Jenshae
Vulkan is great for everyone. Here is an example Another From here What is perhaps worrying for Microsoft is that despite DirectX 12 games largely being bigger names than Vulkan titles, just five upcoming games have confirmed DirectX 12 support. Of these five games, three are being published by Microsoft Studios. Star Wars Battlefront II and Assassin’s Creed Origins are the only upcoming third-party games with DX12 support confirmed. All five are sure to be huge titles, however.
Megaddd
That's Unigine related, might want to harp on them to hurry it up:

Megaddd
I agree, and I'm sure it will happen at some point. They just happen to have more pressing issues at hand
blazemonger
Both Vulkan and DX12 are much more demanding on development (time) and for a confirmed Windows only title well underway and on limited resources (as clearly explained in a previous post by NQ) there is no real benefit and frankly the same arguments against it apply. blazemonger
I have nothing against Vulkan and would support any game within my interest if it used it. That said, NQ has been developing DU using an engine which up until now does not have support for Vulkan. While this may change in the future it would still not be a matter of flipping a switch as far as supporting it in game goes. If your intent is to advocate and evangelize the use of Vulkan, I am pretty sure that NQ needs no introduction in this regards and they are very much aware of what Vulkan is. Whether it serves their current roadmap or plans is another matter which is for them to consider and follow up as they think they should. What would be the benefit for NQ to go talk to Unigine to get their Vulkan support done at this time?

Nothing much, just the ability to work towards a better launch performance.
