  1. Hello all I am in the process of building a network of Orgs built to help make a region of space a bit more livable. The first two I've built are the Free Lancers and the Squires, but there will be more to come. The Free Lancers are a mercenary organization geared towards the PVP aspects of the game, but are not just soldiers of fortune. Free Lancers will independently pursue contracts in Defense, Law Enforcement, and War, and will do so in accordance with territorial law (within reason). Working together with orgs like the Terran Union, the Free Lancers will help keep outer colonies safe for a profit and will be a great home for anyone who wants to get in on some space battles without mindlessly griefing or piracy. As the allied orgs tied to the Free Lancers continue to grow, there may be entire colonies affiliated with these organizations, so there will be plenty of opportunities for work that directly assists your neighbors. The Squires will work closely with the Free Lancers, mining and providing refined goods on a monthly basis in-exchange for a DAC. The Free Lancers themselves will have the option to take on Squires to provide the goods needed to keep their ships and bases running. Each Squire can take on one contract per month, for a fairly large quantity of material harvested in a legal way, in exchange for that Squire's monthly subscription. This org is geared towards players that don't want to spend a monthly amount to pay the game, and don't mind putting in a few hours to cover it. These contracts will be negotiated in a way that it will be a better deal for the Squire than trying to sell their ore for in-game currency and work the market for a DAC, and far less hassle. In the future, allied orgs such as the Terran Union may even opt to take on Squires if there is enough demand. Since this contract structure is designed to cover the subscription for these players, they cannot take on more than one of these contracts per 30 days. I plan to develop an organization for Research & Development, another for Colonization, and eventually a New Player Recruitment and Training organization that will effectively serve as a charity, creating "tutorial" contracts for new players to help teach them the ropes, get them enough items to become stable, and funnel them into the Squires, Colonization, Freelancers, or an allied org depending on their play style. (and yes, I'll be re-working the logos)

  4. well first let me introduce myself my name is the flying jackass (eltaradovolador in english) and my goal is to make a pirate organization and i have just to codes that if broken will be punished by death NEVER KILL YOUR COMRADES and WE SHALL NEVER STEAL FROM THE POOR AND DEFENSELESS so where do we get the money you may ask, from evil tyrants empires or any self proclaimed "good" organization while we defend the poor people or anyone in aid we shall be there to help Right now i'm looking for all kinds of players be it pvpers, miners, farmers, builders, scientist and conquerors so for rpers i got a guild backstory because i also want this organization to have some rp i wake up from a long slumber of the cold hard ground thinking about what had my village done wrong to deserve being enslaved and before i knew it i heard a big bang of an explosions nearby our enslavement camp. we were under attack of pirates but why would they attack our village if we had nothing of value, did they just want to end our lives, that's when i realized this wasn't your ordinary pirates they were blue sky pirates who protect the poor from evil tyrants so i grabbed my gun and started helping them with the attack, killing off many bad jailers and soldiers and at that time i meet one of the captains and fought along side him but i couldn't save him from being shot in the back and just when i had lost hope of him and the liberation of my people, more reinforcements came into the battlefield and finished off all remaining forces. after the battle was over i asked if i could join the sky pirates and they allowed me in. this is my story. hope i could make a good rp of a kid joining us leave a message down below if you have any questions and also leave some opinions about how i should continue building this band of pirates or have some helpful comment leave it down below, if you want to join send me a message to and who knows maybe we'll even have a discord sometime so off i go into the wild universe
