  1. Hi Aesras ! I hope this answer your questions :)

    The Crowdfunding Portal now enable Kickstarter backers to upgrade their pledge!

    - If you upgrade your pledge, you will keep your Kickstarter rewards and get those according to your new pledge level.

    - If you backed the game with a Boosted Pack on Kickstarter, you won't loose the additional Beta-Keys you had by upgrading your pledge to a superior, non-boosted pack.

    - All your rewards will be displayed with the release of the Crowdfunding Portal version 2.0

    - Kickstarter Backers will be able to upgrade their pledge until the release of the Crowdfunding Portal version 2.0

    - After the release of the Crowdfunding Portal version 2.0, the current packs will be replaced by new packs with a different content and modular add-ons.

    - The Crowdfunding Portal 2.0 should be released in a few months. We don't have an exact date to communicate yet, but we will inform the community in advance when we will approach the release date (between two weeks and one month before the release).

     

    Moreover, a significant update of our user database has been made today:

     

    - All the Kickstarter backers who sent their survey form before the 1st December got their info updated on their Dual Universe account (if this one has been created before today).

    - If your backer title is displayed on the Community Portal but not on the forum under your character portrait, please sign off from the forum and sign in again. This should update your backer title.

  2. As far as i know & remember, from the gameplay that i already watch on Dual Universe Youtube cannel, the game doesn't have the movement thruster system yet ... They only implemented the main engine so far.

     

    My personal opinion, due to we can have a custom control via Lua, i think we will have a thruster movement system like Kerbal. So we can have more control on each thruster for more various movement. But i'm not sure it will make your ship agile because it's a huge thing

    What a coincidence, i also got this problem.

    But in my case, when i login i got directed to my secondary account instead of my primary ( and yes, i login with my primary account info )

     

    After doing some observation, looks like i can address the problem ... I think this is caused by emails that linked to each account during registration

     

    In other words : if you sign up an account with email A, and then you want to create secondary account with email A as the address, that means you should change email from the primary account to email B.

    And the problem start here, when you login to secondary account, you will be redirected to primary account because the email A is originally belongs to primary account due to that email is first used by account A

     

    I'm apologize for my bad english, its not my main language.

    I hope you got my point.

     

    I also contacted Novaquark about this problem but i dont get any reply until now.

  5. Just found out about this game.  Looks awesome!  I love this genre and am looking forward to the building with voxels.  Will there be some kind of an early access or something?

  7. As with highlander and so with alpha: there can be only one. AFAIK no one will be given earlier access when the alpha actually goes live.

    Yup, i also think the same.

    I hope the server is good enough so all the players that eligible for the Alpha can access the game without any quota splitting or separation  :D

     

    I think Ravenskysong is confusing "Early Bird" with a "Headstart"?

    "Boosted" could also be confusing.

    Looks like Raven misunderstand about the Early Bird. this Early refers to Early Pledges with lower price instead of Early Alpha Access  :)

     

    However, with all that said... we can't rule out the "first come first served" deal that will probably occur on the initial alpha launch.

     

    I imagine it will be a tiered roll-out for keys, first week 1,000 keys... second week another 1,000 etc.

     

    Perhaps not, but considering they haven't worked with the cloud server or w/e to the capacity that they will need for the public availability.... it's a possibility. 

     

    Clarified:

    There will only be one alpha, but release will probably be tiered if it's like any other similar indie launch I've been a part of.

    I understand that there is a chance that in some cases the Developer need to limit the Alpha Access quota due to Server Capability.

    And they pick the player based on "first come first served". If that happen, looks like i will be on the last Phase  :(

    But it's okay i guess, that is Still Alpha anyway  ^_^

  8. 1.)  It appears alpha access will be available.  At least temporarily for phase 1.

    2.) The pets will be something new, if I'm reading that correctly.  The Kickstarter pets will remain exclusive.

    Could you explain what you mean by 'final version early start'?

    Perhaps he think the Alpha Access was divided into several phase and he is referring to the "Kickstarter Alpha" is the very first Access  :unsure:

    I have some questions related to the new Update about the upcoming Crowdfunding system on Dual Universe Kickstarter page (Update #24)

    On the Phase 1 paragraph they said :

     

    "Packages will be quite similar to the Kickstarter packs, so that those of you who couldn’t pledge during the Kickstarter campaign for various reasons (not being able to pay with PayPal, missing the end date of the Kickstarter, etc.) can still support us. The available Founder packs will have the same number of DACs as the Kickstarter ones. However, they will have a few less perks."

     

    Does the upcoming Packages also contain the Alpha Access ?

    Since they said the upcoming Packages will be quite similar to the Kickstarter ones and the difference between them is the new one will have a few less perks than the Original Packages.

     

    On the Phase 2 paragraph they said : 

    "For those who like in-game pets and didn’t have the opportunity to get one from the Kickstarter, we plan to make a new one available through an add-on."

     

    Does this in-game pet is the same thing that included on the Kicstarter package ?

    As far as i know, the in-game pet is an Exclusive perks for the Kickstarter Backer, and on this new update they said that the in-game pet will be available through add-on.

  10. What I've enjoyed the most and I think made the game so much fun is the ability to have criteria on every resource type.

    Depending on them you can craft average/good/great items, which makes mining a very important task, so territory control.

     

    The crafted items (gun, turret for instance) would have many criteria which value will be computed from the resource's ones (and maybe also the crafting skills).

    So it's more like the item quality based on the quality of the resource itself ?

    That's cool,

    I mean ... i can build build such great armor for better defense if i have better materials ? count me in !  B)
