    Hi

Will it be possible to construct some kind of manual devices that other players can use?
I would like to construct some stuff and sell.

A torch might be able to be created with a switch and a light emitting element of some kind. This might not exist totally atm but might in the future.

You have the so called " Law Enforce" to make them shut up, i dont know if we can jail people in DU, i would do it and every time it will take them 10 minute in jail for spam mic. If we cant jail, simple action is : Fine. If they dont agree to pay the fine ? Call the guard and kick they out of the place.

In DU i think it will different than other game, where player have some power to even enforce people follow law of area. So i think it will make the game not spam voice everywhere. But in wild land who know, you just have a bullet into their mouth everything should fine.

I really doubt you can move any avatar besides either bumping them at high speed or put them on some form of mobile platform - but even then they still have to be put on one.... so yea, good luck with that lol.

    Hello,

I have read on the trellos map that copy/past a voxel or an element of a construct to an other was rejected. It does mean we can copy the whole construct only.

what if i am interested of a part and not of the construct alltogether.

It should be possible to past a part to an other part. Is it technically difficult to implement this or the game system does not allow edit a construct to an other construct (external).

I mean we can normally edit our construct (internal) but not with other (external) construct.

What if an other person is interested of an old engine i sell, we can not directly replace my engine to his construct ?

Thank you for your comprehension. :)

as per one of the dev preview vids you can split your construct apart - which I think would technicality make two at that point, then take a blueprint of the engine part, then join your construct back together again.

DU will very much so be a “survival” game.  Whether it be from other players, or the environment (they wish to implement food).  Similarly it would be interesting if we had to implement heat generators and whatnot imho.  Too cold?  RIP.  Maybe your friends can thaw you out?

A survival game includes the need to eat, keep warm etc otherwise you die. AFAIK DU will not impliment this and doesnt intend on doing it a later date.

I wouldnt enjoy DU if a survival mechanic was introduced. As our avatars have much more important things to do than eat n sleep.

  5. Thats what blueprints are for. You can use them to manufacture multiple copies of the same item making them ideal for producing modular items.

Its also what DUs Elements are all about - modular items that can be added to a construct to perform various  functions,  from engines to cockpits to doors to forefields to shields etc etc etc.

  6. Hi Team

The lore implies the Arkship hits Alioths crust hard and fast to embed itself solidly into the surface.

Now the arkship is big, and heavy, and is built to take the impact, however the ground is not.

Meteors that hit planets leave craters.

So the question becomes will the Arkship actually create a 20km radius CRATER around it when it lands?

This would expose low hanging fruit ores as well as give an excuse as to why its barren around the Arkship giving players a visual reason to leave the safe zone - "look grass!"

Just a thought for the devs to think over :)

    Naturally comments are welcome :)

Same should go for buildings, give them an owner, and a timeframe after which ownership is automatically ended. and after that you can take it or demolish it or recycle it.  That should be the idea, that will boost economy and choises people need to make.

    Aaron

Players make the buildings... i would rage quit if the game ended my ownership of any of my constructs while i was actively paying for my subscription. That would be a horrible game mechanic.
