KlatuSatori
I just found this article on rogue planets - planets without a star. It discusses what conditions they'd need to support life, and their potential for human colonisation. I enjoyed it, maybe some of you will too https://aeon.co/essays/could-we-make-our-home-on-a-rogue-planet-without-a-sun
vylqun
I think they'll be one of those rare interstellar encounters aside from other solar systems. The article is surprisingly well written
KlatuSatori
Even if there are tons of them out there, it surely would be so hard finding them.
Zen001
Love the idea of Rogue planets. But they would be very cold and very dark. Not much to see. But if you want to set up a secret base, can't think of a better place.
Dreamstar
Yes, please let me live in the darkness. no more hiding on the dark side of the moon. Free to live on either side of the darkness. Astrophil
Kiklix
Could be a fun thing in game. A great place for pirates and smugglers to co-habitat seeing as how just about everything would need to be ported in.

I'm not sure how rouge planets work, but i'm sure it could be difficult to find again unless you know where it is

The planets coordinates would just have to be manually entered and really only approachable (unless dumb luck) by ships with those coordinates.
