0something0 Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 Planets won't revolve around their parent celestial body as far as we know but are we going to have moons of planets and maybe planetary rings? If so, they should revolve around their parent celestial body since they have relatively short revolution times.
Shockeray Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 I would think that you could get away with stationary rings without breaking immersion, but it would be nice if there could be orbiting moons. Although I suspect that you would run into the same issues of planets orbiting a star.
The_War_Doctor Posted August 4, 2017 Posted August 4, 2017 Based on dev vids we know there will be moons however i dont know if they move or anything

FD3242 Posted August 5, 2017 Posted August 5, 2017 Since the planet are planned to rotate the moon won't be static in the sky. Because of this I don't think this would be a good use of resources even if it was technically possible. Hextaku 1
