  1. Yep unfortunately they are quite common in the forums and reddit-not really in game through. As of today I have unsubscribed from the game , and I wish all who play in the best of luck! Also. how do I uninstall dual universe?
  2. Wow... Just because I like this game does not mean I cannot criticize it. With that being said I still think pve should be implemented eventually, I am not saying they should get rid of pvp-quite the contrary actually. Anyone thanks for proving my point- enjoy your week! OP- You will encounter this attitude a lot on the subreddit and the forums- so keep that in mind!
  3. Hello, OP I agree with most everything you said, besides the survival element thing. You will see a lot of people are against NPC/PVE content for some reason. However, I believe that the "emergent content" this game emphasizes is very lacking, and may improve eventually. Don't forget about the baffling game design decisions!
  4. As of right now I would say wait give it 3-6 months when NQ gets the core issues fixed with the game. If you do jump in beware of baffling game design decisions, and unintuitive UI among other things. T
  5. Right now what else is there to do besides mine build mine- npcs will add more depth to an incredibly hollow gameplay loop. Naturally, they need to be implemented correctly to make the player feel rewarded and that they were engaged in the content as well. Also, no is crying for EZ mode- is asking for more depth easy mode to you? The game I was pitched was a single shard mmo- where you can forge your own way. What I got is mining simulator 2.59 with some flying and markets involved and maybe a few orgs. So no, I don't think it is easy mode to ask for more depth in a game that has barely any depth.
  6. I am not sure what to say to do this. PVE and NPCS would be nice, because I don't know it is 2020 and most other games have them? This whole emergent gameplay might dry up real quick....
  7. Yes, there are a lot of things that annoy me about this game. This is one of the more irritating ones however. The gameplay loop is very shallow, at the moment, and probably would of been better if npcs/pve were implemented. Something to help the solo players would be nice as well. On saturday, I was looking at basic industry process and trying to figure out how to set them up and the amount of menus I had to click through drove me through the wall. Also, the UI needs to fixed such that it is easier to find recipes and stuff. It should at the very least tell you the crafting progression system.
  8. Yeah, I will just say PVE should of been included in the game from the start. However, yes pvp and territory warfare needs to be more clearly implemented. Furthermore, I see Lua as a massive issues for when it comes to pvp, because of numerous security issues, and other possible abuses. Finally, I will say all of this stuff should of been included in the beta- what was the point of alpha testing if not to develop these systems and beta to make sure that they were implemented correctly?
  9. Uh, actually I think it is supposed to ask you for your payment info. However, I am American so I could be wrong- I don't see why it would be different in the EU.

  11. Indeed, which makes me wonder about what the purpose of "alpha testing" was for and how many people they had at a time in alpha.
  12. That is a fair point, but you think what they are working should also be communicated outside of discord/twitter-such as on the forums or the news section of the games website.
  13. Ya think they would put out a press release for this kind of thing- something along the line of "Hey, we are working on this-here is when ya can expect a fix". Also, nice to meet a fellow Minnesotan!

  15. So just like CCP and Eve? Also, where is the communication about these issues from NQ? They do realize we are paying for this right? This stuff should of been sorted out in the first few days. Furthermore, what was all the alpha testing for if they couldn't get these major issues taken care of. If I hadn't been following this game for two years I would've of stopped playing by now.
  16. Yeah, I agree on this- has there been any update from NQ about fixes/patches? I also find it funny that this game wants to hold a million players at the same time, but can barely hold 30k with major issues. Thus making me wonder, what all the alpha "testing" was for.
  17. Why would NQ grey out the primary interaction keys among other things?. I do not use a mouse, and since I am unable to rebind the scroll wheel key- I cannot zoom in on tiles. Furthermore, it is 2020 in all my other games- I can rebind all of my keys- why not in this game? I will file a bug report, about this because I doubt it is an intended "feature", and if it is it is a bad design decision.
  18. Another question I have been trying to get back to my base for the last few days- but I couldn't . I then did a force respawn and respawned back at the wrong sanctuary moon- as the one I need to be on is 0.77 su away. Is there anyway to get back to that moon via shuttle/ship/speeder?
  19. So am I supposed to be able to rebind those greyed out keys or are they supposed to be locked keybindings? Other than that, thanks for the info.
  20. Hello, I am unable to rebind the primary interaction keys and other keys, because they are greyed out . I am still able to rebind most of my keys-just no the ones that are greyed out Is this an intended feature or is this a bug? Furthermore, I have a few questions as well.: How many systems does this game have now, and what is interstellar trade like currently(I heard something about ftl drives/jump gates?)? Third, are animals/fauna going to be added in eventually? Fourth, in EVE there was a major market hub - does this game have something akin to that? Fifth, why is the sky blue(in real life not in game-this is a joke question)?
