Pre Alpha Voice chat

So its coming, The so called Pre Alpha.

that aside, How about those who have access find some place to have voicechat together? doesnt that sound intresting? I think it does... although I do suggest a place that allows multiple rooms since then we could maybe use it as a DIY faction system >0< let us commence the piracy! or just role play both is fine, those that are mic shy just listing could be fun too! since we are all about to set foot in a whole new world.. I think we should make it special event even if this voice chat thing only lasts for like a day. 

this can be on Discord (personal choice) or Team speak or maybe you fancy weird glitchy skype? or maybe you have a diffrent platform that works good.

 

ofcourse if we take a platform like team speak or discord we need some sort of moderation, to keep it friendly now I have no expirience in moderating things as I am not the most social person.

 

so please share your thoughts! if anyone els is intrested please let me know :3

Everyone will be testing with their org for the most part, or with just random guys from random orgs - as most of them already have discord, you can just hop on there.

 

For the BOO- mass tests we have in mind we will just use our BOO public discord. 

 

So I don't really see a benefit in another discord just for vc

though having 1 channel for tons of people seems questionable at best.

It is lol, don't even know if discord can handle 500 or 1k vc participants haha. 

 

But I'm sure it'll work out quite nicely, cause everyone has "their" team they play with and random people can just invite you

Don't forget about the potential NDA.

We had quite a few troubles with ATV about it.

 

Make sure to limit access and not disclose any information if NQ confirms that NDA will be part of the pre-alpha.

Yeh I have a discord server, but I'm reluctant to talk anything DU til i'm out of NDA on it.
Unless a NQ staffer wants to help out with moderation and lock down all DU chat to a DU founder with alpha access only set of users I can't see how anyone but NQ's team could do this.

Wouldn't mind joining a NQ run DU discord chat though.
