This is not a NQ supported answer: You should install the game. And when the launcher starts downloading, you kill the process. Then copy the directory in program files and launch back the launcher.

Then i agree with NQ intervening on this. We cant let new players stay behind while big orgs already have battle cruisers.

Lets not rage against uninformed ppl. They only commited 1 mistake, not understanding what beta is. Its ok. They are entitled to be fustrated. But know this, all those restarts and downtime are a result of NQ making progress with the game development. Some projects out there dont have several update daily because they are dead. We understand your fustration, but if you can keep with us for the 90 days you will see it was worth it.

Nope, i dont have to accept that. I can suggest an alternative. Make bots sell weapons for a absurd price that any player can undercut. That way anyone can buy weapons, and defend themselfs against the already existing pirates. And industrialists can gradually take over the market from bots once they decide to sell.

I belive that a player should be able to opt out of any part of the game, if he is willing to suffer the desavantage. Ppl should to opt-out crafting and industry, if they are willing to buy stuff at the price it exists. Ppl should be able to opt-out pvp if they dont mind being stranded on a safezone waiting for freight ships to sell them the high tier ore they need. The pvp free zones serve 2 proposes 1 so ppl can have 1 tile to park their constructs. 2 so new players can have a start without being immediately shot down. Having 1 single sanctuary moon already serves this propose. I do think the starter area should be alioth and all its moons. But i dont agree with pvp free zones in every planet.

Well, not knowing the directions does not mean that there is no town. I assume you started with 200k. You can go to a market and by parts to make a space capable ship just with those 200k. With that you can explore the system. About the bugs, i assume those will be fixed on the next days(serious ones) or weeks (soft ones).

Its not, 1 ip or even 1 server or even 1 datacenter. DU uses AWS. There are several parts and protocols involved. Each player connects to the closest AWS endpoint that NQ set up. If you want to know one of the ips you are connected, check your router for AWS reverse dnsed ips. Or use wireshark(free) to sniff all your network packages.

Well, you can ask for a kind soul to help you on support chat. Its not hard for some established player to buy you a speeder. But thank you for the feedback. NQ needs to be take crashed into account on tutorials.

But do you think the industrialists dont have their factories ready to start selling products? Or like me you think they have been producing for a long time but are trading outside of markets and only with allies?
