Question how will not having AVA effect territory warfare? If you destroy the territory market and take the territory what can they do? Watch?

Beta and alpha means different things to different companies. While I agree in most cases it means feature complete. Well DCS World is a released product and they are constantly adding new features and updating the graphics. So is it not a released product or is it an alpha?

The difference is I am patient. I have waited nearly ten years for Star Citizen. 9 years for Cyberpunk 2077. I played WWII online for ten years, Eve Online for 15, Mortal Online for 8. So to say I am in a game for the long haul I mean it. If people don't have patience then that's on them. Sorry that today's "Gib now!" There is a fair amount of assumptions in that post. Do you actually know NQs financial situation? No. Do you know how hard they are actually working on things? No. Do you know the abilities or willingness of the developers? Of course not. So we have determined this to be more trash.

I have no problems except with the victim culture and virtue signaling spineless saps that are everywhere today. "Oh waaaah something didn't go my way!!!!". "Oh waaaah someone said something I didn't agree with CANCEL THEM!". So if you quit playing or unsubscribe to the game and your stuff is just left littered everywhere. Why would it matter if it goes to salvage to you? You quit. Savvy?

More communication would be nice. But they lost their CM for whatever reason. So they don't have a mouth piece. I would rather them work on things and develop the game then spend time chatting it up with us here.

In EVE Online they have gone through over two dozen CMs. CIG has gone through 4 since they switched over to Spectrum. World of Warcraft has gone through probably a hundred. So..... As I said before and I will say this again. The CM position is not a permanent position it is very fluid and volatile. People come and go like water through a pipe.

It is in early beta. I can't think of one game that I have played in the last 30 years that is anything near where it was on early beta.

Postponed is different than cancelled. The NBA season was postponed last year. And it is still planned. It's not like they suddenly said, "we decided we aren't going to have PVP and well AvA is to hard so we will only have premade constructs allowed from our very small selection.

You are right. They had a choice not to do what they did.... They had a choice not to flaunt it. What's the saying? Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

I haven't fired up KSP in years. I have over 8k hours in that game but I ran a realism overhaul version.

You have no facts. Yes NQ said they will have an end goal of AvA. Now are we anywhere near that end goal? No. Have they violated any of the terms set forth in the kickstarter or on their sales page? No. There is a difference between speculation, assumptions and facts. Right now you have an abundance of the first two and none of the last.

If you feel that way. Good luck proving that in court. I am no lawyer but I can already tell you that claim by itself carries about as much weight in court as trying to sue NASA for allegedly faking the moon landings.

CCP wasn't a AAA developer 18 years ago when EVE was in beta and they lost one of their first CMs. CIG is far from a AAA developer they try to be but they have had more turnover than two game companies combined. Wurm Online literally lost one of its co-creators during development. He went on to creat Minecraft.

Fair enough. That's your opinion. The CM has nothing to do with development, it is a shame but CMs come and go in MMOs. If you feel the "ship is sinking" then feel free to go. Just be kind and give someone active your stuff.

No I got what you said. This is why I brought up the AI defense. Which was supposed to be something that came later. I remember that being brought up in a Q&A a while ago. I mean there is going to be no way to protect anyone's ground bases come territory warfare. It will be nothing but off hour hex grabs.
