    Firstly I know it works both ways between factions but did NQ learn from the vast Quanta they can bring in?  There are people literally making 50-60m per day.  Yes they have alts and a system is in place so they can work out XYZ on optimising the route/packages.  Whilst it is rarer to get the same 'special mission' it still happens and of course you can work out so similar packages from AtoB.  Throw in 2 SU radar range the risk/reward comparable to physically mining is none existant.  Thus we are pushing again so early on to billionaires once again.  I kinda had hope NQ worked this out but seems sadly not!

     

    So now better to go missions as less risk than heading to an asteroid as an asteroid your on a fixed point for while mining so constantly in a risk.  Alternative is more ways to track things in wider space is much needed!

    Is it me or is NQ so unusually quiet both in discord and announcements?  This week a month of release will hit and to be fair the majority of MMO's I've played always showcase a 'whats coming' to entice people to re-sub and get excited about.  We've seen nothing from NQ and its ashame to be honest.  Add in that nothing major in updates has happened in sometime its a little concerning overall.

     

    So NQ whats going down ? :) let us know something to get the hook in!

    Yes, I want all those planets/moons back. The reason I'm currently active at M6 is because I'm building up my manufacturing/mining capacity. The same situation as early beta, just highly accelerated and more massive. Honestly what's driving me at the moment is the opportunity to move to a new planet when they are re-released. I don't yet know if I go with the second/third wave of planets or wait for the last wave , but colonizing I will do.

     

    But I understand that pvpers want a DU 'easy mode'. Less places were people can be, more like shooting fish in a barrel... 😉 I'm more of a pvp avoid-er and I can tell you from beta that more planets/moons means less ambushes as pvp corps can't keep every planet/moon/route interdicted 24/7.

     

    Actually PvP isnt easy mode at all.  Radar's need to be vastly increased in range or 'pings' added.  The amount of missions quanta being made is ridcilous for the risk/reward.

     

    The reason I'm less keen is worlds need a purpose.  A purpose that mean something than just mining units gathering dust.

    I hope the planets will reappear in new star systems. In addition, you can then add planets that cannot be entered (gas giants, very hot metal planets).

    This would make new game mechanics possible, such as gas and energy extraction in space (etc.).

    Not really as even before that it was dead as it was so spread out all over the place.  Freeport a good example was dead over 14 months ago and they were based on Teoma.  It just appears wasted system resources.  I guess I'd really want planets to have a REAL bonus to migrate and be active (not mining unit wastelands).

     

    PvP content is spread out anyway now so its more from PvE perspective.

    That 10 players can somehow get 200kL of ore per day from a 1L per hour tile even using a single size S mining unit is a stupid game mechanic.

    Join an org.  Or an alliance.  Plenty of ways around this.

     

    I went today to safe zone roids and got plenty of ore still.

    2. Only being craftable in inventory is beyond frustrating for your smaller/casual audience.

    It will kill your game in the long run. How is money distributed to players? By selling ores to bots? *Insert big brain .jpg here*
    So the entire goal of this game is to grind T1 ore to sell it to bots, to be able to afford schematics for their production. Buying stuff/parts from other players in the markets isnt worth it since they will put the schematic price on top.

    I quit during alpha/beta when schematics were introduced and came back to review this on release. This system is still beyond garbage, considering I have to manually look up all the schematics needed for a product. Should at least give people the option to "Que up all required schematics for this element" button.

    Is it because you want to make everything?  I see schematics as if your solo you can focus in one area.  Collectively you can do much much more.  Quanta was too freely avalaible previously as a combo if missions, one time schematics obtaining and more.

     

    Although duration/cost is a burden there have been hints at talents reducing this.

    So I have a new laptop MSI with Windows 11.  Could not find a technical support forum and beta ones dont seem used?

     

    Anyway so my keyboard has a function key to use the pgup etc and works fine out of game but in game I cannot get it to work at all?  ITs a steelseries on the notebook mechanical keys.

     

    I'm hoping its actually DU at fault as dont want to have to send it back to the shop :)

     

    Any ideas?

    Out of the ashes of our original organisation ‘The Empire’ we have now formed ‘Imperial Dominion’ with the focus on the PvP content in Dual Universe. We found this content promoted activity when the game lacked content as well as teamwork on a daily basis.

    We are putting PvP first that means all our goals will be about improving how we PVP including how to support our efforts in logistics as well as creating content for our players. We are passionate about helping our players improve as well as discuss ship plans, how to improve skills and finally how to be self-sustaining. This doesnt end there we also want to still promote building things and voxel building amazing structures too in our downtime!

    As the launch is fast approaching, we certainly can see the need for fresh blood to add to our ranks and can see the value in co-operation with others who also equally sharing that goal.

    Now is the time to join our experienced group of people in the activities below.

    - Practice battles
    - Ship testing
    - Capturing or defending outposts
    - Missing Hauling
    - Asteroid hunting
