Can't afford to lose that ship, or rebuild it? DO NOT LEAVE A SAFE ZONE WITH IT. Overstep our bounds? We are pirates. By definition, we live outside the constraints of your laws. My org, at least, allows any of our targets a chance to keep their ship relatively intact by giving up their cargo or paying us. We may fire until your weapons are disabled before leaving the area, but we won't completely destroy your ship. It's nothing personal unless you intentionally grief or harass one of my members, then you will see how much of an asshole I can be.

I don't think you understand what a challenge pirating in DU is going to be. Your average angry tween isn't going to be a pirate in DU. It is going to take a whole lot more than "let's go steal from people". It is going to be a lifestyle choice. It will definitely weed out the weaker people unfit to become true pirates!

There is always honor amongst the true pirates. The griefer thieves of the unwashed masses who give us true pirates a bad name, though, have no honor and should not be trusted. You do bring up a good point though. So though I may not post this now, I will likely, in the future, attempt to diplomasize us a black market resupply network that is safe for the suppliers, cuz I takes care of my people, even if they aren't in my org.

It wouldn't though, if they did it right. I think it would make things more fun, HEY WE NEED TO HIT THE BRIDGE BEFORE THEY ACTIVATE THE SELF DESTRUCT! Or, ya know, getting to engineering to shut it down before the countdown expires.

Pledges don't seem to be correct all the way around. I have a Gold package, but it doesn't show in the forums.

As a pirate, I need a sword. I don't care if melee combat isn't added until later, I still need a sword on my belt.

Well, it was started as a discussion.. Then I got sidetracked for a while and when I came back, lost my train of thought so ended it with an advertisement lol It wasn't just on the forums, a lot of discord people make the same assumption.
