  1. I am also fortunate in that I am able to work from home and not have any decrease in pay. I know many who have not been so fortunate Other than that, it hasn't affected me all that much. I'm a pretty laid back person and kind of just take what is available. As long as I can exercise, work, make money, and play games.... I am 100% good to go Wish you the best though!
  2. I've never actually much worried about a specific hex when searching for ores. I've always wanted to go towards the closest ore deposit of whatever i'm looking for. Are there any other benefits to single-hex ore gathering? When i'm on a planet, I don't think of it as hexes (even though it is set up that way on the map). It would, in a sense, be similar to setting it so 'plains only' ore searching, know what I mean? Though I don't doubt that there may be some additional benefits I'm not seeing.
  3. Welcome Golden! Hit me up in game if you have any questions! Name: Galactic_Ruin
  4. In-Depth Explanation of the different divisions will be explored. Please keep in mind, as this is a new empire, it will take some time to set things up. We will be working towards this set-up. Updates for all divisions will be following this one in the future. Mining Division Structure Headed by a top Divisional Officer, and broken into planetary locations or ore type (This will be up to the Officer in charge of this division Whether broken up by planet location or ore type, each will have its own Division Lead appointed by the officer.

    Structural Tree

First, I must apologize if this topic has come up. But how about a structural tree, like a blowout, of a design when looking through the crafting menu? Maybe have a button that will pop it up into something similar to an exploded view. It would show all components needed for each sub-component, and all of their sub-components too. Maybe then give a summary for all like-components on the side in a list with total QTY needed all added up.
  8. This is the forgotten post, lost in the middle of a thread nightmare. If you are reading this, you have WAY too much time on our hands, thumbing through the massive amount of pages that is this topic. But, if that time is available. Stop by and say hi to me in game .. Galactic_Ruin .. Mention this post and we can both have a laugh.
  9. Yeah I don't think a sandbox mode would ever happen. Once you provide everything a game has to offer without the struggle of actually obtaining it, then the games value essentially decreases. Imagine if a game like WoW allowed a 'free' mode where they gave everyone max gear to run through dungeons. Why would anyone spend the time to struggle to get that gear in the first place? Sure there might not be drops, but if you already had everything drops would be worthless anyways. It would be fun at first, but you would quickly lose interest. The trial and erro
  10. The main difference with this organization is how the divisions are implemented. These divisions give all members the freedom to experience different aspects of the game in whatever order they choose. Once set up and filled out, it will work like this: You join the guild and want to join in the mining division. You meet like-minded individuals who have been around for awhile and know all the tricks to the trade. After some time, you realize your interest is much more involved with creating things instead of the actual mining itself. You will have the freedom to move
  11. As with all empires, they start with little more than a spark. And so the spark has been ignited, giving birth to the Gaveen Empire. We aim to be known throughout the cosmos, focusing on all aspects of life ranging from simple mining expeditions to complex territorial wars. We aim to explore, gather, create, build, fight, and conquer. There is no limitation to what we will be able to accomplish. There is no time like the present. Though the empire is in its infancy, it will be in its infancy only once. Not is the time to join and be here from the beginning. Learn with t
