  1. This mechanic does not solve problems with alts. The alts will decrease as soon as every player has to pay for the account via subscription.
  2. That's a funny, far too simple calculation. Most fields get 500L/hour as total volume, but who is supposed to set up a MiningUnit to mine 8 litres of bauxite or 45 litres of coal and 72 quartz? to then get 3x 125L of haematite? So the players decide to mine only 3x haematite. This means that you only have 375L x24hrs in the calculation. But you are forgetting the most important thing. We don't want the MiningUnits to ONLY pay our taxes, but to mine ores with them so we can play with them, i.e. build something.
  3. If you don't want to stop arguing, NQ will add the damage from flowers and bushes again. That will be fun for a while. Then the fog won't matter any more. It would be much more important, as soon as you fly above 1,000mp/h, that you fly through buildings and can't take damage. (Except for the hardcore PvPers, of course, who need that!
  4. When will nebulae be introduced into the space section so that the space doesn't look so empty. Couldn't this have been introduced with Demeter, when you're already forcing players into space through taxes and Asteroids?
  5. Question 01: Is it possible to take the gambling factor out of the mining unit system? It is always a risk factor that you cannot influence and for some areas it is then a question of the profitability of ores and taxes. Question02: Is it possible to enable all skill points of the MiningUnits via VR. Again, it is a nonsensical calculation if you have to fly your fields and thus spend a lot of time and fuel to calibrate these MiningUnits to get an economic return. Question03: At the moment a lot of Quanta is taken out of the game by taxes, at the same time the VR restriction on missions prevented Quanta from coming into the game in sufficient quantity. Is this really the way it is meant to be? Question04: It seems to discourage a lot of players from logging in to pay their taxes. Frustration has arisen among many players, some are moving back to Sanctuary and some are simply leaving the game and cancelling their subscriptions. Wouldn't it be enough if the headquarters (HQ) could also be exempt from tax and at the same time be used for industries? This would certainly make a positive difference for many players.
  6. It's a game of chance, because no matter what technique you use, in the end it's luck, the random factor, that decides where the best point is. I have had fields where there was no 100% point. Similarly, you can't even use the MU fully with the calibration via VR, so you have to fly straight there and have wasted more time and fuel.
  7. Is it possible to change the atmosphere on the Sanctuary Moon to make it more beginner-friendly? Normally moons have no atmosphere at all, but why is such a dense atmosphere chosen here?
  8. That is not quite true! The normal mining was voluntary. Everyone could dig as much as they wanted and do whatever they wanted with the ore. The new mining system, however, was introduced together with taxes. So a player has to go digging/calibrating or fly afk missions for hours. Without taxes no machines, no autominer (although autominer is wrong for me, it is only partially automated) no progress. You could also stay on Sanctuary forever, but progress is even more limited there because the resources are set extremely low. So, the system was not only replaced 1 to 1, but made worse by additional obligations. If ore prices fall even further, some areas will not be worthwhile at all if the ores are brought to the market - just to be able to pay the tax. There are hardly any ores left over for the progress of the game. I'm already waiting for the prices to drop to the bot prices, then not only Quanta will disappear from the game, but the ore as well.
  9. Since NQ is pioneering the technology behind Dualuniverse for the Metaverse, will there still be a DualUniverse as a game after successful marketing or was it used purely as a marketing purpose and showcase for the technology? Beyond that, are there any plans for how long DualUniverse will be available to players?
  10. At the moment it's more of a sandbox with 2-3 shapes for playing and building. However, the rules say how big you can build and how much of the sandbox you can use, as well as how deep you can dig. Also, the rules say that you have to spend a certain amount of time playing exactly what the sandbox owner wants in order to pay taxes. So, before you can build what you want, first earn the right to build things and then, earn the right to keep those things. Unless you stay in your little corner in the sandbox, which is precisely marked and only offers a playground to play in.
  11. If more compulsory content comes in the form of more restrictions and controls, I will definitely leave the game. There are now enough limits that the game imposes on me, there was never any talk of that at the beginning. There is not much left of a huge infinite sandbox voxel building game.
  12. What's wrong with that, in the first few weeks / in the first week. The s in weeks was missing in the translation. Think about it, a new player does the tutorials for a few days, the first of which alone takes hours of play time to get to the area unit on Sanctuary. Accordingly, there are also quanta and skill points there when you have gone through all of them. so the first week goes by really fast. The 5 MiningUnits S also don't take long in the nanocrafter - you collect some ground ores anyway and slowly get into the game. For new players, the problem is not so much whether you can afford MiningUnits (L) after one or after 2 weeks, but that there is no game content besides that.
