The proper keys, in pairs, are q:e, w:s, a:d for the three dimensions and mousewheel for proximity.

You'll need to build carefully to fully utilize a Territory Scanner on a ship as it is tall, heavy and thin and will make most ships difficult to fly.
I recommend a simple S core + shape with M engines and parts and anti gravity (one generator and 6 pods) to gracefully float from 1 hex to the next. Plan some nanocrafting too as there's a 15 minute wait for the scan.

Well, hate to break it to you sport, but I didn't get a warning. Nice that you report a body rather than say direct so a person can edit out a blunder, but you do you. And that's only one, btw, if true.

I know what a NDA is. I was just fuzzy about why the NDA was still being mentioned and asked for clarification.

No you can have more than 1, but you have to buy or make them.

100 usually means the server is down. Check on Discord (I know, right?) to confirm.
Been some confusion as this error also turned up when the passwords needed to be changed. Should that happen again, it needs you to detect if others are playing and then check discord or your emails.
106 usually means that the server is open, but set to private to make sure things are working under low load before the teeming masses rush in.
If you see this, rejoice for your next brief window of joy is soon at hand.
Please sticky this to help cut down the myriad of identical "Error 100?" threads littering the forum.

106 is, I theeeeenk, that there is a server there but it's been set to private. This means it's up, but the mods are testing it under low load before proper release.
Nobody has had much play time this weekend.

During Alpha, I found some x as y type fun additions for your ships and buildings.
I'll add pics soon.
Sliding doors as extending wings.
Just put the doors on the horizontal plane and either program a lua board or use a linked switch in your cock pit to open/close. When open it will look like a wing as it spread out.
Note: it will not act like a wing.
Spiral Staircase using steel panels
Build a column 9 by 9 by desired height ( working off memory here, will confirm) small squares. Place your first panel straight out, then place each subsequent panel on the last at its minimum rotation, which I think is 30 degrees. Continue around the pillar until your desired height, remove pillar to taste.
Small Landing gears as Pistons (requires Lua magic)
Place them in a 4 by 4 (or as many as you like) banks and program lua to move alternate 'banks' out and in to give the appearance of a working combustion engine.
More to follow and feel free to add your own, or the lua programming (I'm hopeless at lua).

Did they get this to work consistently? It was a bit hit and miss in he real alpha.

Server status; not good enough. Dying again.

Did you smash into the ground? Don't worry if you did, it's a kind of a rite of passage (the atmosphere is measured from the base of the crater. This catches a lot of people out).

An example craft. If you want to build ships that aren't just boxes with a seat, join up on the org menu.

Agreed. That's why I'm soloing as Enzo Ferrari crossed with an Aztec high priest of a blood cult. If I ever join a large org I'm not going in as miner slave or gun drone no. 456.
