  1. Yes - JC popping in DU chat on Thursday is what I just heard
  2. https://www.dualuniverse.game/legal/terms-and-conditions No. You don't. You, the person, have been banned from using the forum. Not an alter ego pseudonym.
  3. in case of any doubt 'Johnny', if that is you... “You,” “Your” or “the User” refers to the person who uses or visits Our Website. If you thought forum bans related to fictional entities that have no legal status then I suggest you seek professional psychiatric help. If, on the other hand, you think NQ's rules just don't apply to you, then a 'member of the community' is not what you are. At least not a respectable one whose word should mean anything.
  4. So, you can't buy copper or calcium schematics on Alioth (which are sources of the two ores to make them)?? Seriously??
  5. so, you're admitting you (the person) have been banned from this forum, but you are continuing to post anyway? you don't see that as a violation of ToS? you, and all your accounts, should be permabanned for flagrant violation of your current ban. as I said earlier, you are a troll, I also suspect you're toxic, and I'm sure the community would be better off without you.
  6. The joke is that JC is doing this to stimulate a working economy. I looked for sale orders for 'uncommon electronics' earlier today, just before patch. There were 3 orders. That's it. 3. For a T2 part. All were well over 30 minutes travel round trip. Dysfunctional does not even begin to describe what this patch has already done to the economy in DU.
  7. Big question here is what happens to damage on cores that are not destroyed? Big difference between 50 HP for an XS core and 11,000 plus HP for an L core. But if you can't fix damage at all, any damage is going to cost a new core, or you're flying a ship with a greater chance of going dead on you from grazing a rock that rendered out of nowhere.
  8. This right here is problem number one. Telling your customers that they should do what you want. That is disgusting and disrespectful customer service. It is also 100% incompatible with the 'emergent' gameplay he claims he wants to see. Problem number two is they are increasing barriers to entry into a full game experience before they are building enablers that allow people to overcome the barriers. They need to rebrand this game as DON'T.
  9. you joined the community yesterday at 9:45? you're a troll - bye
  10. Just read patch notes for current patch. There is no mention of how schematics interact with RDMS. There is no clarification of whether a schematic is an item that can also be stored in inventory or containers, or is purely an entity that exists in markets and industry. Please clarify these as a matter of urgency. If you are asking orgs to pay billions for something, we should all have written clarification of how these things are supposed to work, so that we can feed back if, and inevitably when, they behave in a way that was not intended.
  11. did you re-read the OP? they have changed the rule about multi-boxing - it is allowed
  12. I would have agreed with this, except that they have changed the rule, so clearly this is not about what EQU8 does or does not allow, those are clearly just settings that NQ implemented, and changed, so that then becomes what NQ allow or don't allow, not just a technical limitation. Also, the scenario with two people in a household sharing a pc. If they have the same, common login, not designated individual user logins, then you won't know who is accessing whose account. So clearly that part was always about ToS, not a technical limitation aspect of EQU8. As far as I know, EQU8 won't stop me playing DU if I use my friend's IP or pc if I visit him for a week?
  13. So, rather than reply to a direct question, NQ have edited the post and postdated the edit? This is not what was written when I asked mid October, but if you look at the 'last edited' section of the OP it is first week October? Not helpful.
  14. Another variant of this is you land one core too close to a smaller core on a space station landing platform, and when you fly off later you look around and see the smaller core attached itself to you and you've now hijacked it.
  15. 18km I chased a ship falling to a planet three days ago. Kinda glad it's not just me the ECU does this to, but yes, they need to fix this first.
  16. Last night I warped. I'd got 1/3rd of the way to my destination when the game stalled. I'm in the EU and this was around midnight UTC, so I believe more server resource sent to other side of Atlantic? I ended up out of game after around five to ten minutes of frozen screen, just so I could get some progress, which was slow boating my cargo back to Sanctuary. Anyway, my question is, what happens to me in the post update world in that scenario? Do I log back in, not in my pilot seat, with my ship travelling at warp speed? Will the ship carry me along at that speed, or am I likely to fall off if I'm on a hover seat or command chair that isn't enclosed? Will my ship brake the way it normally does in a warp jump, or do I now crash into a planet at warp speed, as no amount of turn and burn or retro brakes will slow me down from that speed to anything resembling a safe speed? Oh, and thanks for trying to fix manuever tool and logout issues, but it does sound very much like fixing one issue is creating others here. On the journey out we warped with a space only dynamic core and deployed the landing craft, with space only held on ECU. The docking failed and I had to chase the lander. When I finally caught up to it it was 18km away from the space core. The only thing that stopped us crashing was that I'd used manuever to hold the ship in place when we noticed it falling, while my friend filled up the fuel tanks. Fix docking before nerfing manuever please.
  17. Hey, I got news for you pal. You have Zero rights to my stuff. Don't matter how big your guns are. Don't matter how much you cry to NQ that they won't let you rob hard working people blind. And this new state changes nothing in relation to that.
  18. I still find it mighty peculiar that "scrap" in this game is not made up from broken parts of things that used to work. Oh, and what do "recyclers" do again, they certainly do not actually recycle anything Also, yes, there is a need to break the cube meta, and yes, the economy needs a lot more work to make it approximate anything functional, but why are we hearing about distractions away from the roadmap, instead of more progress towards the roadmap? And don't tell me that's because they have one team working on new roadmap features and another team working on new features that aren't in the roadmap? Don't get me wrong, I like surprises, well, I like some surprises. Other surprises I hate. But when I get on a train, plane or bus and find out half way there that they are taking a long detour in a direction they didn't declare in advance, well, you can guess my reaction...
  19. 'Advancement'? You joke? Losing the ability to make more complex things with existing resources is the opposite of 'advancement'.
  20. Why is there only one comment so far on the industry side when it sounds like they seem to have just invalidated 100% of industry blueprints by bringing in a system where you need machines that don't exist yet to make parts you are already making?
  21. I hear some tested shooting NQ staff's ships too, and that seems to have been fun also
  22. Very glad I was wrong about that, but it was how he interview sounded. Read Kurock's story about it the other day. Hear you're the chap to talk to about cartwheeling trucks
  23. So, I'm looking at the talents "Polycarbonate Plastic Honeycomb Refining/Productivity" and "Silumin Honeycomb Refining/Productivity" and honestly wondering what they actually work on? I was wanting something to make carbon fiber honeycomb cheaper, but none of them apply. I figured out one applies to Plastic, but still at a loss about what teh Silumin one is for??
  24. Hi, really enjoying a lot of things in this game, but a couple of things are really confusing me, and don't seem to be properly explained anywhere, could you help? Both relate to Orgs. Is it only the Super Legate of an Org that can claim territory for an Org? If not, how do you enable that? Likewise, how do you enable placing constructs under Org ownership (for people who are not the Super Legate). I get that you can use construct keys (when they work, they bug out on me a lot), I mean specifically how do you place a core and deploy it for the Org from the start (as I say, construct keys bug out for me, so would rather avoid that method). Main reason I'm asking this is because if the Super Legate has to be very hands on (i.e.going to every planet his org wants territory on) then that is a very different leadership model from any that actually work in the real world cheers
  25. When you say 'the market'... ...all your orders on Market 15 only, or all your orders?