  13. You don't need a factory. It is enough for the MiningUnit S of the Nanocrafter.
  14. In the beginning, you can do this calculation with 5x Mining Unit S in the first week, you just make them in the Nanocrafter and then just exchange them. one then costs 200,000-300,000 quanta on the market at the moment.
  15. 125l coal 125l coal 90l coal 70l quarz 39l hematite = 5 MiningUnits. = all 24hours durch kalibrierung 5x ~4000 Erz (T1) = 20.000 T1Ore a Day = ~ 530L every hour = 530x24 =12.720 T1 Ore a Day = 32.720 T1 Ore a Day = 229.040 T1 Ores a week. Edit: 257.600 T1 Ore for Ore-Bot on Markt to 25q = 5.726.000 Quanta for a "Beginner" in the first week, taxfree, only with the sanct-tile. Edit: actualisierung:no TileBoni 10-60% Edit: with fullskill you can make the bauxite too. its only 13l/h but every day the calibarte ore ~4000 is nice to have. the calibrate point is cap 10/10 so ist ok. with 6 Mining units. So you can make : +13L x 24 = 312 a Day / 2184 week + 4000 x 7 = 21.000 /week = 30.184 ore per week more. (30.184 x 25q = 754.600 quanta)
  16. Sanctuary was a dead end only because the ores there were limited to the one area. No matter what you wanted to build there, you always needed transport to bring more resources to Sanctuary. In contrast, Alioth had almost infinite ores in the ground and a free choice of the many tiles available there. So the impasse was true at that time. Now with Demeter, you can set up mining units there and also build a base without any problems and develop much further than before the patch. It is and remains an important first step. If more players settle there as a retreat and new players spend more time there learning and building up, it will also become busier. Currently, trading activity is also increasing there.
  17. DualUniverse is currently a kind of limited sandbox for players who like something like Minecraft or Lego. The PvP itself is currently absurd, unbalanced and too expensive to really "have fun" there. In the end, all that's left is to "build something". There is only variety if you want to fly a mission. (cost-benefit risk) Some people also think Lua is great - but do they really need DualUniverse? There is no standard content here such as raids, arenas, battlegrounds, castle wars, dungeons, quests, monsters, world bosses, mounts-pets to collect or food-drink-buff-food mechanics in general, etc.
  18. The obstacle to transporting ore was partially solved with the advertise-a-friend programme. The small 2-seater car has a small container. for a start, it is very cheap and inexpensive to maintain. with it, you take something to the market 1-3 times and can then buy something bigger. At the same time, the programme gives you 1,000,000 skill points for the start.
  19. A new player lands on Sanctuary with his special TU and selects an area. The territory is tax-free forever. There he collects a few ground ores and gradually builds the MiningUnits S from the Nanocrafter. He sets them up and then gets his ores 24/7 in addition to collecting 20L of ore. After a while, the ore is enough to buy better ships, to expand a base or to look for Alioth in order to capture an area there. The whole game was simply slowed down for new players in terms of progress. We old players are just lucky that we have already built up everything important for us and many still have reserves. I would say that in the past you could achieve everything you wanted in the game within a month, but now it will take much more time, maybe even a year or more.
  20. I see the problem more in the distribution of ore. There are also tiles with >700L/h on Alioth, but you often can't put many more units on them to mine than on those with 575-640. In the end, a mining unit should also be worthwhile and be able to exploit the potential of the 125L, especially since you also have to calibrate it again and again. So why should you get an ore out with a 125L machine that would only have 50L?
  21. What does it mean to you at what point it is "worth" claiming an area? Demeter shows a clear direction and change from DualUniverse in how quickly the game develops from a player's point of view. Meaning, there is now slower progression built up. You should move away from the idea that you can create T4-T5 content within a few days like before. Most areas are generally worthwhile, as they yield enough ores to pay taxes and still have something for yourself to build. Therefore, even the worst field would still be economical. At the moment, many players are just running around trying to find the "perfect" fields, and we don't even know yet how the economy will settle down. Whether the prices of T1-T5 ores will remain stable or whether prices will change drastically and perhaps offer completely different possibilities in terms of value.
  22. But they have only recently taken the trouble to rework these surface rocks and make them glow in the dark.
