  2. So an engine that acts like those from a harrier? I like the idea, fewer engines though, this would have to be a T3+ justt due to mechanics, I like it.

Honestly I think it's the number of concurrent processes going on, which will eventually create an issue later on, the server itself may end up having to be rewritten to deal with it eventually, which may eventually create a wipe. I think they should come up with an idea to stress a test server with duplicates of the same processes going on x10 to create slack on the server side.
  5. EVE-Online grouping/icons into associated buttons 1-0 O_O - active in chair only/when flying - can be changed in options menu. Keep UI for weapon chance to hit etc for data purposes.

  9. Would be great to get a XS element for constructs that lets you link upto 10 ( + ) Assembly units to a "Short Cut" gui of sorts, same some walking if you have everything setup for specific element runs and need to simply change production.
  10. Choices for market containers should be a nil value unless there are items in there, and a visibility flag that reads it to keep the ui cleaned up and to allow players to find things much easier, I am think of eve online, hundreds of markets, but they only show if you have something there.
  11. Newbie area, should be moved into Ark ship, and then when your done with orientation, you can hop onto a simple shuttle for a slow ride to a district, that's another one to add to flesh it out.

Ctrl+Click with "Place Element" tool. -New behavior, refresh element based on character skills, must be empty however. -MAJOR QoL update for many players after they have been playing for a while and they've upped alot of skills. You can use it on ship engines, brakes, etc without having to replace/adjust every piece that is already there, aside from containers/fuel tanks. Same with bases. Or in tandem have a construct refresh tool, that refresh all elements/voxels within construct exluding containers/fuel tanks.

  14. Merge them, it's silly, then it doesn't matter how many ppl dump their vehicles there. At this point in time, it's a bad first image going into a game with a decent CPU and it immediately lags. Real turn off to some people. Yes, it's Beta, but we need more testers, not people that just plop right off when they got their hopes up. Just my thoughts, I know there are others.
  15. Linking currently works with just click, then link to object. Another addition to add to it for when your "Retooling" your factory. Ctrl+L click - Highlights Industry and shows links, in BLUE out Orange for clicked machine, connected machines come up blue and clicked industry comes up green. Just a bit of color coding to make it easier to deal with links. Also, after Ctrl+L click, all other links not connected to X industry are now hidden from view.
  16. Eventually we'll have other stuff to throw down there, it WILL get monotonous having to swap things out all the time.
  17. How about a "Press ? for build mode/dig mode" then have a seperate pallete you can pull up for tools via menu? Keep it two bars with shift+1/2 to switch between them.

I hate to bring them up with a new game, but I think my favorite market systems are EVE Online and TradeSkill/Brokes Addon from World of Warcraft, used to use those ALL the time when buying selling. Those are the only two market systems. On another note, connecting all markets isn't that bad of an idea, and to not hurt immersion, maybe have inv ships flying back and forth would make it seem realistic as well. though again that increase server load some.
  20. replace cores, all of them with a base core and replace current tiers with a core cpu that you can swap out :3, base core would check internal inv upon receive an item and inherit that items stats.
  21. That would be another load on an already stressed server, though the aesthetics would be nice.
  22. Asteroids would be another option, crashing into unclaimed/ away from constructs. O how happy would you be to see a burning mass fused with T2/3 resources just out there smoking for you.
  23. To re-iterate if X ore has Y mass in Z area, remove it from scanner. Or it just won't show up, if your clearing a place out by hand, mark it with bookmark.