  5. The Collective Welcome, citizen! I would like to introduce you to The Collective. Here at The Collective, we are striving to build an organization that works for it's members, whether they are an individual or a member of our alliance. After the destruction of our home, humanity has been given another chance here on Alioth; we at The Collective want to take advantage of this second chance by helping humanity achieve great things. To achieve our goals, The Collective hopes to establish itself as a large organization, supported by an alliance of groups working together. Those not belonging to a group are welcome to join The Collective itself - we will have many positions available, from miner to builder, politician to trader. We will have a military division as well, although our main focus militarily will be defense of our territories and alliance members; our stance in general will be neutral, but we will certainly defend ourselves against aggressors. For those groups looking to join our alliance, we will offer many benefits - mutual defense, shared resources, territories, combined recruiting and trade agreements. Whether you are a small mining group or a team of designers that love to build things, we would like to offer you a place within The Collective. We will need haulers to move things and traders to buy and sell things. Every job in the universe will be needed! Those groups worried about losing their independence by joining our alliance need not worry - alliance members are free to govern their organizations internally as they see fit, the only stipulations will be laid out to them during alliance negotiations. As far as governance, we will be have a Stellar Council that is selected by the Archon. This Council will help with running the overall operations of The Collective, as well as advising the Archon. The number of seats on this Council has not been set as of yet. There will additionally be a Board of Directors that will consist of either the leader or an appointed member from each group within the Alliance. The purpose of the Board of Directors is to allow effective communication between all member groups and to vote on issues that affect the Alliance as a whole - the Archon will preside as the President of the Board and will have veto power, with a 2/3 majority required to override the veto. This Board will not have governance over The Collective itself, only over the alliance. All parties interested in joining The Collective must agree to abide by our Code of Conduct, which are fairly simple. Code of Conduct Show respect for everyone, whether a member of The Collective or not. No hackers, exploiters, thieves, bandits, griefers or other criminals will be allowed in The Collective. No attacking fellow members of The Collective or alliance members without permission. Generally, we are an 18+ organization, with very rare exceptions made.   6. Ok don't hate!! I know this is an MMO ... and yes I know what that acronym stands for BUT!!! people are different and unique and I am just curious on how people plan on playing DU. Please no "Don't play an MMO if you don't want to play with people" posts on here. From what I understand about what is planned for DU there will be the option to play this game either solo or with others .... and both. The more people working together the faster bigger projects can be completed is obvious but there are those who like the satisfaction of doing it all on their own. It is also obvious the more people the more security there is but then again there are those who like to thrive in the shadows as well. I am curious to how many people plan on playing in what way. Please remember people are different so please no hate or attack posts but discussion and debate is encouraged. Thanks
  7. Hey gotta say this game looks really promising. I don't sign up or do anything this early for games (not even TOR which I was like a kid waiting for Christmas) however this game can be a game changer haha. I've played many MMO's ranging from p2p to f2p and even p2w. I would say TOR and EVE have been my favs and ones that kept my interest long enough to play for more than a few months. Still have a sub with Eve but DU looks to maybe be the one to pull me away from it. Still lots of time before release, 1st quarter 2017 it the planned point of Alpha release , but I have to say from the XP youtube vids seeing what has been created so far it looks to be the dream game many of us have been wishing for. Most things have not even been implemented into the game so many pit falls may not have been realized yet but compared to many early release games DU looks to already surpassed shortcomings of others. SOOOooooooooooooo ... Dual Universe ... Warfare and Economic aspects ... Yin (Ying) and Yang ... name seemed appropriate. Bad and Good, Destroyer and Creator, Demon and Angel ... this is what I am about and what I see the organization being about. In general for games I love being economically superior in order to support my military superiority. Same with the organization. Looking for same minded individuals who like to create in order to destroy (destroy others of course ) . I value organized individuality; you do what you want to do but have friends for support/groups/big projects. In a universe that looks to be this free and open, I see this organization not limiting the individual's freedom but does ask for loyalty. If someone threatens our freedom then we turn the switch on; creators enjoying life to destroyers spreading wrath ... welcome to the Yin Yang Federation.
