers, consultants, etc. This is not an operation run by three guys in a basement. And ALL of these positions are paid positions and ALL are needed to run a successful business - even a business built around a game.
