@TrihXeen More like learn what X materials work better with Y materials. What I don't want is a "recipe book" in the game, throwing out any expertise the player has out of the window, making crafting items and building a dull process. For example, having certain materials being more tuned towards energy absorption if they are blended together with another material that makes them more sturdy. That kind of thing. Not making the research into "Gather 10 of X, 30 of Y, 40 of Z, and voila, you are a l33tzor builder, congrats, you waited 24 hours to upgrade". It won't have to be what I described, but certainly not a "Countdown to Victory" kind of upgrade.

@Shynras And make destroyed ships salvageable. That would allow for recycling of materials.

@Shynras I am hoping for a "taxation" plan for claimed territories, like in Lineage 2. It would make for some excellent politics in game. That would make prosperous PvE players and merchants having to hire PvP corporations as goons or militia. Symbiotic relationship. Emergent Gameplay.

If the game goes the way of logic and science (and stuff), would it be a good thing having an economy path based on creating things like uranium-238 ( a very basic example ), by running "farms" of said isotope harvesting devices, which in turn could be manufactured into the fuel spaceships require to function? Cause I'm tots down for running a gas station in space

@Fitorion Technically it would O_O You get the point. Even though it sounds cool, think of how much material you would have to mine and lift up into space. Makes sense to build a city on the ground. And if you build in space, at least build it near a jump point so you can make the moneyh from acting as a gas station as well. Just sayin'.

PvP is managing players. Tucking people into beds is called baby-sitting. One is emergent gameplay, the other is REEEEEALLY getting weird. -
@Sledgehammer Read AttacKat's comments. My comment was oriented towards those comments. @AttacKat What part of "a sandbox game with Emergent Gameplay" did you not understand? What you are asking is for a stale, stationary world where nothing happens (like WoW). Where PvP is a TDM (Team Deathmatch) or Capture the Flag, in a controlled enviroment, without any real outcome. Is that what you are asking for? PvP without consequences? Cause if so, no, THIS game is not for you.

Sounds boring to have to go through a frigging sequence to log out. Don't bring bureocracy into a video game. I know you want realism, but not that much. -
@Cosmicdragon So, you wanna build planets... O.o why? You will have to mine a planet in order to build a planet. That's like... recycling unused paper to print unused paper.

Well, either ships are gonna disappear with a 1 min timed logout, or you will make logging out a choir. Pick and choose. -

@Kuritho Whaaat? O.o The attackers have their spawn stations with them, the defenders as well. The Defenders are THERE and fortified, the attacker if they lose their respawn stations, they lost. And mass is not the same between a ship and a space station mate.