  8. Hello and good day fellow DU Pioneer With this topic i'd like to introduce the Society Observing Universal Life. A less complicated connection for people who want to focus more on gameplay and not administrating some corporation, organization, or any sort of order with rank and privileges. Instead of privileges and authority which many others have, you will be pleased by being free from such burdens. Soul will not be an anarchy, hierarchy, monrachy nor any capitalism, theocracy or anything like that. If you need anything to compare it could be called anarchy or more likely equalism. Yes there will be members who do some chores for SOUL but that is all voluntary and all are free to do so as well or never engage in chores. Only two easy rules: 1. Treat members as equals and remain neutral to the Universe, you are free to do what you do on your own responsibility. 2. Attend the meetings which are neither regular, nor are only announced by officials. Every member will have authority to call for meetings. (Will be further explained for members) There is no requirement for joining, but since some roleplayers tend to do funny things ill elaborate a few details: a.) In case you are part of a rival faction of another members faction, it is in your own interest to treat each other equally and not as enemys unless you are in a battlefield fighting for your faction. Meaning if you do fight eachother, it will not be as members of SOUL. So when you two are alone and not on orders by your other factions superior, its rational to treat eachother as SOUL members. b.) Should your intention for joining be the gathering of information (spying, eavesdropping, etc.) you are free to do so, as a neutral and free group it may also be possible that members will be trying to help or sabotage your activity. Meaning that we do not care about spys in our midst. Since DU is still in progress and undergoing changes, so is it possible that SOUL will change.

From there it splits into four Categories: Military, Diplomacy, Industry and Science. Universal and the leaders form a committee. These members will decide on important decisions within Hammertime. ~~~ History Hammer Time is a 4 year-old gaming community that started out as a community in Planetside 2, we were known for combining large scale structured operations and casual play. Since Planetside, members of our community have branched off and formed their own groups in many other games such as Black Desert Online, ArmA 3, Seven Days To Die and Star citizen. We have since largely moved out of PlanetSide 2, only now doing casual operations from time to time. The majority of the community are moving to other games, the most notable of which being Star Citizen and Dual Universe. Our community is heavily based inside our Teamspeak server which is active and a great place to hang out with friends. We host community events and with our own private server, and also host many of our community private servers including our own forums and website. Hammer Time Gaming is a semi-casual mainly Oceanic gaming community that can easily switch between casual and serious. We enjoy playing together over many games and talking with each other over teamspeak, we are very friendly and welcoming so long as you don’t mind some shit talking every now and then. ~~~ About Us HMMR aims to be the leading edge of militaristic might, while not flaunting our power to excess we aim to watch from the shadows and step in to protect Cinderfall, other alliances and of course our own assets. War We do not wish to directly initiate in warfare though we will not hesitate to defend ourselves or those we affiliate with. Trade around the coalition will take priority. Members will be receiving benefits including discounts and trade of weapons including other items. Although we are heavily military focused, we welcome people with all kinds of specialisation and can easily cater for them. Once a version of the game is released we will organise training and practice sessions so we can become familiar with the game and are able to protect ourselves and others. These guys run world class salt mines.) 