Trees with Collision Boxes?

I wonder if trees are ever going to get collision boxes or if they are going to remain holograms forever?

Haunty's correct! We removed the collision boxes on trees as a response to player feedback. Keep your eyes peeled, as may change in the future.

I would love to see tree collision come back - but they shouldn't be the immovable invincible objects they were.  An impact with a starter speeder at 200kph should kill both the tree and the speeder.  A 4KT hauler should plow through a forest and only loose a bit of speed (and mass).

As much as I hated the alpha trees and their invincibility, I do actually like this idea.

Seconded destructible trees! If only for revenge's sake for all the alpha players.

Have you guys considered gathering wood from trees? Or even logs that you then craft into wood with an industry unit?

That would potentially cause tears and players leave. So NQ wil not switch it back on because it's a risk  to their bottom line.
