First they need to get Random spawns working instead of this on Saturday things spawn stuff after a restart, then these would be decent dynamic things. the disabling thing i'm not sure about, seems like ppl will just park right outside the influence to avoid dealing with it. and if you die and you spawn back on alioth because your respawn node isn't working.. might be a little too frustrating in early game anyway after wipe when we dont have unlimited ships and warp cells. It could disable the ship but not the respawn node would be better balance I think. and as long as the disable time is at least a few minutes so your not affected just flying through. but anyway... first let them get dynamic spawning going like a said, let's just start there =P
  2. Ravenskysong, your haven / sanctuary tile is the tile that would remain protected at all times for you to store things for long term absence. Tiles on planets will hopefully be open to territory warfare soon and I think were never meant to be permanent safe places.
  3. Oh and buying the schematics wasn't even the main problem people didn't like, you just planned out a trip and went and bought everything you needed. Organizing them and loading them into the machines was probably the most annoying thing, and now we have to do that on the regular.
  4. 100% Agree that loading schematics will be tedious and annoying to do. There is 0 reason that we shouldn't be able to automate a factory, that's what we enjoy. Now, 1 person should not be able to support the needs of a build anything factory which can easily be done through a power system where the larger factories need exponentially more power(and whatever resource is consumed to create the power). In addition, being able to transfer Items across cores would be fantastic and would actually allow for more people to work together. I do my portion and transfer it over to you. so we can have more people involved in a multi core large factory, where each core is much smaller and thus consuming less power to run for example. Etc, you get the idea. there are much better solutions. With their current solutions, we'll just raise prices of items so we can buy schematics and will still have a large factory ran by 1 or 2 people. this schematic change didn't do anything to bring fun cooperative gameplay other then maybe posting in an org, hey we need 10 ppl constantly making these schematics, and another 10 making these etc. and we just buy them off of them.
  5. when a machine run's out of schematics, does it become jammed, or stop? meaning if someone loads more schematics in, will the machine resume with the original persons talents which started the machine, or does it need to be restarted at the time of loading? in addition, currently if no schematic is loaded, you cannot select a recipe. so does it lose the recipe once it runs out of copies and must also be reselected after loading schematics?

This seems decent, the main and biggest problem i see is it says that these copy's are put in the machine the same way as before. if we have to manually add these copies frequently then no way. putting schematics in was one of the most tedious and annoying things, so to have to do this regularly.... not enjoyable process. I hope there's a way to auto load copies from a container into machines.
  7. he's just trolling nothing is mentioned about wipe yet. Which is one of the main things ppl want an answer on atm. As long as we keep skills and BP's a wipe wont be too bad. if they reset skills or just full wipe.... yea that will probably be bad. I dont see a reason for a full wipe because I dont see many new players coming in anyway, the people that were in beta will be the majority of players and so its still pretty fair and level start really imo.
  8. just implement some auto compacting after 6 hours or so and you have to respawn it from a terminal at the market.