6) Do not discriminate about sexual orientation what so ever we will not tolerate it. During times of ops and events, we will expect you to behave a little more in line than “the usual” though that being said, we are very casual most of the time as we are just here to enjoy ourselves. Drama: Certain populous organizations and their legate have been concocting rumors about COPS. Legates from other some what populous organizations have made assumptions about COPS and presented these as facts. In every case these people are wrong and only serve to create drama. There is no reason for all the hate I have received and COPS has received. I am done 'playing' with a community full of children. ​EDIT: Removed this section due to clarification by Novaquark. ​ ​​I would like to thank everyone who made the decision to join cops. I am sorry it could not pan out. I wish you all well, I wish Novaquark the best. COPS - Coalition Of Pirates & Smugglers. The arkships landed. We woke anew, scared, unsure. Groups formed, factions aligned. Power corrupted. For all the efforts to save our species, the millennia we traveled, we reverted almost instantly back to that old human nature. WHAT IT'S LIKE: Ever want to pilot the Millenium Falcon? Ever dream to have a crew who works together like Firefly? You want to be that solo guy who searches for bounties like Boba Fett and his Slave I? This is how we dream to play and we intend to play this way. However Dual may require efforts from a larger group. If this is true, we just want to have a system in place so that people can come together to fullfill their visions. We want solo play, but under the safety net of a larger organization. WHAT WE ARE NOT: ​We are NOT GRIFERS. COPS are pirates, smugglers, outcasts, ninjas, mercenaries in the ROLE play sense, NOT in the griefing sense. THE BREAKDOWN: • Enrollment: Some will get invited, some will inquire. If you want to be part of a free alliance just ask. • Primary language: English and gibberish. • Timezone: Only mega corps keep up with time. • Goal: Solo or co-op gameplay within a larger group. We all like to do our own thing, but somtimes you need to be part of something larger or you will get left behind. COPS is an organization created and designed to bring together like minded people who prefer to play solo without constraints of typical guild requirements (be here on X day, at Y time to raid Z...ya its tiresome). We realize people have limited time to play and that real life takes place first. That being said, Dual Universe looks like this might be a game where cooperation and collaberation are keys to success. If we find this to be true, there might be more expected collaborative gamplay required. We don’t want to force anything on anyone, but just ask people to step up if it is required to do so. In the end it’s not about making a large guild rich, its about making sure your needs are met, our mutal needs are met. We endevor to create an enviroment where co-op game play is actually fun and rewarding. SO WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? • Security: Safety in numbers. • Community: A network of people to work together with if so desired. • Freedom: Free to play your way but with the undertanding that freedom requires effort and work. There will be times we need to work together, its the only way to keep an alliance strong. • A Trade network. Not sure how Dual is going to work with trade, but within a group there will be communication lines. We will be able to trade with each other and help keep our alliance strong. • Veteran ship builders: We have members who have crafted some of the finest voxel ships to ever exist. Our fleet will impress, this I can promise. • Veteran home builders: We have members who have crafted some of the finest voxel sci-fi mega structures to exist. Our home world wont look like a cut rate hostel. • PVP: Lets face it, even if you only care for PVE, PVP might and will happen at some point. If you intend to fly in a ship, once you are out of the ark safe zone, pvp will happen. We intend to create smart ship designs that will help to ensure pvp victories, but you will need to know how to fly it. • PVE: We know some people have no interest in PVP. Hopefully we can get a civilization started with trade, harvesters, crafters etc. It’s good to have folks who specialize in these categories. • Exploring: It’s at the heart of Dual Universe, of course we will explore! • If i can be done in Dual, we intend on experiencing that content in one way or another. GOVERNMENT: Don’t really intend on having some massive over inflated group of power hungry people running the show. I have no interest in that, however there does need to be a head or some form. Castles have kings, homes have breadwinners. Even a pack of wolves looks to their Alpha. I intend on holding the main key of power or have it distributed among a very close group of friends. Those who know me know I fight tooth and nail for the little guy, for honesty and integrity. I have no intent on telling you how to play or what to do...but internal conflicts will occur and those will need to be resolved. We want everyone to be happy and to play together...its the best recipe for success. If COPS sounds like a style of gamplay that you find appealing, speak to Kiklix or LadyAstrum.

The corporation is controlled by the CEO and a Council of three directors. Corporate assets are divided into three main branches; each responsible for a major aspect of Corporate operations, and manned by specialists with appropriate skills. Each branch is independent to a degree as each is controlled by one of the three directors, but ultimately answer to the CEO. The branches are: Objective Navy: As the military branch, the Navy is responsible for protecting Corporate interests from external threats. The Navy is lead by the Strategos, one of the members of the Corporate Council and the highest ranking officer within the fleet. The Navy controls the majority of the Corporate Fleet, and draws from Corporate personnel with skills particular to any and all aspects of combat. These roles can include: Pilot - Pilot specializing in either strike craft or larger warships. Commander - Officer in command of a large, crewed warship. Crew - Entry level warship crew, manning the critical stations on larger vessels. Security - Infantry unit skilled in ground combat. Combat Engineer - Field engineer skilled in building/repairing constructs in combat situations. Intelligence Agent - *REDACTED* Objective Industries: The circulatory and digestive system of the Corporation, controlled by a Director who is part of the Corporate Council. This branch is responsible for mining and refining raw materials, manufacturing components and equipment, and ultimately constructing ships. While the Navy controls most of the Corporate fleet, Indi Ops controls most of the Corporate shipyards. Ships and equipment produced by this branch are first researched and designed by the R&D branch. Indi Ops can also manufacture hulls and equipment to be sold on contract to other factions. Indi Ops personnel fill the follow roles: Miner - Raw resource extraction. Technician - Refining and manufacturing. Engineer - Industrial construction/development. Shipwright - Shipyard operation, starship construction. Objective Dynamics (R&D: The scientific branch of the Corporation, lead by a head Technocrat who is part of the Corporate Council. This branch develops tech and designs blueprints, conducts exploration, and tech mining. Blueprints can be designed on contract to be sold to other factions, or strictly for corporate use. Roles include: Researcher - Develops new designs and blueprints to be tested and refined. Explorer - Lone wolf pilots looking to explore under a Corporate Charter. Tech Agent - Specialist skilled in capturing and reverse-engineering tech and blueprints.   15. The 47th Legion is a military themed, North American based player association. The 47th engages in a wide variety of in-game activities to include PvE, PvP, crafting/trading, exploration, and colonization. The 47th prides itself on professionalism and esprit de corps which are our core principles. We hold our Legionaries to a high standard and prohibit any and all types of exploiting and cheating. Teamwork and collective effort are mantras the 47th Legion lives by. We explore in a squad, move in a squad, and we all do what we can to contribute to the Legion. Our Legionaries provide materials for the crafters who in turn provide gear back to the Legionaries. If you like to go and do things your own way, then the 47th isn't for you. The 47th was originally established in 2007 as an offshoot of a Star Wars Galaxies guild from the Chilastra server. By the time of the NGE a lot of interest in SWG had been permanently lost. A deployment or two later I became highly interested in Tabula Rasa and chose to start my own player organization for the game with a few SWG guildmates which came to be known as the 47th A.F.S. Expeditionary Force, or 47th A.F.S.E.F.. Around the time of TR's closure Earthrise caught the 47th's interest. We waited for Earthrise for over three years and were finally able to step foot on Enterran soil at game launch. Unfortunately Earthrise was plagued with launch issues, lacked basic and rudimentary features, had an extremely unoptimized client which ran very poorly, had a small community, and incredibly slow patch releases. In June of 2011 we decided to quit Earthrise. Moving on from there we briefly dabbled in Star Wars: The Old Republic though in the end the game was simply the antithesis in design of everything we actually enjoy in an MMO. A few months later we started following the development of the Trion Worlds and SyFy collaboration known as Defiance. We greatly enjoyed the game and show and quickly rose to being the most dominant guild on the PC platform. Unfortunately, Trion World's interest in future development of the title quickly waned and the game is all but abandon-ware at this point. After exiting Defiance we've focused mainly on multiplayer sandboxes such as Empyrion: Galactic Survival, Space Engineers, Miscreated, DayZ, Ark: Survival Evolved, RUST, and various ArmA 3 mods over MMOs. The 47th is an excellent environment for current and past members of the armed forces. Many of our Legionaries are prior service (I personally served in the U.S. Army for seven years as a 19D Cavalry Scout: FIRST TEAM!) and enjoy being around other prior service Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines; we welcome and encourage you to join! At present we are currently gathering intelligence and planning the best path through the game to achieve our goals as quickly as we can after launch. All recruits who enlist prior to the launch of Dual Universe will be entered into our NCO Development program upon completion of their Battle Readiness Checklist.
